    I have reviewed this speaker vs the orginial and YES it does sound better. Vocals are very clear and bass for its size is good. The best thing about this speaker is its portability and ruggedness. Does it beat the B&O A1 Gen 3 well no but its 1/3 the price. See this review https://youtu.be/CwRF4kjSzPs

    I finally upgraded from the original micro I purchased 6 years ago and I have to say it’s so much better now sound wise it’s nice you have EQ in the app to change it to your sound preference The battery is the biggest upgrade in my opinion It last all day long listening to it around 50/60% volume level Price wise I think it’s a bit much since for another $30 you can get the soundlink flex
