Haven't had the headphones for very long, but really like the sound quality. This is my 3rd pair of wireless headphone and definitely the best sound. I like getting the battery strength when I first turn them on. They are easy to pair. My only hesitation that keeps me from a 5 star is that they seem a little large for my ears. I have to experiment with the wings.

Having owned the Powerbeats the Bose had a lot to live up to. I was not disappointed. From the look to the sound quality the Bose are far superior. I was a little concerned about them falling out my ears but once I got the hang of putting the wing in my ear they were spot on. I've used them for the gym, running and general day to day wear and not had any issues. Would definitely recommend them.

I always hated when I went jogging or to the gym and how I always could feel my ear bud cord tugging occasionally and pulling the buds out of my ears. Sales guy at Best Buy said he liked these Bose bluetooth buds. OMG! They're amazing. I wear them even just to talk on the phone because I can seriously hear the phone call conversation so much better than just if I used the phone by itself.

Great item and worth the money! The quality of the sound is great and they are secure in your ear. They come with different size inserts to fit all ears. Even when doing vigorous workouts, they are secure and there is no sound feedback! The only issue I have ran into is they hurt your ears after an extended period of time. And by extended period of time, I mean over 3 hours.

These headphones are excellent for the gym. Sound quality is outstanding, heart rate monitor works well with Endomondo and other apps. Now I am able to measure my heart rate with accuracy. Results are very similar to the Apple Watch Series 2. if you are looking for great sound quality and ability to measure your heart rate these headphones are worth buying!

I have been experimenting with the new Bose SoundSport Pulse earbud-style headphones for a couple of weeks. I have compared them to another quality set of in-ear headphones I use as well as some high-end on-ear headphones. The end result - The Bose SoundSport Pulse is an excellent headphone. The sound reproduction is very clear. It doesn't get bogged down with too heavy a bass, nor does suffer from distortion at the higher ranges. The aural template is very pleasing. I used the Pulse headphones in conjunction with the Bose Connect app on my Android phone. The app is also available on iOS. While the app is somewhat stark, it functions well. When you use the app, you also get heart rate monitoring (relayed to the app on your phone), which seemed pretty accurate based on comparisons to self tests and my Fitbit Surge. I had hoped the Pulse would include active noise cancelling technology, but it does not appear to, unless I have missed it. I have not found any reference to noise cancelling, and it clearly doesn't block out most noises around you. I understand the intent is that these will largely be worn during exercise or running, so you need to hear what's going on around you for safety reasons. Still, there are active noise cancelling technologies that will block loud sounds while allowing normal sounds to permeate the device; this is what I had hoped for with the Pulse. The Pulse uses an interesting (and comfortable) wing fit to nestle in the ear. Bose calls these StayHear+ Sport Tips. They seem to keep it secure and comfy. It comes with three sets of interchangeable tips to get the right fit for your ear. The cable connecting the two earbuds has a multi-function volume rocker that works well. I had no complaints about using the Pulse for voice as well as music. The cable also has a clip you can use to secure it to your shirt or neckband. The Pulse also comes with a nice little carry case that has a plastic carbiner clip. I presume it is plastic to save weight, but I thought the carbiner felt cheap. The Pulse charges fairly quickly and holds a charge well. I had read battery life is rated for 5 hours, and I consistently got a little better than that. In terms of design, the Pulse looks bigger and more bulky that I expected, but they were not at all heavy or uncomfortable. I have a bad knee and a bad ankle, so I don't jog and cannot comment on whether the bulk would be an impediment for wearing them while jogging. Pros: - Quality sound reproduction - Comfortable fit - Workout friendly pulse monitoring Negatives: - Bulky design - No noise cancelling Essentially, this is almost identical to the non-Pulse version except this one adds a heart rate monitor, loses about an hour of battery life, and costs $50 more. It's a nice headphone. If you find the heart rater monitoring beneficial (and the heart rate monitoring from the ear is supposed to be more reliable than what you might get from a wrist wearable), then go for it. If you don't need the heart rate monitoring, I might stick with the non-Pulse model by Bose. Regardless, you get great sound with either model.

I'm always skeptical of earbuds because I have small ears, but these fit very well right out of the box. Easy to pair and setup. My only complaint is that they don't play very loud even with the volume turned all they way up on the source device and the headphones....otherwise I would have rated them 5 stars.

A wonderful Pair of headphones, great sound quality. The bass is mostly deep, could have been better. Another issue is they have no app for Windows platform Phones, so I cant use the heart rate monitor. Volume could have been set higher as well. Overall the best pair of in ear headphones I've every owned.

