This soundbar 900 produces the phenomenal sound in the segment. My TV is 25' distance and the AdaptIQ headset barely able to reach the couch, however, it tunes wonderfully, I watched YT, Prime, Peacock and other contents and Bose TrueSpace technology works superb! I got the OpenBox excellent which is even cheaper that 700 price, 125 cheaper. Man, the speaker is super heavy, and a true piece of engineering from Bose, solid sturdy, and glass top is elegant! The holes in the Glass make your room filled with Sound Bubble, Dolby Atmos! I am using ARC, not eARC and still can play Dolby Atmos content (You can check which content is playing on TV by going to Bose App and it shows Dolby Atmos, for example, if playing Tomorrow's war in Prime), so yeah, eARC is NOT must to have, ARC can do the job for older TV owners.. As I said, I bought it OpenBox Excellent from Manassas BB outlet, I checked the condition at the store to ensure I am getting the excellent condition piece, it had all needed accessories including brand new Batteries, If I needed, I still could return it (within 60 days I guess), But I am NOT returning this great grab. It's 125 cheaper than 700, made the great deal overall! Now, the Bose APP, it has Dialogue Mode setting, when it's ON, it provides best dialogue speech from TV. Well for Bass, it's more than enough with low thump for my 25' x 30' large living room. Bose greatness truly showers the sound with full details, not missing any beats from contents, I discovered many new sounds from the same songs even I listened those songs 1000s times in non-Bose products!. In Bose App, I tuned with- Dialogue Mode: Off, AdaptIQ: ON, Center channel: 10, Heigh Channel: 90, Bass: 40, Treble: 40. With this tuning, I get the best surround sound even I did NOT hook up any other speakers other than just this beast 900. It is the true power of the Bose that it can sustain and produces best overall sound just with a single Soundbar 900. My couch is touching the wall across the TV, distance at 22-23 feet with recliners, and still can feel the sound is reaching to my left and right! The height channel is strong which I experienced in Prime's Quiet Place 2 movie scene, when creature jumps in to the tunnels/underground, the effects feel that it jumped over from my roof to my living room ha! And in the same movie, in frist 10 min, the dog barks when he shows alien ships entering the earth, that fire ball sounds terrific, and dog barking felt he barks from my kitchen. Yes, My TV facing couch, and the side has openings for Kitchen, thoguh, doesn't deteriorate sound quality when AdaptIQ is ON. Now setting up AdaptIQ, you need to plug the Headphone cable, little ackward position across the power cable, but works for me, sit down at your fav spot on couch, run the IQ technic, which throws some sound on your walls, multiple directions, the AI technology grabs the distance of the wall and your siting position, and then analyze for throwing frequency on the wall off to you!. I went in to buy something different altogether but was blown away by the audio quality of this sound bar. The dialogie, musical notes and bass are perfectly clear and distinctly audible. The Bose app makes day to day usage easy. Setup and connectivity were simple. I have barely used my remote, everything is managed through the app.

the sound is excellent, exactlly what you'd expect from Bose. The connectivity and remote however leave something to be desired. Sometijmes it just shuts off, idk if it has something to do with our directv or what is making it happen. We've also lost the remote so we have to use the app, but only 2 of us have the app. So, if one of us is home without the 2 that have the app and we can't turn it on or it suddenly shuts off (not super often just randomly) then I end up just using the tv remote. our fault for losing the remote but even the remote is somtimes difficult to use too, like it won't turn on or raise or lower correctly. Not sure what the issue was for us.

purchased the sound bar as I appreciate the sound reproduction and clarity generated by the speakers. I have been a Bose fan for many years starting with the Bose mini sound link and loving the sound and deep base notes. the only reason for the 4 is that the 900-sound bar keeps disengaging from its sound source even though it's connected directly via a cable, thank goodness for the Bose help team as they keep me up and running. Still worth the money, time will tell.

Audiophile here. Couldn't believe the sound coming from this thing at the store. I went back and forth between this Bose and the Sonos which both sounded good. The sonos sounded great but the volume maxed out a little early. The Bose was able to produce a higher volume and not distort. Granted this was in the aisle of the store so i figured it may thin out once i got home but this soundbar and the subwoofer completely fills a large room. I was laughing cause i was so amazed.

I had the Bose SB 600 for almost 2 months and was a great sb. But after seeing this go on sale, decided to give it a try. Sounds even better, more clarity, wider soundstage and more bass. Paired it up with 120 watt surround sound speakers and it sounds like I'm in the theater in the comfort of my home. Maybe down the road I'll add the 700 subwoofer. Very pleased with this setup. Have it hooked up to my 77" LG C2 oled. Only complaint is the app could use a little more work. For the people that complain about the bass and treble, get the app. Another nothing. I was going to go woth SONOS Arc, but needs more features, bluetooth and it's tailored around IOS.

