Purchased and the tech who came out said he did not have a water line long enough, even though I found the water line kit inside the unit after he left it in my dining room. Called a trusted plumber, they came out and installed for just under $300 additional dollars. Now, 2 days later, I have an error code that there is something wrong with the door and Best Buy cannot come out and fix it for 2 more weeks. If they do not fix it, I will be returning it. I do not like the design of the dishwasher either, as you cannot tell if it is on because the display does not light up after it starts. My last dishwasher was a Bosch and it lasted 23 years, but this one seems fragile and picky. I will not buy another one if they cannot fix this one, and also, disappointed in wait times over the phone (total of over a hour on hold) for Geek Squad.

Bosch 800 dishwasher is not quiet

Perhaps the old 800 model was quiet, but the latest model is loud in comparison. I bought this after reading all the rave reviews about being able to stand next to the dishwasher and not know it was on. With the latest model, you won’t experience that. You can hear it running from other rooms. You will know that it’s on. It cleans well, but I bought this model for the advertised quietness.

Disappointed

But this time after many years of purchasing items from Best Buy and having them installing these items I was very disappointed. The installation crew arrived and looked around before starting to work. They were not able to communicate with me in English so the called their manage and put him on the phone to let me know what all they would be doing. We used their phone again later to translate a few questions. Once installed instead of walking me through the operation of this dishwasher they showed me that the light came on proving that it was working and they left. The next day I called Best Buy customer service to talk and after 29 minutes on hold, I move forward to the internet and down loaded the operation manual. I hope this is not the way of the future form a store a really like. In rating the dishwasher it works great on the basic cycle, I just do not know all of the other things it can do.

Over priced under achieve

The display is a joke and so is the cycle selection. You can smell the dishwashing detergent after a full cycle. The door doesn't open automatically after a cycle which still leaves the dish wet even after running crystal dry.

They don't make them like they used to.

It is leaking from the top. Best Buy has advised that it's still under warranty so call the manufacturer. I can't get anyone at Bosch on phone and the soonest appointment for repair is October 4th 1 month from now.

Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. To improve drying results, we recommend turning on the Intensive Drying feature. High-end waste

Not made to last like they used to be. A $1300 dishwasher should be cleaning the dishes, not cleaning out your bank account.
