I love streaming music to a Bluetooth speaker. The unlimited selection of available music is intoxicating. Add that music convenience factor to the unique features that Alexa offers and you have a winning package. Even better is the fact that this speaker delivers the superior sound quality that we have all come to expect from Bose. It’s one of the best Bluetooth speakers I have ever heard. It beats HomePod by a mile. I should know, I have both.

This is one powerful speaker. Great sound quality. Built in Alexa. Nice screen for album art. We have it in our kitchen and it makes for a great speaker for kitchen dining room and living room.

I purchased this while it was on sale. 50 dollars off. But other than that it's a great little speaker. Easy to use and the app is simple to use once set it up. It is a little confusing to set up. I had trouble setting up my spotify premium account but got it to sync up. Sound is pretty good. I expected this to have a little bit more bass but it's still good enough. So far so good. Good purchase, while it's on sale.

This is my second purchase of this speaker. I bought the second to use on the opposite side of our open floor plan downstairs. It has great sound & is super easy to set up with the app. They also work with Air Play & Alexa. As a matter of fact, it replaced our old Echo speaker.

What can I say? It's a bose and the sound is amazing for such a little speaker! The Alexa option is nice and links up to all my other Alexa devices! You won't be disappointed! Don't expect $1000 speaker quality either! You get what you pay for! With bose you know you're getting quality sound without any distortion! Would buy again!

it sounds great,it is a sound that fills the whole room. I can turn my lights down and look at the screen and see whose music is playing.It took about thirty minutes to set it up but it could have come with better instructions,I had to go to youtube to finish the setup.All in a nutshell I like the speaker and enjoy it very much.

I have had my Bose Home Speaker 500 for almost 6 months-and I have loved every minute of it! I think the Bose music app could use some adjustments, but the speaker itself has been pretty phenomenal. It is easy to use and has great sound (we rarely listen to the speaker above 25% volume and that is when we are jammin')!

Purchased for my mom to replace her old Bose Wave system. The sound is great, not quite as filling as the wave and she really misses the CD feature (a feature of the past, it seems). Nice and easy to control with the app. Clean and doesn't take up a ton of space.

Looked at Sonos and other wireless speakers and due to past great experiences with Bose wireless speakers decided to upgrade. Pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and “room-filling” capability and ease of adding other Bose wireless speakers to the network. Having Alexa was a bonus for streaming Sirius XM.

Phenomenal sound, Oled screen is what makes this standout.

I purchased the Bose Home Speaker 500 a few weeks back and can't be happier. This replaced an older Bose speaker that was no longer supported and would not connect to my home WiFi network anymore. Given the reduced price, $100 off the original list price, it was worth the money. The sound quality is great and it fills the room very well (we have a great room format and the speaker is in the corner). It's connection to the WiFi is much more reliable than the previous speaker and I like the integration with SiriusXM. I don't use Alexa or other assistant features and this was easy to turn off (stopping Google snooping). I agree with other reviewers that the display window is rather useless, but I do like it's time display when it's not playing music. Set-up was very easy (once I figured out I can't give it the same name as another ApplePlay device) and I find the App okay but not great. I especially like the fact that I don't have to hook it up to my computer to get software updates. All in all I would highly recommend the speaker.

This thing sounds really good . I was surprised by the bass mid and hi slight blended but still was a great buy. I got it for $156 on sale instore. I wouldnt pay $399 for this because its over priced.

I purchased this to complement my Bose soundbar and bass. Using the app to sync for music on both units vs. sound for tv only is still a tad clunky. And I'm unclear about who's in charge, me or Alexa, when using voice commands. But the sound is great, and it's an attractive, unobtrusive, component.