The headphones seem well made and fit in the ear comfortably. I was a little disappointed in the sound quality. I have a wired Bose noise cancelling set and they are much better. These are better than the inexpensive bluetooth pair I used before but they are not wonderful. Nevertheless, they meet my needs.

I had the JBL Reflect headphones, which were ok, but I wanted a better quality sound and more base. These Bose Soundsport Pulse headphones are excellent!! You get that in-stereo sound that you would get from a good sound system in your vehicle. I've really enjoyed using these and wouldn't use any others. Absolutely recommend this product!

I like the headphones sound quality but the issue I had with the headphones is that it would fall off my ears when moisture was on the headphones. The headphones is a little heavy also the clip that comes with it doesn't stay on the wire part properly and also easy to loose. I had returned them because of my personal choice but would recommend to others

I recent got these as a birthday gift for myself since the iPhone 7 removed the headphone jack and I wanted a bluetooth set. I could not be happier with purchase of these. Music quality is amazing and even has great bass. I only gave them 4 stars because I do feel they are a bit overpriced.

Tried a few different pairs of BT headphones including Powerbeats3, but ultimately settled on these because of the great sound and the HR monitor - my only complaint would be the range of the BT - I'd like to be able to move around the entire gym without any reception issues.

I’ve used these for over a month and this is one of the best headsets I have used. First, the setup is very straightforward; pairing only takes a few seconds. There is an app you need to download to take advantage of some features ( more on that later.) One note, the app makes it appear at first you need to go through the app to pair but you do not. Almost immediately after pairing , running the app and putting the headset on , you will hear that the SoundSport Pulse is detecting your heart rate rate The heart rate sensor is compatible with several fitness apps. Overall, beyond reading your heart rate, the app does not have many functions and I really do not see the point of the app from playing a music perspective. Music will not start through the app but can be controlled once it is started . Yes you can skip tracks, increase volume etc but the app is not much beyond that. The Bose app will tell interrupt between songs to tell you “heart rate detected.” SoundSport Pulse seems to work fine when paired via Bluetooth for IOS and Android. I tried both with no issues whatsoever. So let’s look at a point by point features, functions and design. Build quality, look and feel and fit. The SoundSport Pulse is relatively light for it’s size The SoundSport Pulse stays put suprisingly well but you need to make sure you have to have the clip attached because it will everntually fall out of your ears if you are jogging. The ear pieces are not a complete seal, they just “float” in the ear. I know some people may not like this but I think this is intentional since the design the headset is geared to someone using the Soundsport Pulse when exercising. I am sure you would want to hear a car coming when jogging. In a closed enviroment, outside sound is really not an issue. The headset’s overall size is big for an in ear design and it will feel enormous if you are used to the Apple traditional ear pods. You have to get used to the correct position of the ear pieces but once I found the right spot, they are most comfortable I ever felt. Since this is a “sport “ design, the headset is water resistant. I did not put it in water but everything looks water resistant. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure you use the cover to seal the power connecter, I can tell that if this is forgotten that there will be water intrusion. Sound quality, control and power - The sound is simply fantastic. For music, it is clear , hits highs and most of the lows ( you cannot expect much of the low range for ear piece headsets.) Voice clarity is spot on and very clear. Volume is tremendous – it can easily get too loud on the highest setting. There is no active noise cancellation so a loud background will intrude but not too much. There is an inline mic and control. You can adjust volume and skip songs. I find the control is too far up on the wire and close to ear to easily access. I do not think there is another great place for it due to the compact design so Bose had no choice. I find the buttons a bit hard to activate . I am going to put the battery life in it’s own category. They are rated at 5 hours. I do not know if Bose is underestimating that or because I use d the headset at a relatively low volume, I easily got 6+ hours. I did not continuely use them 6 hours but used them periodically and tried to keep track. Suffice to say, you will get at least 5 hours if not more from one charge. Overall, I found the Bose to be the best I have tried. Bose has nearly succeeded in making a head set that does all things well, not an easy feat when dealing with the size constraints of wireless in ear headset. There are some improvements I would suggest. An Apple Watch and Android Wear app would be very useful, especially for controlling the volume, skipping tracks and answering the phone. Additionally, I would like to see some active noise cancellation. Since this feature is present in many phone bluetooth phone headsets, I do not see why it cannot be incorporated. I know Bose may say these are designed to allow sound ot intrude, there is no reason it could be turned on and off. At this price point, it should be here. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. As indicated, this is a great headset. It is far better than the Apple EarPods and the most comfortable I have used. I recommend picking one up.

I needed Bluetooth headphones to go with my new iPhone. Bose was definitely the way to go! There is hardly any loss in sound quality over Bluetooth, which is huge! The sound quality handles deep, warm tones and was well as fast, bright ones get well! The heart rate in the headphones is quite accurate!
