Sound is very clear as expected from Bose. In single charge it runs for almost 6-7 hours. Quite handy for its size and best for travel. You can control the speaker with bose soundlink app but the app is very basic and not upto the mark. Overall the speaker is good but I would say the price is little bit high because of its Brand value.

Nice sound and actually decent level on the bass end as well. Was looking for something portable and small for a laptop for use in watching movies and listening to audio stories. Easy to link up to the laptop as well.

Everything I was looking for. Its small with big sound. It connects to all of my devices easily. Its moisture resistant so it can go outdoors. It doesn't need to be near an electrical outlet except to recharge the battery. Its available in 4 colors. Its affordable; less than $150. Yes, Bose makes better more expensive speakers but this is the one for me. My kids always asked to borrow it so I bought them each one too. Now have a black, a red, and a blue so everyone knows which is theirs.

We loved ours so much we bought a second one. Having teens around can be a challenge with playing music. We recently sent our daughter to college and sent this with her she loves it and uses it all the time. It's light weight easy to charge and connect to your device. Sound is perfect great little portable speaker. Bonus is the outside cover which makes this product very durable.

I really like this small portable speaker! Connects pretty effortlessly with my cell phone's Bluetooth, and with pretty decent range. Also excellent when doing projector movie nights! There's minimal distortion even at a pretty high volume. So far, it holds a decent charge-- 8-12 hours, and it recharges pretty quickly. Very happy with it so far.

The Soundlink II 2nd generation gets 10 stars! You will not be disappointed. The only thing I don't like is that it does not come with a wall charger! Seriously!!! It does come with the USB cord. I contact Bose to let them know that it is pretty cheesy for a world wide corporation of their caliber to not provide a wall charger. It is hardly convenient to charge via computer. Yes I could have used a charger from another device, but I wanted one with the correct specs so I don't damage my speaker. Bose responded immediately advising I was correct and a charger is on the way at no charge. Good job Bose! I use this speaker not just for music but also when I stream movies on my tablet. Just like in theaters! I love it!

I really like the fact it automatically syncs to your phone and now I can watch movies or tv shows from my phone. The sound quality as well is pretty good and it’s portable for the most case and stylish.

Let's get real, this sounds pretty darn good for its' size in comparison to others. Any one expecting an audiophile experience is delusionary. It's mobile music, not a concert hall. Easy to use. Durable.

After looking at an audio system that would need to be stationary I looked at smaller more portable speakers. This speaker packs the best sound into a very durable, waterproof, portable package. It connects to Bluetooth rather easily so that I can take music outside and still continue to stream inside the house as well. We have used it for settings from construction sites to relaxation in the bathtub. I truly appreciate the versatility and performance of this product.

The sound quality out of this little unit is amazing. Much base. I had it going (low) at the office and a coworker who wears hearing aids had to ask me to turn it down a little because the base was messing with his hearing! So I use it at home and use a different brand with lower quality bass at work lol

I purchased another brand speaker prior to getting the Bose Soundlink. Went through 2 of them and had problems with both. I had read reviews on several and chose the other due to battery life. Big mistake. After returning the other brand the second time I listened to the Bose again at the store and decided to try it. Set it up at home in a few minutes and charged it up. Took it to work and fired it up on a construction site. Was more than impressed with the quality of the sound the Bose produced. I use it all the time and have not had any issues. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a small compact speaker with great sound.

I’ve been wanting one Bose speaker for a while and I’m so in love with this color and it’s super portable, the battery also lasted a while. So it’s definitely an attractive speaker plus it’s water resistance and the sound is so clear and HD. I would recommend this speaker if your looking for something light and loud.

I bought this for my mother for mother’s day and it’s a great speaker!!!! Very loud, bass is amazing and the fact that it’s water resistant it was perfect by the pool this past summer

Great Sound, long battery life, easy to use. Use with phone and tablet. I have really enjoyed it. It's like having a big system in your house but takes up a lot less space. Love it.

This handsome little Bluetooth speaker has a sound that's remarkable! I've always heard and read that you can't go wrong with Bose and now I know why. I love how easy unboxing, pairing and charging were. Everything that I needed came with the Speaker. I completed the charge using the enclosed cord and it couldn't have been more simple. After pairing with my iPhone and choosing my music I was able to immediately begin listening to my favorites. Love, love the beautiful quality of sound... and I'm thrilled with how long a charge lasts. My Bose Bluetooth Color II Speaker is perfect for me. And, yes I'd recommend it for you or for gift giving. My husband and I weren't even shopping for speakers when we found ourselves listening to this BOSE speaker for at least 20 min at the store. We finally gave into buying it and it has turned out to be the one thing we use most at our house. We always have it playing and the sound is incredible. Awesome base. Sounds great even at high volumes. Very long battery life. We even found the price reasonable. Buy it!!! It's worth it! :)

Overall, I would say this was a good purchase. My only real complaint is that for the amount I paid a power charger should have been included. Instead, all that's provided to charge the speaker is a very short (20 inch) USB cable with no USB power adapter. Other than that, the audio is clear with decent mid-range and great bass for a single speaker. It charges quickly and lasts for as long as advertised. Pairing it with my phone via Bluetooth was simple and the buttons are easy to use. If you use it at night like I do you may want to cover the very bright LED on top of the unit.

Long battery. Portable. Good bass. Loud. What more can you ask for. Ohh and water resistant.
