Super quiet does not mean super effective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the low noise level of this dishwasher is amazing the washing ability falls far short. The handle broke off within 90 days of purchase. Had it repaired only to break again less than a week later. It now looks worse than the original problem. Dishes don’t come clean unless you put this dishwasher on the heaviest, longest cycle. Even still have to hand wash most cups on the top rack. Needless to say after a year we are very disappointed.

Didn't clean well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After just the 2nd wash noticed milk spots left on baby bottles and did a bad job drying. I used the highest temp settings with the longest cleaning cycles. I also used the rinse agent as recommended.

DO NOT BUY. Design flaw. Dishes end up stinking.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher has a huge flaw. Water remains in the bottom of the pan under the filter screen where the pump pushes it out, and it stinks the dishwasher up. It also leaves your dishes smelling fishy and eggy. Google this. You will see a ton of affirmation on this. It’s a nice dishwasher, but the most important thing is to have clean smell free dishes.

It doesn't Work! Thats a fine start!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not work properly the day it was installed. Bosch had a few suggestions, it got worse. The assigned repair company came out.. took a few days, then he said he needs parts, and he won't be back for a week. I would never buy this brand again.

We love our new dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super quiet, we love our 3rd rack. Even though there is not drying mode, dishes come out of the dishwasher pretty much dry. If there are cups or something that can keep the water, yes - you will get a little bit of water in there. Overall solid build.

What a great appliance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this a few weeks now, installation was not difficult with the exception of having to move my electric a little to allow for the new cord setup versus the old way of hard wired. I had mixed feelings about making this choice since there is no drying coil but I'm very stratified with it. Very quiet, dishes are clean and glasses seem to be clearer compare to our old dishwasher which was also a Bosch. Yes there is the occasion when something is not completely dry, but that is usually the top of a glass or a mixing bowl that is not flat. Had the same issue with every dishwasher I have ever owned. But if you utilize the delay start and use the sanitize and extra dry setting it is very rare to find a wet item the next morning.

MEH
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this machine for the quiet rating, myway rack and super dry feature. To me it's not all that quiet - keep in mind they can't control the noises made when it drains. For an open concept kitchen it's still noisy. The my way rack is nice and big compared to others, but everything holds water. I've cut down my use of it considerably for that reason. EVERYTIME everything is soaked.. .doesn't matter if I use Super dry or not and we do have rinse aid in and have tried the recommended detergent to no avail. We use a fair amount of plastic and that's what is always soaked. And I hate how the tines are designed on the bottom rack. They are all slanted and you can't really stand a pyrex casserole dish on the side like you can in any other standard DW that has vertical tines. And the plate tines are really too close together. Kids plates with lips cannot get clean in that section. And the control panel seems crappy - have to really push the buttons hard and in the right spot for them to work. I was super excited about this DW, but for what we paid it's turned out to be just MEH.

E24 error - won't run
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this High end dishwasher through Best Buy 8 months ago. They installed it. Did not buy extended warranty, this was a mistake. It ran great for 7 months. Then it stopped working and threw up a E-24 error code-Not draining. Disconnected drain hose from Garbage disposal. Cleared out a small amount of food, reconnected it and it worked. A month later again it stopped with the E-24 code. Again I disconnected the drain hose but it was clean. I then removed the pump cover as described in one of the many U-Tube videos of people with E-24 problems. This also didn't solve the problem. Best Buy does not service these after 30 days unless you buy their Geek Squad protection. Call Bosch and they say 9 times out of 10 that this error can be deleted by resetting. This did not fix it for me. They then gave me two numbers of local repair shops. Search for Bosch E24 on the internet. There are lots of people with this problem.

RUN AWAY!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had this dishwasher for two months and it stopped working. Bosch said it would be at least a month (!) before they could send out a technician. They said we could use an authorized repair person in our area. Someone came out yesterday and did not have any idea what they were doing. Even though the dishwasher is clearly under warranty we had to pay over $300 (he said the repair was scheduled as "COD") and today the dishwasher is not working and is now leaking. That "authorized" repair place is not returning my calls. I called Bosch and they said call volume is high and they are not able to help right now and I was disconnected. Is this customer service? If you buy a Bosch appliance, good luck! And I hope you do not need customer service. Also - the repair place said that Best Buy botched the installation which led to water not getting into the dishwasher. I have no idea if that is correct, since our dishwasher issue is still not resolved.

Worst DW ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most expensive dishwasher I have ever owned. If I could return it I would. Tall glasses only fit on the top sides, if you put tall glasses on any other area on the top it won't close properly. The spacing and angle of the bottom racks is poor. The dishes don't sit on the perfect angle for best cleaning and the poor rack design allows for a lesser amount of dishes than my last 2 dishwashers. The heated dry function works horribly. We have tried to fix the issues several times using the manual and still doesn't work. Therefore, we have to let the dishes sit for a long time to dry or hand dry them before putting away. Very disappointed in the DW... I wish we never purchased it. Only 5 stars is how quiet it is, which is what sold us in the first place.

They Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If we could turn back the clock, we would gladly pay the $500-800 necessary to replace the heating element on our 15-year-old Bosch, versus the $1,200 or so we spent on this hunk of junk. But no. We listened to other posted advice, that if the heating element goes, then you should just get another dishwasher. WRONG. We first tried replacing the old Bosch with a top of the line Kitchen Aid. We had heard great things about them. But I am guessing those people never had an earlier model Bosch. Our old Bosch was rated for 48 decibels operating level. The Kitchen Aid at 44dcb should have been MUCH QUIETER RIGHT? Not. The thing sounded like a freight train running through the house. But at least that install went as planned. The eventual replacement of the Kitchen Aid, with this new top of the line Bosch, was a month-long circus. Which included installers showing up at our house at 9:30 AT NIGHT - WITHOUT THE DISHWASHER - "Oh, the dishwasher isn't here?" At a rating of 39 decibels this new Bosch should have been quieter than quiet. After all, our old one, at 48decibels, had to be opened to determine if it was running. Again, WRONG. We can hear each cycle change from the bedroom or living room as well. We basically call this thing the STERILIZER or the DRYER, as you have to scrub the dishes clean before you put them in the dishwasher, otherwise you will end up with dirty dishes. And that highly coveted third rack, well it's highly over-rated. When in use, you lose functionality in the second and third racks. This dishwasher holds 30% less dishes than our old one, meaning more loads. They show you nice little pictures of 12-place settings of china fitting ever-so-nicely in the dishwasher. But how often do you do that? Ultimately though, we have lost steam, and will just end up living with this one. It has been about six months since we purchased this heap. The thought of trying to get this replaced is/was beyond our stamina. We would gladly pull our old Bosch out of whichever dump it winded up in and pay to have the heating element replaced. THE ONLY good innovation on this new one, is the red light which glows at the bottom of the dishwasher to let you know it is running. But ironically, we don't need that feature on this one. YOU KNOW. Fix your old one or just buy a much cheaper one and buy some really nice headphones to wear while its running.

Bosch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It smells! Does not dry dishes well. Back to the smell. I run my dishwasher daily. When you open it at the end of the day it has a foul smell. Bosch came out and told me to hit the rinse cycle once a day to “fix” the problem. Don’t buy it!