This sound bar is LEGIT!! The clarity is incredible. The bass from it is hollow, which is fine because if it was filled bass, the clarity would suffer, but the way it does it is amazing. And, the way Dolby Atmos is sprinkled around you is also incredible. It just hits different. It has a weight to it that lets you know it’s premium. The glass atop the sound bar just screams quality. IMO, it’s worth EVERY penny of the $899 asking price. You will not regret getting this fine piece of machinery. Sonos Arch vs Bose 900…1-0 Bose!

Let me start by saying ive tried LG , polk audio , SAMSUNG AND NONE compare to BOSE ! i own the 900 soundbar + the 700 sub and the 300 rear speakers. People its top notch quality , sound is crispy clear (you can adjust everything to your liking on the app) and sub is super loud i normaly have to keep it on -70 so it stops shaking the house and floor. Wow what a beast when you complete the set up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! I love my set up not one single regret just super satisfying to watch my movies and listen to music. BOSE IS ABOVE ALL.

Been contemplating on buying this for a while now. Tested it out Bestbuy one day with the Bass Module 700 and was blown away on how great it sounded & I didn’t even have it that loud. Finally pulled the trigger for Black Friday and all I can say is WOW! I’m even more impressed now that I have it at home set to my personal settings and can have as loud as I want! Whether I’m watching movies, listening to music or for my favorite GAMING, (when playing solo of course) this set up didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to add the surround speakers if and when there’s a new set with upwards firing.

I bought the Bose soundbar 900 and the Bose 700 base module to replace a Bose Cinemate 1SR in which i really liked, but i needed an upgrade. This soundbar and base are a game changer. You can hear sounds from movies that you never knew existed. Really feels like a movie theater experience. My Bose Cinemate was awesome, but i wanted an upgrade since it is 12yrs old, I knew i was happy with my Bose Cinemate so i wanted to stay with Bose because they are the best when it comes to sound. It did take a bit to get the audio just right. You can tweek your audio settings on your phone. The only con i have is that it is pricy. Although it is about the same price i paid for the Bose Cinemate 12yrs ago. The Bose 900 soundbar is a beauty.

Really great quality soundbar and works effortlessly with my full setup including the Bose Surround speakers and Bose 500 subwoofer which are both wirelessly connected. It’s a major upgrade over the standard Bose Soundbar I used to use with my smaller 65” TV. I contemplated the 600 line Soundbar but haven’t tried to compare, I’ve heard they are very similar but the 900 produces higher volumes - so something to consider if your budget is tighter or want to spend more of your budget on the TV rather than the sound.

Sound bar fills the room and the bass is plenty for what I need. When watching dolby integrated movies you will notice sounds boucing off the ceiling and walls which is make a nice experience. Dont pay full price as you will find it on sale here and there.

The bar is a beauty! And it sounds as good as it looks. The bar is the perfect size, not too big like many others and not too small to look awkward with a large TV. Setup is fairly straightforward and the app is simple to use. The calibration tool helps tremendously.

Bought this for my newly constructed man cave. It's a great soundbar. Easy to setup. I have a ZVOX on my main TV. Huge difference albeit the ZVOX is an older model. I added Bass module 700 and Surround Speakers 700. Incredible sound all around. TV, movies, gaming, music. I'm all in with Bose.

Your review: I bought Bose Smart Soundbar 900 at Best Buy on 3/24/2022. I have tried other soundbars(Sony HT-A7000, JBL BAR 9.1, LG 5.1.2). I kept the Bose Soundbar 900 because of the white color option, most excellent treble, sound clarity, and deep base. There is sufficient base within this sound bar for music and movies. I really like the convenience of a quick assess to my music using the 6 presets button on the remote. Though, there is no Treble or Bass adjustment on the remote. Additionally, the Bose Music App is most intuitive and allows sound customization to my listening preference like adjusting treble/bass, level of height channel & center speakers and dialogue. It also allows me to search for music streaming from Amazon, iHeart Radio, Spotify, and etc… I wish there is a touch button on the sound bar for power, volume, and input selector like Sony sound bar. I highly recommend this Bose Smart Sound Bar 900!

This soundbar is amazing, I also have the soundbar 700 which is amazing too but you can defin Tell the difference between the 2 when setup properly. The only problem I have is that the remote for the 900 should be better than one for the 700.

Had the Bose 1-2-3 forever and finally got around to replacing it with the 900 Soundbar. Everything I love about Bose, great sound with easy set up and operation. The app is a new but delightful experience. Highly recommend.

Warning, if you go to Best Buy with the intention of buying a different one DO NOT try this one. Went ready to buy the almost half the price Bose 300, made the BIG mistake of also checking this one out hahaha.
