We replaced our dishwasher in 2018 with a Bosch 300 series. A nice investment. It was very quiet and efficient. It only lasted 5 years. So after attempting to have it repaired, we decided to invest in a new model. Bosch was not a top 3 replacement choice. After speaking extensively with the Best Buy home appliance staff, and reviewing online reviews, Bosch became our top choice again. We purchased a Bosch 800 series model. We are very satisfied with the performance. It is even quieter than our previous 300 series model. The only real disappointment is the small utensil basket. Our 300 series model had a basket twice the size of the 800 series model. For the price point this model represents, the utensil basket should have been much larger.

Installation took about one hour and installers were very professional and knew what they were doing. The dishwasher itself was advertised as quiet and it lives up to that. Only way I can tell if it’s still running is the red light on the bottom right. It is also advertised as working well on stuck on food. It has also worked very well there too the satisfaction of the real critic of the last dishwasher. The third row flatware rack is a nice feature.

So far, we really like our new dishwasher. It's very quiet and it does an excellent job of cleaning our dishes. I have mixed feelings about the lowest rack. I don't mind having the silverware and utensils on the very top, but by not using the basket that comes with the dishwasher for the silverware, we're left with a big, awkward space in the bottom rack. If we use the basket, we're left with a very top rack that doesn't hold much because it's very shallow. I don't want to take off a full star for that, but it's definitely a design flaw that Bosch should consider in future models.

First off, we love Bosch! We had a 500 series that lasted for 10 years, and would probably had gone more if our main pressure regulator hadn't given out. This unit is even more quiet than the last! It does a beautiful job on the dishes. The fingerprint proof surface is exceptional! What we don't like: -No physical "Half Load" mode. You have to connect to an app in order to access that mode. -Interior is much tighter, and not as many dishes can be loaded.

This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned! It is so quiet that I don't know it's on! I love it!

The dishwasher is nice and quiet and works well, however the touch buttons are sensitive, not a fan, but they work. Also, a silly thing, if you press the wrong wash cycle and start the process, you CANNOT change it, even if you shut the power off, it HAS TO finish that (wrong) wash cycle, even if you didn't actually let the unit start. I also don't like the 3rd/top shelf, we found out the hard way after several months of owning it, that its height doesn't allow you to wash wine glasses, they are too tall. Funny thing is it has special brackets to hold wine glasses... that don't fit! LOL! Seriously, how did they miss that in testing. Cleans my dishes well, and very quiet!

So quiet you can't hear it running. Very easy to use and cleans well. The built in Wi-fi is a nice feature and the app is very convenient. So far very pleased with this purchase. Time will tell how durable and reliable it will be.

As a long time Bosch dishwasher owner I was excited to purchase an 800 series when we moved into our new home. Unfortunately the excitement waned quickly. In my opinion it isn’t as user friendly as my older model. It seems that all manufacturers would rather you use an app to control their products than just pushing a button. The control is clumsy and over sensitive. Difficult to switch modes, unnecessary complicated. The other issue I have is that the inside of the washer never completely dries. It’s always wet. The old model was completely dry when the cycle ended. It can’t be good that it’s always wet. It does clean the dishes well and the third rack is a nice feature. It comes with a conventional flatware basket but there’s no designated place for it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Wow. I had no idea how badly my old Kitchenaid dishwasher was preforming until I started using our new Bosch dishwasher. Yes, this is incredibly quiet and you do actually need the light shining on the floor to know if it is running, but that is secondary to how amazingly clean the dishes are now. No more cloudy glassware! And the drying is fantastic. If you load things on an angle, everything will be dry. If you load them flat, things like Tupperware will still have pools on it, but loaded at an angle so the water does not pool, they will all be dry as can be. I cannot recommend this enough.

This Bosch 800 has many desirable features ( is almost silent, red light displayed on floor when running, cleans dishes well),,,but it does not dry well as expected, especially on the one hour cycle and the small silverware basket is inadequate (even with the 3rd row rack...which NEVER gets dried). I don't understand why at this price and lower, we cant have a more powerful heating element, instead of adding drying minerals and/or drying rinse aids to the water, which can leave a film on the dishes. The customer service at Best Buy has been exceptional but the dish washer industry seems less concerned with customer satisfaction.

