I am so happy with my boss speaker the song is so Clear

The perfect system for an office. Great sound quality that Bose delivers, but in a small casing. Love that I can charge my device while docked OR use an output cable. Only real knock is the price. Sounds quality is great, but you're definitely paying more for the Bose name.

I gave this product as a Father's day gift to my dad. He liked everything about it. It's compact, it has great sound quality and it has a remote control. It also charges his phone while it's docked. The only hassle I can honestly say is that he had to remove his phone case to dock it. There is an Aux connector to connect it from the headphone jack, but you have to plug it separately to charge the phone. Nevertheless, it's a great docking sound system. I am thinking of getting one for myself.

We bought this so we could listen to the music on our iPhones. We like the sound quality, the way you can listen to your music and also charge your phone, and easy to use remote. My husband's phone fits just right to do all these things, but mine has the lifepruf case. I had to buy a special attachment, and while it does play the music, it does not charge the phone. I'm thinking of getting a case for my iPhone that will fit and returning the attachment so I can enjoy all the features of this product. Warning! Make sure your case allows you access.

For years, I had an Altec docking speaker and a portable Logitech speaker dock. Both died, this is the closest replacement I could find. I looked at the WiFi and Bluetooth speakers and saw some that were awesome, but I wanted to have a place to dock my phone as well as have good speakers. There are cheap docks out there, but as always, the Bose speakers are wonderful. I dislike its lack of features though. Everything works from the remote. The controls (searching, sound etc.) aren't as sophisticated as what I had on the other two devices. Bose is good at speakers but not interfaces.

Awesome sound, great size and appearance, and the remote makes it a fantastic buy.

This is a great sounding system for newer Apple products with the Lightning connector. Added convenience with the remote and charges device while in use makes it a worth while purchase. Sound is well balanced and what you would expect from bose.

Purchased this to replace a broken SoundDock series I. Main problem with these is the connector. I purchased the Bluetooth SoundLink III but it was no comparison with volume & amplification. If not concerned with portability, get the SoundDock III. The III also has a secondary jack, so if/when the Apple Lightning connector fails, there is a backup connection.

I love that I can recharge my iPad or iPhone and listen to music at the same time. The remote works with quite a bit of distance between it and the system. The base I was great and vocals are very clear. Return your type of music. The only thing I would change is that you could operate it on batteries as well. Will have this for long time.

Needless to say, Bose product lets you experience the best sound and differentiates from other brands. As bluetooth speakers won't fulfill my expectations on bass & clarity, I had to go for this Sound dock. I love it. I use my mini iPad as well. Besides, aux input feature enables us to play music from other sources too.

Excellent sound, but you pay for it. This unit does exactly what Bose says it does; cradle plays and charges your iPhone with lightning connector or you can connect through the 3.5mm headphone jack. It does not have bluetooth or soundstream, but those are on a different unit at a different price point. If you don't need bluetooth, this is a good choice.

I purchased the Bose SoundDock Series III Digital Music System along with the iPod Shuffle for my Dad's Christmas present. He absolutely loves it. We load the music for him (he loves Bluegrass) and he is in Heaven. Thanks for making a system with such great sound, affordable price and easy to use.

Excellent! I love Bose and my I-Pod sounds great! John Bonham's drums sound like thunder as he would with more expensive equipment. Check this out and listen for yourself-you won't regret it. Don't forget your device is also charging while you are listening to your favorite music.

Bose always puts out great products and this is one of them. Love the sound the remote. It controls your phone while connected to it and I can set my alarm on my phone and of course I can hear it through the speakers which definitely wakes me up in the morning

Bose makes high-quality speaker with excellent sound - highs, mid-range, and bass response. And it's even better that it recharges the device you're playing your music from, while you're listening.

easy set up with use of I phone 5s or 6s, this device has an awesome which fills the entire room. great for play radio station or you tube video music, also recharges your I phone, remote is simple to use, can play your I tunes music.

Although I thought this speaker was priced too high I wanted a high quality lightning dock for my ipod. I've been using this for a while now and have really enjoyed music and podcasts. Like most stand alone speakers this one doesn't have the full dynamic range of a full blown sound system but then there's a price tag difference of several thousand dollars too. I have Bose speakers integrated into my surround system and they have performed perfectly for 18 years.

I really like this sound dock good sound, my only gripe with it is the iPhone connector and it's not Bose's fault it's Apple. If you have a case like an otterbox forget connecting it because it will not reach the connector it's not near long enough. I was reading somewhere that's one of Apples stipulations for the lightning connector it has to stay within a certain length. So I would def recommend if you have a case on your iPhone as 90% of people I know do purchase the Bose Bluetooth adapter!

Love it. I can dock my iPad or iPhone. Sound is just plain awesome. It's small so it can be put almost anywhere...but the sound is huge. I will never buy a different brand ever again. I'm now a Bose customer for life

I spent almost 8 months deciding the speaker that would work best for my needs. The bluetooth portable speakers from Bose or this model speaker. I made the decision to go with this speaker. The sound is clean, rich and the right level of bass. I can hear all the instruments in aa song. The only downside is that this model does not have a blueetooth connector. I had to purchase a separate blue tooth device from Bose to make it a bluetooth speaker. It will be nice if Bose can make this model with bluetooth capability. Otherwise this is the best speaker.
