Customers are saying

Customers recognize the dishwasher's exceptional cleaning performance and remarkably quiet operation as significant strengths. Many appreciate its ample capacity, making it suitable for larger loads, and find it easy to use and install. However, some users note limitations with the rack design, particularly for larger items, and express concerns about the drying cycle. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning and noise levels outweighs the negative comments regarding the rack and drying.

    Cycles too long

The dishwasher is very, very quiet and does a great job cleaning. My only complaint is that I didn't check for one important feature - a quick wash cycle :-( When I'm entertaining, sometimes I need to run a quick 1/2 hour wash and the shortest cycle on this dishwasher is a full 90 minutes! Shocking! It's supposed to be energy efficient so I'm hoping my PG&E bill reflects that. Apparently, there is another model that has a shorter cycle but the salesperson didn't mention that. I didn't discover this feature was missing until the dishwasher was already installed.

    AWESOME DISHWASHER

My wife and I purchased this dishwasher this past weekend and it came today and was installed. We searched many different places, and ultimately decided on this model at Best Buy after reading the great reviews. Best Buy price matched a competitor and we got it almost $100 cheaper. We brought our own dishes to the store and found this unit fit our dishes perfectly. A couple other models we were looking at did not hold our dishes very well. I would recommend doing the same. 1st off, it looks great and I love the stainless steel look. The controls are hidden and there is no branding whatsoever on the outside of the device, which is a plus. I decided to give it a test before my wife came home from work. Since our last dishwasher died (11 year old Kitchenaid), the dishes have been piling up this past week. I put in a bowl that had hard dried spaghetti sauce on it that if you washed it by hand, you'd need a good scrubber, as well as some other plates that I did not rinse beforehand. Bosch recommends using Finish so I used Finish Quantum and Jet Dry Turbo Dry. When it started running, the 1st thing I noticed is that it's pretty quiet. I live in an open floor plan home where my kitchen and living room are connected and I could watch TV 10-15ft. away with it on no problem. The added light to let you know it's on is a nice added bonus. I put it on Half Load, didn't even use the Sanitation option and the dishes and glasses came out amazing and spotless. The wash itself took about almost 2 hours, and looks to be the case for most wash options. Some have mentioned that the dishwasher doesn't get your dishes entirely dry, but I did not experience that at all. I like the fact that it does not have a heating element to dry the dishes, and instead uses super heated water and the heat from the dishes themselves to promote drying. My only gripe (and it's a small one) is that there is a built in filter in the bottom of the unit that needs dumping after each load if there are large food particles. My 11 year old Kitchenaid didn't have that. All in all, this dishwasher seems to be the real deal and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new dishwasher.

The dishwasher met expectations. The installation was not up to par. Hooked up and was told defective. Made another appointment. This itself was hard to do and after mych confusion at Best Buy the competent installer found the unit not correctly wired in. Nothing wrong with dishwasher. Installed incorrectly. The phone people gave incorrect info about removing the new unit. If it was removed it would have flooded the wood floored kitchen. Incompetent installer and phone people.

Probably the best dish washer I've ever owned. Quiet doesnt leave soap residue on dishes like other dishwashers I have had in the past have done. Is extremely quiet clean, I like the tong layout also I feel I am able to get larger loads done than my previous washer and It cleans better and when they come out they are very hot and dry maybe one or two small water droplets but overall very good washer I am very happy with my decision to buy this washer and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing it.

My husband and I purchased this dishwasher to go in our new home, and couldn't be more thrilled with it. Our dishes come out beautiful every time (though we do use finish products as recommended-there are coupons at the finish website which makes the price competitive when stacked with an in-store sale). It's very quiet. My only complaint is the beeping which signals when the loads done. If we run the dishwasher before going to bed it will wake us up with the beeping. There might be a way to turn that off, but we haven't found it yet. Overall, excellent product.

We bought this to replace a less expensive dishwasher that was noisy, did not get the dishes clean/left a film even when using a rinse agent and had a seal that occasionally leaked water onto the hardwood floors. We decided to pay a little more this time and buy based on the ratings. We have been using it daily for several weeks and it is very quiet and gets the dishes clean with no spots. We use the auto sense cycle which will determine how dirty the dishes are and adjust the length of the cycle accordingly. We have used the time-delay feature but it is so quiet when it runs that I will run it when we are in the kitchen. So far I don't see any negatives to this dishwasher and would highly recommend it. The stainless steel finish is easy to keep clean. There is a stainless steel polish that you can buy that works well. We have not tried the feature that allows for oversize dishes to be washed but I would expect that to work well.

    Great dishwasher from BOSCH

We purchased another dishwasher on sale before buying this model, and unfortunately that brand/model didn't hold our heavy, large plates and bowls properly. We returned that model and tried our dishes in this BOSCH right in the store, and it holds them perfectly. The unit is very quiet, well built, and seems to be cleaning the dishes very well. Highly recommended!

Thank you prior reviewers! You convinced me to invest in this dishwasher, and it is absolutely a winner!! I can't compare it to an LG but relative to my 10 year old GE Monogram dishwasher which cost a LOT more, this one is hands down the winner! One reviewer mentioned having had a dish with dried on egg that cleaned beautifully. I had a spatula with dried on egg, and although I was amazed at how clean it was, there were still a few tiny places where egg reside remained. But, to be fair, I had it set on the auto cycle and maybe I should have selected the heavy cycle. The next time I had dishes with equally tough foods that had baked on, I put them in the dishwasher and selected the heavy cycle. The dishes were so beautifully clean, I practically cried except i didn't want to run them through the dishwasher again by crying on them. My only gripe might be in the desighn of the bottom rack. It is not conveniently designed or organized. Depending on the dishes you need to wash, the rack can be super efficient (i.e. lots of plates that are not overly large, bowls, etc.) But add some large plates, a couple of pots, and the space utilization is pretty poor. Even so, don't hesitate to buy this - it is amazingly good! The only reason I might hold off on purchasing this is if you can wait until they offer free delivery AND free installation! Good luck and hope you enjoy this as mucha s I enjoyed mine!!

