I've been using it about 4 months now. Prior to getting an induction cooktop to try it out (with pots and pans and just in general), that test went well so we ordered the cooktop. There are a lot of things I like about this.
1) Speed - it really does great water up MUCH quicker than typical electric stove. Multiple burners can use the "speed boost" but in practice, I don't know if anyone that needs to boil lots of water that quickly even if it didn't allow for it.
2) Easy of cooking - you are able to get just the right temp to make cooking easier. An example, cooking noodles. Once I boil the water and add noodles, I can set it to 7.5 (out of 10) and that's just right to not boil over AND not get noodles to stick to the pot (literally don't have to stir as the boil is gentle enough to lift the pasta and not stick). I've also low simmered borracho beans for several hours which cooked great.
3) Count up timer - shockingly useful
4) Compatibility - It only required a 30A breaker which is what my house (built in 1985) had. There are a lot of options at higher amps, but this was the best quality 30A induction cooktop I found in my research and I have not been disappointed!

Works great with pans that are good on an induction top. Stainless cookware with a nice thicker bottom heat evenly, quickly, and sustain heat really well. Thin bottom pans and non stainless pans don't seem to do as well. But I really like the way it cooks, and the extra functions like joining the two left burners and the flex move options are really nice to have. Hopefully it holds up as long as the one from the 80s it replaced.
It cleans up really easily too, which is nice. Controls took a little adjusting to, but now that I'm used to them I like them.