This is a great dishwasher and works well. however, be prepared that you will need to purchase a clean/dirty indicator telling you they are clean. this is a big downside to these Bosch dishwashers, but they can't be beat with performance and a quiet wash. they do have a red indicator light that shows on the floor when it's working, and it doesn't show up when it's done, but that is not enough to show your family if you washed it at night and NOT to put their peanut butter knives in the clean dishwasher! lol, just get the magnetized slide with no circular stickies, and read the reviews. We love our indicator even though it should be an automatic thing. are you listening Bosch?

Best dishwasher for the money. The dishwasher is very quiet and dishes come clean and try. The only issue I am having is with Home Connect as regardless of what I do, I keep losing connection. I am still working with bosch to find a solution.

We owned a Bosch dishwasher in the past and it was nice, so when we needed to replace our dishwasher in another home we turned to Bosch again. WHAT A MISTAKE. After MULTIPLE alarms (E00, E34) and not finishing the wash cycle, beeping in the middle of the night and having to reset the machine, we called the warranty and they sent a tech to evaluate the problem. The first solution was the water supply valve needed to be opened more. This was not the solution and we continued having to reset the machine for the same error codes. The second trip was because the internal water valve malfunctioned, wouldn't stop the water from running in the dishwasher and leaked water on the kitchen floor causing water damage to the adjacent cabinet. The solution was to replace a valve in the dishwasher so one week later (can't use the dishwasher) we have a new water valve in the dishwasher, that didn't fix it because not it trips the circuit breaker. Now they are replacing the main board and we hope that fixes it (still can't use the dishwasher). This isn't go out to the truck and get the valve, this is I have to order the valve and will be back next week. Then it's, hmmm, must be the main board and we'll order it and be back in another week. After spending $1300 you expect a quality product that will run flawlessly for years and this IS NOT. We can't get this dishwasher to run a month without some error code disrupting the wash cycle. We are completely disappointed with this purchase and feel like we have a problem machine that will need repairs in the future. Based on our experience we can't recommend purchasing. NOTE: When it does run, it's quiet and works nicely but the problem is it doesn't run consistently.

The Bosch 800 Series 24" Dishwasher is great! We bought it to replace our previous Bosch (purchased in 2012). Aside from 3 cancelled delivery/installation appointments because it failed to arrive at the promised time, the entire purchase/delivery/installation process was went well. The hold-up was due to our wanting the black finish. Apparently most people get stainless steel. This machine is even quieter than our previous Bosch. We love the third rack. While some reviewers have commented on the unpleasant odor (to them) caused by the Zeolith crystals used in the drying process, it seems to be only a mild odor to us. Overall, we love it and would buy it again.

Love it. Replaces a 30 year old Jenn Air, which was still working fine. Very quiet, seems to hold more dishes than our old machine. Never thought we would use the "flexible" second shelf but the second time we used the machine that option came into play and worked perfectly. Still playing with the multiple wash and dry options available. Not sure which we will use most but leaning toward the 60 minute cycle without choosing a separate "dry" mode. More wash and dry cycles available than we will ever use.

Excellent reliable washer. Very quiet. Absolutly no problem cleaning or drying unless water puddles in a right side up cup. Nice stainless steel construction. No problem with heat. Bosch Home Connect/wifi, floor time light are some of the features that have been more useful than expected. Considering Bosch for all future appliance needs.

This Bosh, is better then the previous Bosh models I've had in terms of cleaning, noise, and the energy efficient drying.

This is our second BOSCH 800 Series Dishwasher. Love it that its so silent when doing its work. It has red light indicator to show its on and working otherwise you will never know its running. Dishes comes clean and shiny don't forget the rinse agent. Do Install the app on your smart phone and follow instruction to keep it going. You will love this little machine.

You know that feeling when you put off getting new glasses, thinking you're fine, then you finally get new ones and think "how was I seeing at all with my old glasses"? This is the dishwasher equivalent of that. The extra money towards this 800 series is worth it. The Crystal Dry feature is awesome. Everything comes out spotless, clean, and dry. And you can barely hear it. Highly recommend.
