I love beats. Most people say this discounts me as a memeber of being an audiofile but i love the heavy bass. These bose have bass but not to the same level as beats, i beleive its cause they do not fit as snuggly in my ear as beats. But other reviews are correct, they are better overall then beats with you being able to hear everything in a audio track. The biggest plus is their comfort. though i cant sleep with them on, they do fit comfortably and can withstand movement. the biggest disappointment is, short cord and no mic or volume controls.

These are a pair of world-class earphones!! Awesome sound, superb bass and extreme clarity!! Also the different ear fittings are superb, you can change between 3 different fittings to suit you the most. Just go for these!!

Sony does a good job with theses headphones. I purchased them on "super sale". Originally a hundred bucks, marked down to forty, and then fifteen more off for a Best Buy points certificate, making them $25. I put the above in, because you can search out holiday deals like this with a little legwork and get great products for fractions of their retail price. On to the review ;-) These headphones are very secure during exercise. I do mostly treadmill and machines, so I can't speak for heavy activity sports like tennis or racquet ball. But for running and repetitive up/down, they stay put. Make sure you put the correct size spacer on. Not only does it keep placement in the ear more secure, it forms a better seal for bass. Speaking of bass, this tiny unit has plenty. It's labeled as extra bass on the packaging, and delivers well, without sounding mushy. Overall, the sound quality is quite good. It does pretty well with the mid range and singing is clear. If you like music with female voices or sax/trumpets you will be pleased. I can not speak to battery life. I use them for only a single hour per day during workouts and then charge them. I can not speak to product life as I've only had them a few weeks. I can say I'm very pleased with their comfortable and snug/secure fit and am very pleased with their sound quality. There are worth the retail price, but I hope you can find a good deal on them like I did, as you would be happy with them.

I bought this not thinking that much of it but after using it for a while now I find it amazing. Reasonable price, great sound, good bass, and it fits nicely in your ear sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. If you're looking for new pair of earbuds you got to get these.

Bought on black Friday sale at half price, though the sound quality and convenience is worth it even at regular price. Bass is strong for earbuds, and as you'd expect with Bose, overall dynamic range and balance is excellent. I've used a variety of earbuds with special plugs or ends and generally haven't found anything that tends to stay in place when I'm active. This can result in letting in more ambient noise than I'd like and/or letting some of the music sound slip away, especially the lower end. With these, though, the funky little brace that looks like a loop outside the bud rests against the inside of your ear and provides just enough tension to hold the bud in place without putting so much pressure to cause eventual pain. I've worn these all day and not had any discomfort.

Wow... just wow. I've always used <$50 headphones... figured anything more expensive was a marketing scam. Saw these on the Black Friday promo and picked them up. What an amazing difference. The sound coming from these is full and rich, ABSOLUTE night and day. Nice bass (not overwhelming), not tinny hollow sound. They are very comfortable and sit in the ear nicely, barely even know that they are in. I haven't tried out others in the hundred dollar price range to compare these to, but at 60% off for Black Friday they are the steal of the season... knowing what I know now I might have even ponied up the full price.

I have never been a fan of earphones to start. Usually the sound is too neutral and low to the point where the bass is almost nonexistant, causing the sound to be flat. For years I have used very old Sony Fontopia earphones from back in the day and even purchased a new set after they stopped manufacturing online through Amazon or other sources. Due to them being now $60+ now I looked for an alternative. With a bit of a higher price I chose these and they are surprisingly well balanced. The volume is a tad low still compared to the Fontopias but they make up with clear sound and exceptional bass, especially for in-ear sound.

Bought them on sale for my mom who is an avid runner and was using the Apple Earpods prior. She was not disappointed with the quality, not like I was surprised considering they are Bose. Very clear sound, with a great balance for highs and lows. Good bass that is not overpowering (*cough* Beats *cough*). Stay well in your ear, with multiple sized hooks. Only downside is that this particular model comes without the in-mic controls to adjust the volume and change track. The other model of this earphone has it. If this isn't too much of an issue, then the earphones are worth buying

Extremely comfortable and lightweight. 3 different sized earplugs come standard in the box to ensure right fit. I use medium across other brands, medium work on these too. Fit feels just right, they do let some noise in, so don't expect complete noise isolation. The curved hook helps stay them on the ear, I use them for running and at the gym. Now to sound quality. Extremely well balanced. Good bass and strong mid and highs. None of the beats over boosted BS. If you like well balanced music, these are definitely worth mentioning. Oh, and they come with a nice fabric case!

I impulsively bought these on Black Friday, since they were only $40 and it's always good to have an extra pair of headphones around. As far as sound goes, they are very clear and have a certain warm quality. They do seem a little weak on the bass at times, however. As far as comfort, they are excellent! Interestingly, when I compared them to my Apple headphones (that came with my iPhone 6s Plus), there was no noticeable difference. In fact, the Apple headphones seemed to have more bass and just as much clarity. Although I still think these are very good headphones, I believe that the buyer is paying for comfort (which is a legitimate need) and the Bose name.

Sound is solid. Very clean, crisp. Bass is good. I know past iterations of BOSE can sometimes have build quality issues, but nothing on my end yet. If you can get them at a good sale price, it's worth a pick-up.

I bought these and took a risk. I prefer the over the ear headphones sound quality so I really didn't want to buy these, but because they are Bose I took a chance since they were on sale. To my surprise they are great! They sound very similar to my over the ear Bose headphones and are very comfortable as well. The bass and full sound are unbelievable for this type of headphone. I highly recommend these.

Great for jogging. Earbuds stay in ear and don't move around or fall out like other in-ear headphones. Sound quality is decent for the price. Good base and clear, crisp sound.

I really like the sound! The base is super duper nice!.. Now my son and my daughter want to have one of this!... LOVE IT!..

Can't go wrong with Bose. I've tried a few headphones but I always go back to Bose. The sound from these headphones is what is expected. Just the right amount of bass and treble. I guess I have the right size ears because these don't fall out. Bought these primarily for working out. Fits the bill for that purpose.

Sound quality is awesome.. u can get best bass in this ear bud... I like design of earbud... it is very comfortable and stays in ear... Please note you can go for Bose soundsport ear bud with mic and volume control... this does not have mic and volume control....

The headset sounds crystal clear. Extremely comfortable in my ears, without the feeling of them slipping out. These do not have any noise cancelling features. The bass they have are just right. All around great in-ear headphones.

It's Bose, thats it!!!Great sound fits very well in my ear when I am out on the trails! I listen to all kinds of music and these little babies sound crystal clear and a little bit of bass too!

These earphones have some of the best sound quality I have heard from earbuds. The bass is very nice and they never fall out of my ears when at the gym. Definitely recommend for gym buffs
