These headsets are no different than the ones that come with a new phone purchase. You guys know what I'm talking about. Really disappointed, there is nothing phenomenal about the sound. They sound like the ones from Walmart or Target, the ones you get for like $15. How do people justify spending $100 on these? Better yet, say they are amazing and what they expect from BOSE? Your paying only for brand here, just the name. Nothing more. Save your money, I had high hopes for a $100 set of headphones. The only things I liked was that they stay in your ear during a workout, which almost any other headset can do with the right research that it will do that too. If you have money to burn for a very basic set of headphones donate to Bose...

I love these headphones! They don't fall out of my ear when I'm running, and the sound is great. They also come with a small carrying case that's perfect for storing them away so they don't get tangled. They don't have volume control or a mic, but these are the best headphones I've found for running.

I got these for $49 when Best Buy had them on sale. I cannot find better sounding - or more comfortable - earbuds unless I want to spend $100 or more. They have a good quality feel and fit and finish is excellent. The comfortable tips come in three sizes for different sized ears. I can wear these all day without me ears hurting. Since earbuds sit directly in the ear, however, it can be difficult to say that EVERYONE will think these sound great. The geometry of the ear has a major impact on sound reflections, and thus a major impact on how your eardrum receives the sound waves. You'll need to try them for yourself to see if they work for you. To my ear, the sound is very natural with neither the highs nor lows boosted. These are not reference or studio quality, mind you, but they do work well for casual or on-the-go listening. I would like them better if the cord were longer. The cord is long enough to use with a phone, but not quite long enough for me to use while sitting at my iMac.

Love them! They are the best pair of headphones that I have ever had. I had been looking for a good pair for years. Every pair I bought would fall out of my ears until I found these. I love how they rest comfortably in my ear and the sound is fantastic. My last pair of Bose headphones lasted me for about 5 years and I have not doubt that these will the last the same amount of time!

The night before Thanksgiving, I had to replace my head phones very last minute before leaving town. Fortunately, our 24 hour store was open a couple hours longer than most retail stores t. Unfortunately, this particular stroe did not have the headphones that go with my phone so I looked into alternative options. I settled with these for the simple reason that they were the only model available with this type of ear bud. Being a brand name though thier price was nearly $150, which was just $120 more than I had planned. But being the only option, I proceeded for the check out where I discovered Best Buy had kicked of their Black Friday Sale that very evening. To my delight and plesant surprise the final cost was only $100. Which for a brand name is what I totally would expect them to cost. In fact, this is now their retailing regular cost. Meaning if I thought I got them for a steal, you finding them on sale again will make it highway robbery. This is a superior set of headphones. The standard size buds fit me perfectly which never happes, but just in case they come with two replacement sets varying ever so slightly in size. The material used is so soft, half the time I forget that I'm wearing them when no music is playing. The sound quality is excellent and they cancel out more surrounding atmospheric sound then one would think pssible, which makes them perfect for when I'm on the subway and can still hear my music without having ro blast the volume. Lastly they come with a storage pouch thay has a clip that works great when attached to a belt loop. No more digging to bottm of my carry on while sprinting through the airport. I just wish there was a mic component to these since I use them with my phone, but I can hardly hold Bose accountable for this fact, as they're known for speakers. Highly recommended for anyone who finds circular buds painful and the classic headphone style to sweaty on your ears or annoyed by how they always mess up the perfect hairdo.

These are comfortable and sound great, especially for the price I paid. I like these because they actually stay in my ears and I don't have to mess with the uncomfortable hook going behind my ears with other sports in ear headphones.

I would have given this 5 stars but the cord is not that long. When the headphones are in my ears and i have it connected to my phone the cord almost doesn't reach. Bose creates and excellent product this is one of those. Sounds great. Sits nice in the ear and its very comfortable.

These are a pair of world-class earphones!! Awesome sound, superb bass and extreme clarity!! Also the different ear fittings are superb, you can change between 3 different fittings to suit you the most. Just go for these!!

