The great part of this appliance is the sleek profile and fits perfectly under our over range cabinet. Would suggest hiring an electrician to properly install this range hood. A major upgrade for us, and it’s very quiet on low to medium speed. Would have liked a “low” light option for the lighting; only has a “high” option. Overall happy with this update. Just be aware you will need to hire a professional if you are not good at DIY.

I roast my own coffee which produces a tremendous amount of smoke and on high this unit pulls it right up and out. The four settings makes a great variety to match the kind of cooking your are doing. Install was easy enough if your handy and have done this kind of thing before. My house has a goofy set-up for exhaust from the range hood and it still went together easier than I thought it would. On high it is very loud but it's an ok trade if you need to vent lots of smoke or steam. Low and Medium settings are fine and 3 i still reasonable. The finish is great. The lights are ooo at best but until someone makes LED's that can withstand kitchen heat we're stuck with halogens. It doesn't come with the lights FYI. All in all just what I was looking to get.

I ordered the hood in July and the presumed delivery was delayed by almost 2 weeks. I understand this is due to the pandemic, but the communication between best buy was not what I expected. I had to call about 3 times, unable to get an answer from customer service and when I went in to the store to find out what was going on, I was greeted by an annoyed employee at the entrance. When the product finally arrived and I picked it up to prevent any further delay with delivery, I was surprised to find out that the hood did not come with the plug in connector or the two halogen lamps that are indicated as included in the best buy website. After having to pay an electrician to install the missing plug in connector and having to waste more time on the phone with best buy, I was offered a discount to make up for the missing items in my order. Overall, I love the hood as I had an external vent set up with the installation and so far everything is working great. But Best buy, I hope I won't have this problem again in the future.

Love it. Looks great and works well. Bulbs didn't come with it and honestly were a little hard for me to put in but otherwise I'd recommend.

Looks even better than I expected and performs well as it should. You surely get what you pay for. Was thinking of getting the cheaper brand but opted for this and am not disappointed. My wife is supper happy and so am I bottom line.

And this fan head has the quietest fan of any that I’ve listened to.

Rivets on the hood failed after just a few years. See attached photo. Very disappointing. We purchased this hood in 2017 as part of a kitchen remodel where we installed all Bosch appliances. Almost every one of them suffered a failure within a few years, but of course outside of warranty. See my other reviews on the Best Buy site. Bosch is no longer a quality manufacturer.

Looks great, works great .. light bulbs were hard to put in but that might just be me!

To begin with this is a great range hood. It's settings allow for all but the worst smoke or fume issues to be dealt with. I home roast coffee which produces lots of smoke and this takes care of it. Drawback 1 - very loud at max speed. Drawback 2 - lights produce too much heat which can be felt on the top of the hood. 3 - wires for install really short.

Excellent range hood. We have an older house and we had some minor challenges but in the end it worked really well. The fan is generally quiet and having light over the stove again is so nice. It matches nicely with our Bosch stove!

Actually, not vent at all. I love this hood. I love that it's stainless steel. I love that it's got many different levels of venting from which to choose. I love the price.

Bought this to match my Bosch range. It was a little shorter than my old one so I had to paint the array before installing. It's a little loud but works well and the led lights are great! Turn switches are easy to use. Overall a good buy.

Item didn't come with the light bulbs. This unit is pretty pricey and would've liked them to be included. Power is decent. Sound is decent.

I love this hood range! It's stylish and works wonderfully with different vent options. I'm very happy!

The Bosch fan has been a great upgrade to what we had. Really removes the smoke from the cooktop. The LED lights are really great, although you do have to go out and purchase the lights separately.

This range hood runs quiet and can move a lot of air. The installers did a excellent job, minor mods had to be made to the cabinet. Bosch do not provide light bulbs for this unit, we got gu10 led instead of halogens.

I purchased this unit over two months ago. Unit does not blow out it only recirculates. First unit was apparently broken and needed a new part that was back ordered. Bosch finally just replaced the whole unit and now I have the exact issue all over again. Just blows the air out the front of the hood not out. Apparently they have the part on order and are coming back out next week to fix it. Only purchase this hood if you hope is for an overpriced fan because that’s all I’ve gotten so far. If your reading this review and you already have one installed make sure the air isn’t blowing out the front of it. If it is it’s recirculating the air not pushing it out. Worthless...

Matches my other Bosch 500 series appliances. Easy to install

Noisy garbage broke twice already and took months to arrive to the store. Would expect more from something in this price range
