A friend recommended that I consider the Bosch dishwasher as I was considering another brand. He did not lead me astray as I am really pleased with the quiet and efficient way this product cleans my dishes sparkling clean.

We replaced our 16 year old dishwasher with this one. I wish we had done it sooner. It is so quiet that we can run the dishwasher and watch TV at the same time. It cleans really well. We love that it has three racks.

This is our 8th Bosch Dishwasher. We move often and one of the first things we do is replace the dishwasher with a Bosch. Can't beat the cleaning, little noise (actually you have to check to be sure it is running).

This is an excellent dishwasher. It runs very quite. It is easy to set up for special wash cycles. The fact that there is a display on the outside is very useful.

So quiet! Cleans very well. Lots of loading options.

We've had the unit for a month and so far it has lived up to our expectations. It does an excellent job of cleaning dishes, is extremely quiet and really was an easy install.

This dishwasher is excellent and exceptionally quiet! It cleans the dishware to a sparkling shine and you have to keep checking it to see that it is running because it is so quiet.

Nice quiet washer. Does the job pretty well and looks very nice in the kitchen. I did dock it 1 star since the detergent sometimes does not deploy if you have too much stuff on the top rack.

we've had it less than a month now, but this Bosch has been doing a tremendous job. Super quiet, super clean, and the installation team was top notch. Highly recommended on all counts.

I suffered some trepidation before committing to a premium dishwasher such as this Bosch 800-series unit. My brother-in-law had an older Bosch which he liked, but I knew with an open-plan house and line-of-sight between the dishwasher and my TV I was going to need a *really* quiet unit or change my habits. I'm pleased I bought this unit. This thing is amazingly quiet. Yes, you can hear it if you are right on top of it, but even then it is a low hum/thrum not a whoosh-whash noise. It certainly doesn't affect my family's TV time in the evenings at all. I had to spend a little time tweaking the rinse-aid level (range 0-5; I found 2 was good for me with a whole-house water softener), and to begin with I was using too much powder detergent but once I dialed it back all my glassware etc comes out brilliantly clean and smear-free. No need to use the expensive all-in-one tablets. The upper 3rd rack for utensils isn't perfect for heavily-soiled knives and forks but I if they are really bad I use the lower-shelf basket and that can clean anything in it. Bottom line: I would recommend this in an instant and now I know that 42dBA is enough, maybe more than enough, for an open-plan house.

Excellent dishwasher. Only thing I don't like is the buttons on the front and it also doesnt tell you where it is in the cycles. Washes great. Extremely quiet. Would deffinately buy it again.

I love it so far, it is so quiet and with the pods does a very good job on cleaning. I do rinse the dishes before putting them to make sure they are extra clean.

I love this Bosch dishwasher, it (very) quietly cleans whatever I put in it. No greasy skim on plastic, no water spots, NO NOTHING but clean dishwater. Thank you Bosch!

This dishwasher is really quiet and gets my dishes clean. I like the recessed handle and it's flush with cabinet so I don't get caught when working on the island by the dishwasher.

Its quality is so nice and it's nearly silent. Only downside after almost a year of use is that when it drains into the sink, that's loud!

I didn't want to spend over $1000 for a dishwasher, and had some size limitations to work around. This Bosch was the best choice, and I've been pleased with it. Dishes are much cleaner than with my old dishwasher and the only noise I hear while it's running is when the water drains. Only drawbacks to a 5-star rating are 1) that the top rack loading is a puzzle to initially figure out, and 2) because there is no heated drying, there's an occasional damp smell to the tub. The smell seems to be decreasing over time (our machine has been installed for 5 weeks.). Overall, very pleased! A nice Best Buy surprise is their price match guarantee. At check-out, their system automatically runs a price search which found another store selling the same model for $80 less, so that was credited to my purchase. Thanks you, Best Buy!

We wanted a quiet unit and this is amazing. You basically have to put your ear to the door to hear anything. So far the dishes are very clean and the dishwasher is easy to use.

Quiet doesn’t mean this machine is a good one to buy or use. We are so disappointed, if we had the money, I would donate this one and buy a Kitchen Aid. The salesman did NOT tell me the regular cycle lasts 2-1/2+ hours. That is ridiculous. He did NOT tell me it did not have a real dryer, but some kind of condensation drying method, which means only the first rack is dry. He did not tell me that to get the dishes dry, you had to be right there when the cycle ends to open the door and allow the condensation to disperse for at least 30 minutes if you wanted your dishes dry, but even that doesn’t work on the second rack. And who wants to open up the dishwasher and walk around it, as well as make sure you are johnny-on-the-spot to open it in time? And then there is the taste of the soap and/or drying agent on anything plastic. If you put anything hot in your plasticware after being washed, it absorbs the taste of the soap, so you are eating soap! It is awful. No longer can I even use this dishwasher, period. There are just two of us, and we don’t need to wash but every two or three days, so we didn’t notice before our 30 days were up to return it for a different dishwasher. We are stuck with this ridiculous machine that we can’t or won’t even use. To say we are upset is a total understatement. Why use a dishwasher if the dishes take that long to wash, don’t really dry your dishes, and when you fill up a newly washed glass, soap bubbles foam up, proving they are not really rinsed? So now I am washing my dishes by hand. I am trying to get the taste of the soap out of the glasses and all the dishes. Oh, and did I mention the racks are so weird there is no way to really stack my dishes properly so they don’t fall over on each other, especially the bowls? This is NOT what I bought this dishwasher for. My older one was much better than this one—, a Whirlpool, which was not very quiet, but at least the cycle was just over one hour and the dishes didn’t taste like soap, and they came out dry. We are disappointed, angry, and can’t afford to just buy another one and give this one away. Who would buy it from us?
