The speaker is very light but stable and easy to grab with the design being oval shaped. The white color is actually more of a pale bluish gray so I was a little disappointed about it not being true white but I guess that is why they call it "Polar White". The logos for the controls on top of the speaker are very pale in color so it is difficult to see which button controls what. In time I'm sure you'll memorize them but I would think it would make sense for them to be black on white instead of pale gray on "polar white". Easy connectivity to blue tooth devices though and it remembers more than one device which is awesome! The voice responses feature can be turned off if you don't want to hear it tell you which phone it's connected to every time. Great little water resistant speaker, perfect for a bathroom for news or entertainment while youre getting ready for the day!

My sister wanted this for Christmas and best buy had it on sell. Excellent price for a great sound system. It is small, portable, but sounds like a full sound bar. Love it

I was impressed by the wonderful sound that this Bose speaker provided. It is light and water resistant. The battery charge lasts a long time and it automatically connects with my devices without any additional steps.

This thing is about the size of a flask, but twice as thick. Great sound as expected from Bose. Currently used while cleaning the house in Winter. When Summer comes it will be great to sit on the table next to our cool, refreshing beverages. Gets loud, but not “blow your ear drums out”. Clear, smooth bass with pleasant sounds at any range and volume. Surprisingly inexpensive for Bose. I tested a bunch of portable, Bluetooth speakers at the store and while this wasn’t the loudest or had the most bass, for the price, it can’t be beat! Plus it can be paired with other portable Bose Bluetooth speakers for addition sound coverage.

Great sound. Easy to use. As someone who is close to 60 years old I found this speaker very easy to set up and use. I have always liked Bose products, and I am happy that the speaker lives up to the Bose standard. When charged the battery lasted a long time, the sound quality was very good, and I love the portability.

I've owned the Bose soundlink III for 5 years now and it still sounds amazing and works great. I needed something smaller and compact for traveling so I purchased the soundlink color in black and Its perfect. Fits easy in a back pack, has a good grip on the outside, and its easy to pair with any device from laptop to cell phone. I purchased on black friday and got a killer deal. BOSE hardly goes on sale so I had to grab two. One for me and the other for the wife. No Bluetooth device compares to Bose. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This small Bose speaker delivers on all fronts. Sound, battery life, ease of operation. Search for it on sale and you won’t be disappointed.

I was unsure of how good this speaker would sound seeing that it was so small but after i demo'd it in the store i had to get it. I actually bought 2 of them. They sound amazing. Very well constructed and waterproof. I use them all the time. Great for poolside or camping.

WIth a long battery life this compact wireless speaker fills a room of 50 with clear sound for both audio and music. Bose continues to offer great depth of sound for such a small speaker. Its been a valuable tool with my laptop for business presentations on the go.

I bought this speaker bc every time my neighbor had an event, he would ask me to bring my speaker...so I bought him one for his birthday. This speaker sits by the pool all summer - on a boat - on a cooler in the river, etc. It's not waterproof, but the covering makes is watcher resistant. The sound is what you expect from Bose. The battery life is very good. We use this speaker almost every day of the year at some point..either outside or in the living room if we are roaming around and want music. I have been using it for 2 years and I really do love this speaker.

Like all Bose products, this is one surrounds you with exceptional sound. Although it is lightweight and compact in size, the volume and quality it produces will satisfy even the most impossible to please music lover. It's perfect to throw in a tote bag and take with you on a picnic, to the pool, or as I do, to the class I am teaching. When not in class, it hangs out downstairs in my den and provides me with relaxing sounds and lovely background music during dinner. Love this as much as I do my old Bose sound dock that resides in my bedroom. Highly recommend this item. Will be a great asset in any home.

This speaker is fantastic!!! I love the size, the aqua color and the sound quality is great for us. We choose this color to compliment our outdoor hot tub and furniture. It's great that it is waterproof and you don't have to worry about it getting wet.

