Great sound bar, easy hook up, easy remote programming. Awesome sound!!

I compared this with the SONOS and decided on the Bose. The sound seemed more crisp and clear along with being a smaller footprint in front of our TV. The Bose Soundtouch 300 sounds good alone (without the Sub module) but sounds great with it pair for the extra low end. One selling point for me was the HDMI (ARC) input since my Samsung LED TV does not pass Dolby Digital through the Optical cable. The SONOS only has the optical input. The Bose Soundtouch 300 gives off some really nice surround sound (without the additional surround speakers) after the calibration is complete. Our TV is in the corner of an open living room/kitchen layout and we always hear surround sounds behind us. The Bose Soundtouch does a great job with reflecting the sound. Another 4 star due to the price. I priced matched (599.99) but still very expensive for a soundbar and then another cost for the sub. Works great with HDMI control so the TV turns the Soundtouch on and off without the need for the Bose remote. Works great with he Bose app for music and plays with our other Soundtouch 10's in the house. Collects dust with the shiny glass surface but looks great!

Easy set up, sounds amazing.. but see flashing lights (wifi; paired) from time to time making it a pain in the rear knowing that you need to update, reset, or turn it off and back on. Very pricey but sound is great. Kinda just let my trust go with Bose on it and I'm happy with it. Waaaay better than the Vizio bar I had.

I had a few lower priced Vizio soundbars over the past few years. I wanted to invest in something really good. After doing a little research I wanted to look at Bose and Sonos. The sales associate persuaded me to purchase Definitive Technology W Studio Micro. I was impressed with the difference in sound compared to my cheaper Vizio but it wasn't worth $600 in my opinion.(they didn't have a floor model to listen to before I purchased it) So I returned it and sampled the Bose soundbar and acoutimass 300, and the Sonos playbar. I liked the Bose from what I heard at the store and when I got it home I was completely impressed. The Definitive Tech sounded "fake" for a lack of a better word, while the Bose made me feel like I was really immersed. This is my first Bose and I have zero regrets spending the money to invest in Bose

I really did not want to spend the money, but I could not stand the sound of lower priced sound bars. I got the sub and surrounds, too. For that amount of $$, i could have had the Sony 7.2.1 with Dolby ATMOS, but the reviews about poor reliability and problems with Sony responsiveness killed any thought.... I would make the same purchase(s) all over again.

I'm in love with the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar, it arrived at my house in a timely fashion and I was amazed with I opened it up. The only problem I have with it is that it does take a bit of time to get it all set up. My daughter loves that the sound makes you feel like you're right there in the action and I love it because it helps me hear all of the sounds even the whispers. I have already recommended the SoundTouch 300 to both my sisters.

The Bose system is easy to set up and sounds great!

As an avid fan of Bose products I am always amazed at what their research and engineering comes up with. Which is why they are the leader in audio products. The soundtouch 300 is surprisingly heavy but looks very nice with the glass top. I use the ARC hdmi with my Sony HDR tv. The sound is so crisp and clear and the design sometimes fools the ears into thinking the sound is coming far to the left or right of the room. It also works very well with my iTunes using bluetooth from my phone. I could not be more pleased. However, the app is very poor. Even when the speaker is on the app cannot locate it. The level of engineering in the app design is nowhere near what the engineers can do with audio.

This item has great sound, and can get extremely loud. The app is not very user friendly.

There really is no comparison in the sound of the Bose 300 Sound Bar and anything else that I have seen or heard. Suppose there could be something, but I have not seen it. Of course, as the saying goes you get what you pay for, and you will pay. Purchased a top of the line 4K TV, so went ahead and bit the bullet, and bought the top of the line sound bar and bass. The web sight at Bose is excellent, but their instructions are horrible. 30 booklets with each in 30 languages. One in English would be great. Go to the web sight for information and from their on to You Tube to save hours of reading and trying to understand and trying to figure out. Yes, I am older. Hope it lasts a long time.

After buying and returning 2 other sound bar setups, I bit the bullet and bought the Bose setup that I liked from the beginning. It has incredible sound when paired with the subwoofer. It's quite pricey, but it does everything I wanted/needed it to do. Initially, I had to call Bose and work with technical service because the sub wouldn't pair. We ended up having to do a full reset, and then it worked like it said in the instructions. It sounds good at all volume levels, and rumbles if you want it to. I'm not sure why the salesmen at Bestbuy don't seem to like the Bose stuff, especially when talking to the Magnolia guy. I thought it was the best by far over anything else(Sonos, Sony, Definitive Technology).

I haven't had any problems with this one ether, that sound with both are great. Sound bar and subwoofer. No wires really and it's only two pieces, so their is no cluter in your house. Thanks....

After buying three other sound bars with subs I ended up with the one I thought was the best in the beginning of my research. I tried to save money and bought an LG system with ATMOS and a high end Samsung system neither of which even came close to the Bose in sound quality, simulated surround, bass and especially sheer volume levels. I tried to save money but in the end I could not settle for less than the Bose unit with the sub. I also have a Bose SR1 which is the Older version of this system. The bass on the new sub is significantly tighter and more accurate. Don’t waste your time on the lesser brands I did it for you.

When my neighbor told me about this sound bar I truly thought it couldn’t be that good. The next day I went to our local Best Buy, asked to hear the SoundTouch of Bose. Needless to say, as the customers heard the lady singing they gathered around to listen. We were all amazed!! Great buy!

We bought the sound bar AND the Sub-Woofer and have been extremely impressed with the sound. Definitely BOSE quality... BUT MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR TV PORTS BEFORE BUYING IT.. This system requires either a HDMI ARC port or an optic port on your TV. If you don't have that, you can't connect it (and trust me we've been working on trying to connect it to our Livingroom TV for about 3 hrs..it's not possible, even after downloading/reading the manual, and surfing the internet) We did connect it to our Bedroom TV with the optical cable and it is AMAZING!! .My husband connected his phone, via bluetooth, to it and was playing music through Pandora... Again, Beautiful clear crisp sound.. and it can be heard in several rooms of the house, without the volume needing turned way up. My only recommendation is just make sure to check your TV before purchasing, to make sure it will connect.

Purchased the Bose SoundBar 300 to replace one I had bought several years ago. What a difference! I was very happy with my older Bose soundbar, but with current technology, this one is even better than I would have thought possible. Very happy with purchase and would highly recommend.
