I always like Bosch products and this stovetop was exactly what we needed. Solid performer and good looking too!

This cook top looks amazing, is easy to clean and cooks much faster than any other one I've ever had.

Our new stainless steel Bosch 800 Series 30" Built-In Gas Cooktop looks good and offers excellent heat control from high to simmer. The red ON-light is a good safety feature especially when low simmer settings make it difficult to notice the flame. The installation instructions were good with a few exceptions. First, the depth of the unit below counter tops is very difficult to discern from the published diagrams. Question: Is the bottom 3 13/16” from the top or bottom of the above-counter stainless? Answer: It’s from the bottom. The unit hangs down 3 13/16” from the top of the counter. This is very important when installing a built-in oven below the cooktop. The gas connection is the second problem. Bosch’s installation instructions assume there is NO under counter wall oven below the cooktop as in my case. Bosch assumes the gas pressure regulator will hang down below the cooktop. They fail to detail how a cooktop is to be mounted over an under-counter Bosch oven. I had to figure out on my own that a 90º black pipe elbow is required in order to mount the pressure regulator off to the side in an adjacent cabinet void. Bosch also failed to identify the pipe size coming out of the cooktop’s bottom. FYI - A 3/8-in diameter 90-Degree Black Iron Elbow Fitting is required. It wasn’t until I had both the oven and cooktop out of the box that I could calculate how the two units would fit together.

I've had this for a few weeks now. I love it. I love having 3 options for BTU availability to cook with. The 5th burner is great! This is so much easier to clean than my old glass top gas range, with ceramic burner plates. I love that it has a light indicating that it is on, so no accidentally leaving a burner on low when you think it is off.

This cooktop has five burners with 3 large burners. It looks very good and hence we bought it. I was expecting it to be efficient and make cooking much faster but to even boil water in a pot it takes a lot of time. Since the knobs are in the front/center, cooking on the front burner becomes a bit difficult as the utensils cover the knobs. The grill on the burners is not that well designed. This cooktop costs more than $800, and it does not justify the price.

I read some of the previous reviews regarding this item (both good and not so good), and I'm glad we decided to purchase it. The burners are very effective, and we have not experienced any of the discoloration of the pans as it other reviews. The cooktop looks great on our countertop, and the grates are solid, and well positioned. Based on those previous reviews, we purchased the extended warranty, which will give us the peace of mind against any issues, which was a reasonable cost for a 3 year extended warranty.

This cooktop is sleek and looks great. The control knobs are well placed and there is really great control of the heat level.

This Bosch gas cooktop is super nice looking and works great. We love it.

We bought this one a week ago. it has a very good performance, BUT the stainless steel became burn on some spot as a result. For the price we paid we could buy a better quality finishing than Bosch, specially Bosch customer service will blame us on the issue for one week compare to other companies as more helpful. You can not have an expensive one with problem in one week

The cooktop is a great top easy to clean. The burners are laid out great so you can use several size pots or skillets at the same time. We like the different burners the one for simmering and then the turbo burner will boil water fast.

Haven't found any negatives for this cooktop. Easy to clean, looks sleek and cranks out the heat!

Love the way it looks and performs. Having five burners in a 30 inch cook top is impressive.

We loved the Black finish and feel that it is very easy to clean. The only negative is the lettering is a white paint which makes the unit look less expensive than it is. Hoping that this will not start to fade after many cleanings. Overall love the product and feel this was a great purchase.

The grate system makes the whole top surface usable. No need to keep the pot exactly centered on burner. Amazing versatility for the space.

Love the look of this cooktop - a cross between Modern and Industrial. Knobs turn smoothly and flame size is very easy adjust.

Easy to use and clean! This stainless steel Bosch cooktop matches well with my other appliances, and looks great in my newly remodeled kitchen.

I purchased this to replace an old electric cooktop and I'm glad I did. I enjoy using this gas cooktop. My concern was a lot of the grids on other cooktop got bad reviews because they sat too high over the flame and wouldn't boil water quickly. This is not the case with this cooktop. Very pleased with this purchase.

No problems so far- burners are working well- cleanup does not sem to be a problem.
