Got this for my wife and she loves them. Easy to set up and have great sound too. They for sure kill any outside sound.

I had the previous corded ones. These are just as good quality. Sound great and the noise cancelling is fantastic.

I purchased the Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones with great expectation. I take a daily one hour walk while listening to music on my smart phone, varying my route each day. Some of the routes have me walking parallel to main thoroughfares which can be quite noisy. I decided what I needed were some good noise-canceling headphones to eliminate traffic noise. Hence my purchase of these headphones. Pairing the headphones to my smart phone was a no brainer. Upon beginning my first walk with these headphones I was immediately disappointed. I found that if I turned my head to the right just slightly, the sound would stutter and distort quite badly. If I moved my hands to certain parts of my body it would produce the same effect. If I moved by hand over my smart phone or the right ear piece it would completely cut out the sound. I tried moving my phone to different positions on my body with no improvement. When I got home I connected to various forums on the Web to find out if other people had the same issue with these headphones. There were numerous entries regarding this issue. It seems to be a bluetooth problem. I tried re-pairing the headphones with no success. I currently own a pair of bluetooth headphones (Insignia) and have been using them for a long time and have never experienced this problem. I decided to return these headphones and get my money back instead of exchanging them for a different pair. There were too many instances of this problem and I did not want to waste any more time nor effort on this problem. Some final observations. On the positive side these headphones were fantastic on canceling out external noise and they were quite comfortable to wear. On the negative side the above problem plus the sound was flat compared to my Insignia headphones. At this time I cannot recommend these headphones.

Overall the product does what it has been advertised to do. no complaints in what regards to noise cancellation or sound quality. Problem that I've seen is related to the bluetooth drivers that somehow are not fully compatible with the iMac late 2013. When the iMac comes online after being slept, something will happen with the bluetooth driver that disrupts not the connection not only in my bose quierconfirm 35 but also on my trackpad and wirelss mouse. I wrote a couple of emails to Bose support with absolutely no answer. Hmmm, makes me wonder what type of customer support they have. This is my first Bose product and I can say I'm not fully satisfied for a product that costs $350.00 dollars.

I tried all the headsets while in Best Buy which is very noisy and the Bose headphones beat the Beat Studio headphones for noise suppression. They also worked great while mowing my lawn.

I travel a lot on airplanes and I have experimented with just about every in ear device and finally made the decision to go all in and get a decent over the ear headphone. My challenge was I wanted wireless but knowing that airplanes haven't mastered that aspect still needed to be able to hardware into their entertainment systems. Thus I chose the QC35. My only reason for a 4 and not a 5 star, BOSE doesn't supply the cable. I had to go out and get an aftermarket one. It can't be just any cable either the BOSE requires one pin size for the connection of the headphone to the cable and another for the cable to the other sources (in flight entertainment, for example). There is no disputing the sound and quality of BOSE. But it is too bad they can't include a decent cable for those times where wireless isn't the option

I have tried other brands like Jaybird, Beats, but this is the premium of the at this present time.

The reviews don't lie. It won't necessarily block out all sound, but it does a very good job.

Purchased for my 17 year old son. He rates the quality top notch and loves the noise canceling.

Works well. Use it both wireless and with cord. The noise cancelling is well worth the price.

These are by far the best headphones I have ever owned. Noise cancellation is out of this world compared to the many others I have tried and nothing comes close for the money. However, don't expect these to work with Windows 7, there is no driver available for windows to recognize and enable you to use them. Sure, I could plug in the 3.5mm cable, but that's not the point of being wireless... It does work fine with my phone though. Bose is already aware and working on a solution, but that doesn't excuse them from selling a product that isn't fully supported.
