I bought it all. The sound bar, sub woofer and rear surround sound speakers. The sound bar sounded great and so did the rear speakers. I’d only had it one day and noticed a popping noise coming from the sub. It sounded like a balloon popping underwater. It happened watching Netflix and listening to music. It wasn’t blown and apparently I’m not the first person to experience this issue. For $699.99, it shouldn’t pop watching Schitt’s Creek.
You cannot control the volume of the system with your Apple TV remote. The Bose remote is a foot long and really confusing. They really want you to use this remote for everything.
The sound system is app-driven. I’m pretty good tech-wise, so this wasn’t a huge setback for me. But with a remote that’s a foot long and with a million buttons, you should be able to adjust the base and treble on the remote.
The set up was fairly easy if you’re somewhat tech savvy. Every aspect of the system is app-based. If you want to tweak any aspect of the sound, you must use the app on your phone. Bose should’ve left room on that enormous remote for tweaking the sound.
I used Alexa once. I have Apple TV, so I didn’t need that, but it was pretty cool. If you use Apple TV for all of your streaming, you may find it annoying that you need a foot long remote just for volume. You cannot control the volume with the Apple TV remote. Bose is aware that Apple TV users are irritated by this and don’t really seem to care.
I kept this system for about a week and a half. I’m getting the Sonos Arc whenever they have more in stock at Best Buy.

Sounds amazing!!! Love that it’s connects wirelessly to the Bose 700 soundbar. It was so easy to connect via the Bose Music app. Both the soundbar and bass module are configured via the app which has been working flawlessly.

The module itself is wonderful. I purchased an open box - display unit. I didn't really check the item until I got home. It started rattling once I had it working. I then saw that the rubber foot was missing. I fixed it myself. Other than that the unit is wonderful Strong moving bass with whatever I am watching. Makes the whole experience wonderful.

Movies and music sound terrific. The fact that you can control the amount of bass through the Bose app makes this subwoofer perfect for any size room. I’ve tried the LG, Samsung, Vizeo sound-bars and subs. Nothing comes close to the sound Bose puts out.

This Bose Bass Module 700 is excellent especially with action movies. I already have one, but decided to get a second one to enhance my movie experience even more. I am certainly not disappointed!

Outstanding sound, with deep resonance!
Finding anyone at Best Buy, that could help me get it to sync up to my soundbar, would have been nice, but, not to worry, after 3 weeks, my son finally got it to sync!!! I love my home theater now
