I love these headphones! They are so easy to use and very comfortable

I have to mention first that the noise cancellation feature of the QuietComfort 35 headphones is outstanding. Just turning them on and wearing without any playing you can really notice the amount of external sound that they eliminate. It's very impressive with little to no feedback or distortion coming from the headphones. I Haven't tried wearing them around anything real loud or while traveling on an airplane yet but I'm positive the will do an amazing job. The other side of the coin though is sound quality. I think in a noisy environment where noise cancellation is more important it wouldn't be as noticeable. In a more quiet environment such as an office you will notice that the sound response seems flat along with weak bass. Turning off the noise cancelling does improve the sound range a bit but they are still sub-par when compared to another brand's wireless headset I own that costs $100 less. I tried with the included cable as well and the sound was similar to Bluetooth with noise cancellation turned off. Some other things that I really like about these are that they are super light and comfortable with plenty of padding. wearing them for hours is not really even noticeable. The controls work well and are nicely laid out. I wish the pause button would be raised higher than the volume buttons that it sits between to make it easier to locate. Bluetooth works well and has a good range. I tested with several devices and had no problems connecting to any of them. I also thought it was a neat feature that when plugging in the audio cable it would disable Bluetooth and then automatically turn on and reconnect when unplugging. Battery life is also very good. Have used several hours at a time with very little battery drain. Included USB cable is very short but most people should have plenty lying around these days if a longer one is needed. I downloaded the Bose Connect app for iOS and tried it out. It is more functional than a lot of other brands app that I have used. I thought it was a neat touch that you could rename your headphone's Bluetooth name. It also provides interactive help guides, as well as, links to Bose.com and others. The only gripe is that it was designed for the phone and using on a tablet you are stuck in portrait mode.

These headphones combine superior noise cancelling with excellent sound all in one package. Pros: Sound Quality - Not much needs to be said other than these headphones stand up to the quality you would expect from Bose. There are rich, full sounds from the highs, mids, and bass that is very pleasing to the ear. Build quality - These headphones are light weight, fold nicely, yet feel plenty sturdy. The carrying case is a very nice touch and I greatly appreciate the cord if your battery life runs out (which it shouldn't because it is phenomenal). Noise cancelling - As the review title suggests, I absolutely LOVE the noise cancelling on these headphones. With the flip of a switch, I can instantly drown out the world around me. Cons: Connectivity - For some reason, it was a super big pain in the butt to connect these headphones to my phone via the Bose Connect app. It could easily be user error, but frustrating none the less. Price - These headphones are definitely on the high-end of the price spectrum. However, if you have the budget for it, they are worth the investment. All in all, I have never been more happy with a set of headphones than I am with these. My only wish is that I could afford another set so I don't have to share it with my wife!

I love these, but you cannot use them like a bose soundsport...
