After seeing the price tag on these Bose noise cancelling headphones, I seriously considered not spending he $. After using them on a few flights, they are well worth the $. If you frequent air travel, these noise cancelling headphones are recommended.

Love the idea that it is cordless, can use it anywhere and not have a cord hanging from it

I bought these for my daughter to use at college. They work very well. Like all noise cancellation devices, they work best on continuous background noise, and less well on varying sounds. So they work best for things like engine noise in an airplane, and less well for spoken words. She likes them a lot, and uses them often when studying. Like most Bose products, they are overpriced. That's why only 4 stars.

Have only used for two short times. Leaving for a 12 hour overseas flight in a couple of days. Will have more of a opinion after trip.

I purchased these noise cancelling headphones mainly for doing my classes online, working in an office with 4 other people I needed to be able to disconnect with that noise, they also sound amazing with music and put you in the action!

Purchased these on special to replace previous original headphones which were 10 years old. Bose noise cancelling are excellent and top of the line in performance and sound. Definitely will purchase another set if and when these wear out!

Substantial reduction of surrounding noise. Purchased for my wife to use during extended hospital stay. Who says hospitals are quiet? The headphones cut out all the surrounding disturbances and enabled her to get much needed rest. Thank you BOSE!

I bought these before my last cross country flight. Sitting in the back of the plane is usually noisy due to the engine noise. With the noise cancellation feature turned on and the awesome Bose speakers, wow.

I replaced my worn out Sennheiser noise canceling headphones with the QC25. I find that for air travel I get to my destination much more rested if I wear these while on the plane. I use them even with no music just to get rid of the low engine noise. They do a decent job of replicating music. I use them with a Bluetooth module that gets rid of all the cables.
