This speaker not only sounds amazing, but also has either the "Alexa" or "Okay Google" options available, and hooks up directly to your Wifi. Durable, loud, and easily portable to the pool, beach or cookout. I'm tempted to get a second one since they pair together for surround sound!

Bose quality has never disappointed over the last 30 years of purchases.
It’s expensive and it’s quality made and sounds good for a portable speaker. Gets really loud if you need it too but sounds warmer and richer at low to mid volume.
Sounds better than my other Bose portable Bluetooth speaker, sound link 3. That one has been working well for years and still is, I expect the same from this new portable speaker.

I love this thing! Its sound is great, it's portable and the charge lasts a long time. I don't use the Bose app or try to connect other devices like Alexa, I just use it to Bluetooth to my phone and play music on the fly. Love it!

I was in an indulgent mood when eyeing the Bosch line-up and so plumped for the one with the handle. I planned to use it in different rooms of my house. I didn’t not want to envisage it slipping from my grip (carrying too much stuff as per) and having the whole kit & caboodle smash to my tiled floor. So to me the extra for the handle was well worth it. And design-wise, what a simple yet clever idea!
Tuned into my Blues music, this Bosch is just lovely. It gets me through dull chores, odious work and tiresome tasks. Yes, it was expensive but it is worth the money. And besides, I’m worth the indulgence! Indulge yourself, get one and you will be happy that you did. Oh, and I love the way that if stopped for a while, it will announce that it is disconnecting from my iPhone and turning itself off. So thoughtful!

Unlike most bluetooth speakers, this one has Alexa built right in so I can pick it up and take it anywhere in the house and it responds to commands to play music, tell me the weather, announce my ring alerts, etc. A bit pricey but super convenient. It also connects to bluetooth if I take it out of my network. Battery lasts a long long time. I also got the charger base so I just rest it on the base to charge instead of messing with cables. And its well known Bose sound quality.

This speaker produces nice sound which Bose is known for. The AirPlay 2 compatibility sets this unit apart and gives it extra versatility. Overall very happy product owner.

To preface this review, I've left 2 other reviews on the Bose Smart Speaker 500 and Bose Soundlink Revolve+ II which I will be referencing from. Initially, I bought the Smart Speaker 500 and was a little shaky as to whether or not it was worth the money. In the end, I'm very satisfied with the 500 but the same cannot be said about the Revolve+ II. I shredded the Revolve+ II in a review, and returned it. However, I decided to give Bose another shot at redemption and bought the Portable Smart Speaker. This speaker is the much better option of the 2. Each Bose speaker I've owned had its positives and negatives, but this one doesn't really have many negatives. To start with, this speaker is supported by the Bose App. This is such a blessing and one of those "you don't realize what you have until it's gone" sort of deals. The Revolve+ II does not and I believe this to be the biggest game changer between the Revolve+ II and the Portable Smart Speaker. Well that and the added bass modules in the top of the speaker are what truly make this a *chef's kiss* masterpiece. My main complaint with the Revolve is that I didn't feel like it had the signature "Bose touch" that every other speaker or pair of headphones they make have. With the Portable Smart Speaker, it definitely has that midas touch, if you will. There's not really much to say about the audio quality other than it's phenomenal, as Bose products usually are. Thumping bass if you want it, clear mids, and a crisp treble really top this off as one of the best speakers on the market.
However, there are a couple shortcomings. First off, the battery life isn't great but it'll do. If there's one thing you trade off for superior audio quality, it's battery life. Most speakers boast a 16 - 18 hour battery life with some even going up to 24+. The Portable Smart Speaker comes with a 12 hour battery life, that I haven't personally tested. But from what I can tell, it's pretty close to 12 hours which isn't bad but it's not great. Second, and this is probably the big one, it still suffers to its design. That was a main complaint from the Revolve was that I felt like the 360° audio was a gimmick rather than a selling point. With the Portable Smart Speaker, it's not nearly as bad but there is a bit of audio degradation. Again it's a trade off for consistent audio quality from any direction rather than amazing audio quality in just one direction. But with the way you can customize the settings in the app, it's not something driving me away from the speaker. Another downside is the "grouping" feature through the app. I've found that grouping them in the app causes them to lose connection with each other every couple minutes or so. Which is not what I'm looking for in 2 $400 speakers (Bose Smart Speaker 500 and Bose Portable Smart Speaker). I have found a work around thru connecting them via Airplay. That causes no problems so that tells me it's an app connectivity issue and not a speaker issue. My final "problem" with the speaker is that it's considerably more expensive than the Revolve. It's even more expensive than the Bose Smart Speaker 500, and I feel like the Smart Speaker 500 has better audio quality. However it's only $30 more from the 500 but $70 more than the Revolve. I'm not saying it's too overpriced, overpriced yes but not too overpriced. I guess this is more of a rip on the Revolve than the Portable Smart Speaker. It almost felt insulting that something only $70 less is considerably and much worse. It's like going to the movies and the small popcorn is $5 and the large is $15 but the medium is $13. It feels like a marketing technique to get me to upgrade to the better speaker for less of a price difference than it should be.
Overall though, this is an all around amazing speaker. Extraordinary sound quality with ease of use brought to you by Bose. If you're thinking about picking this bad boy up, please do. You'll thank yourself later.

This is a great speaker. Sound fills the room. Bass is excellent. All this in a small portable speaker. It may be costly but we’ll worth it if you appreciate great sound.

Really like the sound…but I’ve had some problems charging it. It is coming upon warranty expiring but I’m holding off to see if maybe just keeping it plugged in works better. I typically just use for outside the house. I previously had a Bose Color speaker that I enjoyed until charging connection became issue.

Amazing sound, decent bass. I love the fact you can adjust the bass using the app. Extremely easy to use/set up and fills a large living room with 360 degree sound. Couldnt be happier.

This is a very nice speaker for its size. Very handy. Tons of after market case and such for it.
I am particular about having clear vocals, crisp sound with balanced base. This speaker will not rival something like B&W floor standing speakers but is very good at doing what it is designed for. I compared it to many other small speakers and I went with this one. I also purchased a Bose S1 Bluetooth cordless speaker. If you are willing to have a larger unit and spend 250.00 more you should check it out. But short of that this is my selection as best available for the size, portability and sound. I liked it well enough that even with the Bose S1 I also went for this speaker.

I'm happy with the Bose - Portable Smart Speaker with built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, Google Assistant and Alexa Voice Control - the deal I got from the Best Buy . I wanted a good sound quality that did the basics, and the site recommended one that smart and easy way to find with excellent client attention . Speaking with the service team helped me get exactly what I was looking for.

Sound quality is impressive but bass can be better.Bit expensive compare to many other speakers which are available almost one third price of this with nearly similar sound effect .Other than that ,it’s good product to be happy with it.
