It has great sound. It is very clear and i can hear it in about 3 rooms.

I bought this speaker in March of 2024. Since then, it has been a complete disappointment. I bought it thinking bose would make a quality speaker that would be easy to use and sound great. But, I have just been completely dumbfounded by the quality of this speaker. The sound when it is turn on is.... meh initially, There is an app that needs to be downloaded to set the equalizer. It does not have the deep bass I was expecting from a bose speaker with the initial settings. Once the app is downloaded, setting the equalizer isn't difficulty, but the little tab is constantly in the way on the home screens. I have to constantly move it out of the way to do other things on my phone. This is minuscule compared to the charging process. It took me 3 or 4 times to figure the charging process out for this speaker. You would expect a typical portable speaker to be charged when plugged at any level of charging. When it first got below 10% I plugged it in to charge, left in plugged in for a few hours and it only got to 70%. I let it charge overnight and it did not raise above 70%. I used it some more and let the battery completely drain. I charged it again and it FINALLY went to 100%. Through trial and error I figured out, in order to charge the battery to 100% I have to let it die completely. If I attempt to charge it any earlier, it will only charge to somewhere between 40 and 70% and will not go any higher. I have tried different fast chargers and cable to no avail. It continues to be the same. Another aspect with the charging, Once it starts, if the charging is interrupted because the cable is moved and become dislodged, the charging cycle stops. Regardless of reengaging the charging cable the battery will not charge beyond the interrupted point. Overall, I am very disappointed in this product and wish I had chosen a different portable speaker.

Good liked bought a second one! Sure makes listening and talking much more pleasant, plus it is small enough to carry with you.

Great product sound quality is awesome even for large rooms

I got this speaker for the soul purpose of being my daily work speaker. All I needed was something pretty loud with okay bass and 10 hours of playtime. This speaker gave me almost none of that. Don't get me wrong, this thing is built so well you could probably use it as the head on a battering ram. But it doesn't get very loud, becomes muddy past 80% and has almost no bass. On top of this, the battery life at 60%-100% volume (I adjust it based on song) only gave me 6 hours at best. This speaker is $200+, this is all unacceptable from a company like Bose and unacceptable at it's price point. The best way I can describe this speaker is it has the sound of a $60 altec lancing speaker with a body built by Apple. Also, this speaker is very picky about how it can be charged. I can't charge it off a computer, but I can if I plug it into a portable battery or wall outlet. Any form of USB passthrough on any device just doesn't do it, so trickle charging the thing isn't possible. Conclusion: It looks good, it's built good, but it's sound is a letdown and so is it's battery. Not acceptable for $200+
