While it doesn’t quite offer best in class sound, the Bose SoundTouch 300 and Acoustimass 300 combo stands as one of the better options in the circa $1,500 soundbar category thanks to its huge, wrap-around soundfield, generous output capabilities, and beautifully-finished casework. At the exact same price as separate components or a combo, the Sonos PLAYBAR and SUB are great alternatives to the Bose and are enthusiastic recommendations at the price. Sound quality is noticeably smoother, warmer and more refined, and the SUB’s bass quality in particular is nearly beyond reproach. However, the Bose includes a universal remote, has greater input flexibility, and includes DTS decoding. If you’re shopping for a huge-sounding, easy-to-use soundbar and subwoofer combo with high output capabilities and excellent aesthetics, the Bose SoundTouch 300 and Acoustimass 300 are worth a serious audition.

This bass unit has crisp deep lows that fill the room, and you can feel it pass through you. I bought the sound bar first, and it was amazing, but lacked that punch you feel in modern theaters. After buying this bass unit, and following it up with the rear channel speakers, the movie nights at my house went from “pretty cool”, to a new level of awesome! The system is so loud I can enjoy crisp a soundfield or wake the neighbors without signal distortion. And coming from a picky guy like me, that is saying a lot.

This is a great bass module. Definitely not the cheapest but the quality is well worth the price. We are very happy.

I've owned Bose Surround for years, hard wired in my Dallas home. Nothing can come close to the incredible sound Bose produces. Sounds are clear, precise, and fully heard with this system. The Bose Accoustimass bass module comes close, very close, to matching the surround system. It has rich, deep bass sound and duplicates the original movie track perfectly. If I have a complaint, it's relatively minor -- there's a noticeable rumble that can be irritating when the volume is a bit high. Currently the bass module is sitting next to the tv but moving it across the room may solve that issue. Other than that, this is genuine unmatched Bose sound.

Deep bass. Easy to pair with the sound bar. A little pricey but worth it.

When I seen the demo in Store, I'm impressed with the Bass output. This adds a great output to my Bose Soundbar.Configuring is pretty simple. Though there is no user interface to configure through the remote, but that should be negligible. Watching a 5.1 Channel movie with Bose Sountouch 300 with this soundbar.. it is an awesome experience.

The sub really compliments the SoundBar 300 with great low end. Sounds great with movies and music. Hook up was really simple. Only reason a 4 star is the price. At 599.99 (Priced Matched) it is an expensive 10" subwoofer. I think it sounds a lot better and deeper than the SONOS Sub. Almost a must have with the SoundBar 300 to get the best overall sound.

I purchased two of these wireless subwoofers to pair with the SoundTouch 300 sound bar since it officially supports up to two subwoofers, and it has brought the bass experience to a whole new level. I had some dead spots in the room with my previous single subwoofer system (Sonos) where the bass was almost non-existent, but now with two of these the dead spots are gone. These also reach a noticably lower frequency than my previous subwoofer. I can feel it in the floor now for the first time. The glass top adds a nice touch to the design, and the unit is fairly compact.

I bought this subwoofer to supplement my Bose soundbar and what a difference it makes. It's what you'd come to expect from equipment with the Bose name on it...quality sound. I'd recommend warning your neighbors if you're going to turn it up. :) It pounds!

I paired this unit with the 300 sound bar and I couldn't be happier. It was quite expensive compared to other units on the market, but far superior to those units. Well worth the price and I am very happy with it.