Sony does a good job with theses headphones. I purchased them on "super sale". Originally a hundred bucks, marked down to forty, and then fifteen more off for a Best Buy points certificate, making them $25. I put the above in, because you can search out holiday deals like this with a little legwork and get great products for fractions of their retail price. On to the review ;-) These headphones are very secure during exercise. I do mostly treadmill and machines, so I can't speak for heavy activity sports like tennis or racquet ball. But for running and repetitive up/down, they stay put. Make sure you put the correct size spacer on. Not only does it keep placement in the ear more secure, it forms a better seal for bass. Speaking of bass, this tiny unit has plenty. It's labeled as extra bass on the packaging, and delivers well, without sounding mushy. Overall, the sound quality is quite good. It does pretty well with the mid range and singing is clear. If you like music with female voices or sax/trumpets you will be pleased. I can not speak to battery life. I use them for only a single hour per day during workouts and then charge them. I can not speak to product life as I've only had them a few weeks. I can say I'm very pleased with their comfortable and snug/secure fit and am very pleased with their sound quality. There are worth the retail price, but I hope you can find a good deal on them like I did, as you would be happy with them.

These headphones have great sound quality! They also worked great to exercise with. They stayed in my ears with no uncomfortable movement. Only problem is I would like a longer cord. Overall excellent.

Really like the sound. I am more impressed with the comfort in ear and the way they stay in during normal wear or when I am working out.

I owned a previous iteration of these headphones for years prior to purchasing this updated pair. The old Bose Sport headphones always sounded great, and the in-ear tabs stayed in place during even rigorous activity. Over time, however, the rubber wire insulation became brittle and wore away. This updated pair has supposedly improved the weather-and-sweat-proofing of the insulation, so I'm hoping these last a bit longer. That said, all the pros of the previous version remain - these headphones sound great and stay in place.

These bose headphones from best buy have a great sound and are so small and comfortable.

I use earbuds a lot. I wear them for work and a lot in my personal time. I have worn these earbuds for 10+ hours with zero discomfort. Not some, not a little NONE. The shark fins were a bose-first design, but there are now a lot of imitators. I've tried several and no others are simultaneously as comfortable and as secure. These buds simply will not fall out. The sound quality is superb and well-balanced. I have driven these hard with no distortion to the limit of volume I can take. Highs are subtle and clear, no tinniness or harshness. The lows are full and round. The buds handle the lows without distortion, which impressive for a small driver. I will note that these are not for folks who like their bass maxed out. The buds will deliver okay if you overdrive the bass, but the beauty of Bose is in the dynamics and balance. Plus, a larger driver, like those in on-ear or around-ear headphones are better suited to that kind of use.

I bought this not thinking that much of it but after using it for a while now I find it amazing. Reasonable price, great sound, good bass, and it fits nicely in your ear sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. If you're looking for new pair of earbuds you got to get these.

I went through about 5 different pairs of headphones before I finally tried these. I should have tried them from the beginning, but I was just being cheap. A lot of time wasted for no reason, sometimes you are just better off paying for quality. I use these for running, working out at the gym and just listening to music. They are very comfortable and stay in place when active.

I bought these headphones when my SoundTrue in-ear headphones went bad. These are much better built for the gym and are perfect if you like to go running and aren't a fan of wireless headphones. They fit comfortably in my ear and never fell out during intense workouts. The only flaw is the open design allows for outside noise to be more noticeable than the regular SoundTrue headphones but these are still good for every day listening.

Bought on black Friday sale at half price, though the sound quality and convenience is worth it even at regular price. Bass is strong for earbuds, and as you'd expect with Bose, overall dynamic range and balance is excellent. I've used a variety of earbuds with special plugs or ends and generally haven't found anything that tends to stay in place when I'm active. This can result in letting in more ambient noise than I'd like and/or letting some of the music sound slip away, especially the lower end. With these, though, the funky little brace that looks like a loop outside the bud rests against the inside of your ear and provides just enough tension to hold the bud in place without putting so much pressure to cause eventual pain. I've worn these all day and not had any discomfort.

Great sound. Good fit. Very comfortable. Solid value.