My unit was delivered by a couple of good Bestbuy guys at around 10am on a Saturday morning and by 2:00pm that same day I had her up and running. My family had gone without a dishwasher since our contractor grade washer gave out after a couple of years. We have been hand washing ever since and didnt think we were missing out on much. Boy was i wrong....As the other reviewers have stated this unit is just simply a quality product.. It quietly cleans. What more could you ask for from a dishwasher? Ive a actually put it to the test by leaving dishes overly dirty and they all come out perfect every time. We've had it for over a month now and i honestly cannot think of a single knock on the machine. I cannot imagine how a pricier unit could do a better job than the Bosch 300 Series has for my family.

This should be the minimum Bosch you should buy

I originally purchased SHE3AR75UC to replace my 10 year old Bosch dishwasher. My old Bosch dishwasher was a workhorse...4 kids and lots of holidays, on well water. When it was losing its mojo, I naturally went to another Bosch. However, the SHE3AR75UC model was not as quiet and had too much plastic (fake stainless steel on control panel and plastic floor inside) for my taste. I returned it with no issues from Best Buy and bought the unit I am reviewing now. It rocks. As quiet as my original one and looks fantastic. Controls are simple. All I recommend for you to do is to follow the instructions, and turn off the stupid peeping that comes pre-programmed, telling you the wash is complete. I have had it for several weeks now and am completely satisfied. Bosch is the best for dishwashers. You get what you pay for. If you run it once a day for ten years (3650 times), you are only talking pennies extra per wash than a "bargain" brand. Do the math. Be happy. I noticed if all you dishware is the same style/type, it loads better. If it is a hodge podge of hand me downs, it will load not as well. Just a heads up. Best Buy was offering free installation on the Bosch dishwater when I bought it, so if they offer it again, grab this model or higher and you will be happy.

After extensive time on Consumer Reports this Bosche was clearly the best dishwasher for the $. We bought and it's lived up to its reputation... extremely quiet, holds all our dishes and washes better than any dishwasher we've owned.

I am so happy with my decision to purchase this dishwasher! I previously purchased a Viking washer and after about 18 months it stopped working altogether. I was so angry about all of the money I lost that I was very hesitant to buy another washer. I did a ton of research, which led me right to Bosch. This washer looks great, it's very quiet, efficient, and most of all it does an outstanding job on my dishes! I highly recommend this dishwasher!

After breaking the handle on our 7-year-old dishwasheer and not wanting to get it fixed, it was time to look for a new one. I searched online and went to a few stores to check out the Bosch. I originally wanted the Ascenta Series, but a rep from another store pointed me in the right direction for the next level up resulting in me purchasing the 300 Series. Better overall quality and stainless steel throughout. Best Buy had a sale going on, a discount, and free install on some Bosch products (about a $130 value) and I could not beat the price anywhere else, so it turned out to be a great deal! The dishwasher is ultra quiet and you can hardly tell it's running. I've been using the Finish Power Tabs which are recommended by Bosch along with the Finish Jet Dry, and only once so far in a few months have I had a need to rerun the load because of an undisolved Power Tab. The dishes and especially the glasses come out perfect! You'll have to get used to a new loading system inside and I think you lose space (as compared to my old machine). The prongs are very close to each other and if your plates are thick ceramic, they might not work in this machine. I have Corelle which are prefect. Some of the prongs fold down for pots and pans, but I do not find it to help much with the amount of space. The untensil holder is huge and takes a lot of space on one side of the bottom shelf. The upper shelf is adjustable. Some people have mentioned the end of service beep to be annoying, but it can be disabled. I highly recommend this dishwasher for your needs!

We did our research on dishwashers and kept coming back to this one. It is very stylish looking, matches our other stainless appliances and is very quiet! With regard to other posters mentioning the space between the racks being too small for bigger plates, we have not found that to be a problem at all. We use very thick plates and they fit in the bottom rack nicely. This dishwasher has lots of room for everything. We're very happy with our purchase!

Really think it cleans nice the features are nice with the sanitize cycle My complaints: 1. If you have larger dishes pots, pans, platters... they do not fit in well has an odd lay out though it is great for everyday dishes. 2. Even the shortest cycles take a long time to clean. 3. Have not figured out the Rinse aid adjustment setting that works best yet.

This dishwasher is great!!! Quiet, efficeint, dries best when the sanitize option is used. Very quiet and the light at the bottom is needed to tell when it is on. It cleans (as a dishwasher is supposed to) and adds beauty to your kitchen. I love it!!!

Dishwasher has an on/off switch, which I don't why it is needed. Dishwasher also beeps at end of cycle. This feature can be turned off however. I liked how the dishwasher has top and side mounting brackets-- more options on securing the appliance in its spot. Dishwasher has a red light that shines on floor when it is running-- nice feature.

Most quiet dishwasher I've ever owned. So quiet that Bosch added a red light that shines on floor below to let you know it's on. This confused the heck out of us at first until we figured it out. Adding rinsing agent is a must; dishes come out clean and shiny even without a drying cycle.