Nice sound , although bose does heavily use digital signal processing. That's how a tiny speaker sounds good. The hi range is decent, mids get a little muddy, bass is nice till loud volume and deep bass notes. Water resistance is adequate for a shower or light rain. I've had no charging issues, no pairing issues. Works wel 30feet away. Back to sound I think it fills a room nicely. Aux cord input is GREAT for saving that precious power, and for no paired items. Not the best but nice . I like that through the Bose app you can pair 2 for stereo sound. That will be my next purchase as sitting on the patio with this and watching a movie gives a great effect. Stereo would be better. Its light for me so back packing is a nice , battery life I've seen around 8 plus hours of intermittent use. 1hour to 2 hours at a time.

I purchased my first Soundlink Color in 2016 with the GS 2-year protection plan. The sound quality was excellent for such a small speaker, and especially for a wireless speaker. The battery lasts many hours, which I like very much. For almost two years, I used the speaker for many hours, almost every day, moving it around often. The speaker fell many times, usually because I set it on a surface that wasn't level. I would set it upright. Despite the many falls, the product quality never degraded---the sound quality remained excellent, and the buttons did not wear down, functioning as they had when new. Just under the two-year anniversary, the speaker abruptly stopped charging. I woke up one morning, and used it, then found it wouldn't charge. (No problem with the charger.) Best Buy replaced the speaker with a newer model. (I paid the slight difference in price and purchased a new protection plan.) In the days of yore, a product that lasted less than two years wouldn't be considered to be well made. But back in the pre-high-tech era, products didn't contain delicate electronics. The hard use I put the speaker through may have contributed to the loss of charging capability. In the newer model (purchased July 2018), the charge port is on the side instead of the back, which I think is a major improvement. I can now place the speaker on its back temporarily when charging, if necessary. The buttons are different and aren't as easy to identify by touch in the dark as the earlier model's buttons were (I often listen as I fall asleep), but I've adjusted myself to the buttons and have no problem. I had tried bluetooth movable speakers by two other manufacturers, but I was very dissatisfied with both the sound quality and the physical quality of those models. Given the heavy use I got from my first purchase of an earlier model of this speaker, I found this speaker to be very well made. Yes, the older model stopped charging at just under two years. But with the Geek Squad protection plan, although this speaker was more expensive than others, it was an excellent value. Now I have the latest model, and it sounds great and feels as solidly made. I'm very pleased with this speaker.

I purchased this to augment one of those nostalgic phono players, so mine is always plugged in but my battery light starts blinking after one album, so either mine is defective or the battery life on this isn't as awesome as I was expecting after seeing the reviews. As far as the sound quality, it has the classic rich, full sound of Bose and it is about a billion times better than the classic internal speakers that come with these all in one units but it isn't a party speaker and the bass is consistent with a pool side, personal speaker. Since mine is augmenting the less impressive speakers in my unit, I'm getting full stereo. The Bose fills in the tinny emptiness that the cheaper speakers have and, quite frankly, my little nostalgic player sounds like its hooked up to my main sound system. Lots of depth, gets loud enough to inhibit conversation in the same room and no blur or crackle. The only give away is that the bass is a little weak. This speaker has a single input port so you can hardwire it. It's just the 3.5 mm jack but that's why I chose this unit, it will directly hook up to units that don't have a bluetooth out capability. It's super compact, so it hides away well if you are using it like I am and don't like the look of shelves or walls filled with speakers. Overall, I'm really happy with it. The directions are really awful. If you are using the line in, you have to switch the mode and the mode button is between the power button and the - (volume down) button. You just click it quickly and it will light up. Once you choose that mode, if you turn it off in that mode, when you turn it back on, it's still in that mode. You are better off using your gut to figure it out than using the really crummy instructions. Overall, good speaker, compact, delivers a reasonable volume with Bose depth. I have no regrets but, even in Bose world, you get what you pay for. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars in this price range is because the battery life doesn't impress me.

This Bluetooth speaker definitely has a great bold sound. I have a Bose wave radio and this portable speaker has a similar sound and quality at a very affordable price. It is nice because it doesn't take up a lot of space and can be easily moved from room to room. My kids enjoy taking turns pairing with the speaker and choosing a song to play. It is also very easy to pair; there is a an audio confirmation when each device is connected. I plan to use it near the pool this summer since it is also water resistant. I would highly recommend!
