Great noise cancelling - slightly improved
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the qc15's and gave them to my mom for her flight so I eventually decided to let her keep those and get a new pair. I purchased the qc25's and I want to say there is a significant improvement on the sound. The highs and lows are more lively and the mids are still clear. On the noise cancellation side, this do offer a slight improvement over the qc15's but not enough to warrant the purchase if you still have one or something similar to the qc15 lying around. I do like that they qc25 can be uses w/o a battery but they do sound much better (amplified) in powered mode. If you are looking for good sound and the best noise cancelling out of there, look no further. If you want reference quality audio then this may not be the canes for you.

Noise cancelling feature still allows you to hear voices just not background noise. Priceless purchase.

Good headphone with a bad cable connector

Sound wise it was ok, not as good as my PSB-M4U headphones, but for trips it has good noise cancelling. The only thing that really stumped me was that the mini-plug jack, which is even smaller than a 3.5mm one has issues connecting properly on the headphone side. This may have been a problem with my individual headphone, but caused me to return the headphone as I was having intermittent disconnects of the cable.

Great sounding Headphones!

It is kinda lame though that all these nice high end headphones you have to use batteries for the noise cancelling feature. Little annoying to have to replace batteries for this. Wish it would just able to do it without that, but I understand it is what it is.
