    Most comfortable I've ever owned

This headset is the most comfortable one I have ever owned. I have wasted so much money in the past purchasing headsets that seem soft and cushy to the touch, but ended up hurting my ears. This one does not hurt, it feels great, and also I am very pleased with the sound quality. I do not use this headset for music, so cannot comment on that. I use it for listening to classes that I have recorded or other educational audios. Comfort has been my biggest problem, and this is the answer.

I was a previous Beats owner, and after 2 years it kind of set me off beause they dont sell ear cushions replacement. Once they start wearing off, you are on your own to find a pair on the internet. Back to the Bose QC25, The sound quality is great, really comfortable to wear even with glasses. A little pricy, but if you are willing to spend the cash it´s worth it!

Perfect for the frequent flier. I was doubtful that any headphone could be worth $300. These are. The noise canceling is almost magical. The design is thoughtful. They provide excellent sound quality and work really well as a hands free setup with my iphone. Even the case is designed well with storage for an extra battery. The headphones fold to fit in the case for easy storage. These are a must have for frequent fliers.

Great quality and sound. I tried a pair of Q.C. 15 that a friend has and they sold themselves. Went out the next day and purchased my own. They are a bit pricey, but we'll worth the money for quality headphones. And the noise reduction is incredible. Thumbs up Bose.

This one will be returned also. In about 10 minutes the sound goes off in the right ear phone. This has happened on 2 headsets purchased. Reviews of product reported that. Apparently there is a problem when you fold the right earphone to put in storage case. I thought Bose was supposed to be a quality product.

They are totally awesome, I have owned and bought BOSE speakers for a long time but, never tried out headphones, the sound is great, the noise cancelling works perfectly, You'll get compelltely lost listening to your favorite music, I would have liked they are wireless though that would make them perfect.

Most Expensive, Least Reliable of Nine Bose Items

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

With nine Bose purchases under my belt over the past ten years, I have had great performance and reliability with all of them—except the most expensive one—the QC25. Though I have other Bose and other brands of headphones I use, I bought the QC25s around Christmas 2014 to use specifically in our Las Vegas casinos. My wife and I go the buffets once a week. Afterwards, she plays the slot machines and I try to find a quiet spot in the casino and listen to my iPod. It’s challenging as the machines are noisy, background music is on, and people are talking. So for about 7 hours a month for several months in 2015, I used them there…and they were great, blocking out almost all the background noise. People would even come up to me while I was listening there, tap me on the shoulder, and say, “can you really hear music on those with all the noise going on?” I’d say, “yes, these are Bose!” In the summer of 2015, i noticed the left side giving out on occasion. I thought that was strange. I re-installed the cable as Bose often suggests, but it didn’t help. I did find slightly pushing on the ear cup usually brought the sound back, but sometimes I had to hold them in. This happened only a few more times over the next couple of months, and seemed to disappear, so I figured whatever it was worked itself out. In Fall, my wife got me a pair of Bose SoundTrue Ultra earphones as they are easy to carry around. I found those were easy to take to the casino and were almost as good at isolating, but not canceling, the casino noises, so I used these instead of my QC25s for a few months. After Christmas 2015, however, I took out my QC25s again and upon setting them up to use in the casino, found the left side was completely dead. No matter what I did to try to make it play, it just wouldn’t work. I was very disappointed. I contacted the Bose Outlet Store here in Las Vegas to ask about repairs. The sales rep knew nothing about the QC25 when I talked about its electronics, but said Bose doesn’t do out-of-warranty repairs. He said if they were within warranty, he could help me with an exchange, but basically I was just out of luck. He said Bose Customer Service would tell me the same thing. He also said he heard of this issue I had with these, and Bose did apparently make a fix after the summer of 2015, but I guess never made public the fix. Unfortunately, mine were made in 2014. Just outside the warranty and according to my calculations, less than 70 hours use, I was now out almost $300! They were both the most expensive and least reliable Bose product I’ve purchased. Since the Bose Store said there is nothing they could do, I figured I didn’t want to pay to get this defect fixed, so I gave them to my grandson who likes to tinker with things. He couldn’t get them to work and ended donating them to charity. So, my dilemma is this: I want a noise-canceling headphone set to use in the casinos again, but can’t morally justify paying an additional $300 for a Bose product that performed so poorly with such little use (70 hours is not even three days!) I’m torn between buying another brand, though I don’t like rechargeable batteries some brands use rather than the replaceable AAA batteries Bose uses, or I could wait probably two to three more years and gamble the Bose QC35 will be more reliable. I love Bose comfort but don’t know if I want to wait years for the new model. While I rate all my other Bose products very high, this one is diminished in my eyes by its extremely short life span (less than 70 hours!) I love and use all my other eight Bose products I bought. Bose, I know you can do better than just three full day’s worth of use with this QC25!

I looked online for a good set of headphones since I have just been using Apple earphones for a while and this one seemed to be the best for me. The headphones are costly, but the noise canceling feature is great! The headphones are very comfortable as well. I'm really happy about this purchase. The addition of the case is great as well. It fits the headphones perfectly.

Great for Blocking out Noisy Neighbors!

I live in a Duplex and have Very Noisy neighbors. My stress level was extremely high. I could not relax after a long day at work. Could not even hear my TV over the chaos next door. Was to a point I didn't even want to be home. I first tried the wireless Sony Headphones but they didn't adequately block out the noise so I returned them after 2 days and upgraded to these Bose headphones. They are AMAZING. I can wear them on their own, not plugged into anything, just with the noise cancelling feature on for peace and quiet. Or hook them up to my radio or TV. If you have noisy surroundings making you crazy, then you'll love these headphones! I can't hear any of the noise from next door when I'm wearing them. Only down side was that Best Buy didn't sell the right (female to male) extension cord to hook them up to my TV. But you can get that at Radio Shack or online on Amazon.

I bought these for when I travel and they work as good as I expected. There is a good amount of base and you can not hear any engine noise from an airplane when flying. I would highly recommend these headphones after owning other brands in the past that were not as high quality as these are.

    Noise Cancelling Makes a Difference

When noise cancelling is off, the quality is mediocre. But the noise cancelling makes the biggest difference! The clarity is increased with a satisfying bass. The unit uses 1 AAA battery which will last a few trips.
