Technology and sound is really good but too heavy for my ears and getting pain after use of an hour, thought to try for a month to see my ears will use to it but still painful so returning the product. I’m hands free user expect the below features because competitor has that. Ease of use Siri with hands free Mic for each bud and should work independently ( one bud charge and one bud can use simultaneously)

Very good sound as you would expect from Bose. I have been looking for some exercise headphones that stay on your ear and doesn't have to be shoved in. This was perfect. The only negative is that it is bulky and hurts my ears after about 15 mins of wearing. But they stay on my head and sound great. Maybe I will get use to them in the next month or so. Great buy.

the sound is perfect but making calls you can hear them well but the other person hears badly,I called my sister without telling her anything about the new Bose Open earbuds and right away she said why my voice sounded different. And also is bulky for people that has thin ear don't buy it, it might bend your ears.Hoping Bose improves it because everyone should be using open ear headphones for the heath of our ears.

Best product if you don't like in-ear bud

I have tried numerous in-ear earbud in the past 3 years. All of them, no matter how comfortable they market they say their product could be, cause irritation in my ear. This earbud solve all of them. Looking around, the only product getting close is AfterShokz. However, it is using your bone to conduct sound and it doesn't sound the same as what normal air conduction headphone did, which I am used to for tens of years. The sound of the earbud is surprisingly good. I only want the open concept, the sound is likely a bonus. There is poor battery management inside the earbud so it will drain its battery completely in 3 days when turned off. Looking forward for BOSE to improve this in the next iteration. Overall, if you can't stand to be irritated by eartips, this is a must buy.

Really surprised by the sound quality of these. I just did not expect it to be that good. Great for the gym and running. They stay in place and you’ll barely know they’re there. A little pricey, but with open technology there’s not a ton of options. What would take these from very good to great would be a charging case.

So, pros: They sound pretty good, specially since it's not the regular earbud technology. cons: They're super uncomfortable. The whole thing is made up of hard plastic, which ends up giving me the worst ear ache. I'm guessing they're made for a particular ear and mine just wasn't it. So, if you're looking into it, just keep in mind that the fit is very hit or miss.

Are nice but not compatible with iPhone, losing signal and disconnected during phone calls or have a robotic voice when you are taking, also, after 30 minutes I’ve to trying to connect with my phone. Are great only for music because have a good sound. Other than that have a nice look and easy to use, are little heavy and doesn’t have noise control. For the price, I expected more

Very interesting concept. I was very pleased with sound quality. My only complaint was the fit was uncomfortable as they pinched my ears. Definitely worth it if you want to be able to hear your surroundings while simultaneously hearing your music in good quality. If sound quality is not as important, I do recommend the bone conduction headphones by Trekz.

Bose came out with an excellent idea of open ear wireless earbuds and created a product that I was waiting for a long time. I feel that these earbuds much more safer to use them anywhere, compare to any of the in-ear devices. Connecting them to iPhone took just few minutes, and calls are loud and clear on both sides. They sound perfectly fine and most important allowing to be aware of surrounding. Putting them on ears requires a little time to get used to. If Bose made hooks from a flexible material, then it can be more pleasant and easy to wear them. Charging earbuds also is somewhat cumbersome and require separate stationary charging base, instead of having charge them in carrying case. But hope Bose will resolve these issues with next generation of earbuds. As of today, if is very refined product and I use them almost daily.

I normally LOVE Bose and was so excited to try these but they are uncomfortable. They fit so tight it is difficult to get them on. Sound is beautiful and you can pair with a laptop but it is not easy to do or figure out. Have to download the app Bose needs to make is more simple to use

Its been only a week! After trying powerbeats and bose sound sport, I thought I will give open earbuds a try as in the previous ones either sound / call quality was not good or it was not comfortable in my ears. I had very low expectation purchasing open ear buds after reading some negative reviews. To my surprise, this open ear buds is definitely promising. I like the open ear bud style, happy with sound quality listening to music (after getting disappointed with soundsport) and call quality is good as well. concerns - a) wish the over the ear hook is bit more softer (minor) b) wish the case had charging capacity like others in this price point. Need to carry both case and charger now. c) the bose app (on andriod) did not work for me. Tried several times but no luck. Will try recommendations from website.

I purchased these looking for an alterative to earbuds that you have to insert in the ear which I very much dislike. These definitely fix that issue as these sit at the top of the ear and hang outside the ear. Surprisingly they stay put even with movement and are very comfortable. The sound is projected into the upper ear canal to travel down to the ear drums. Though the sound is good it does come across a little hallow sounding. The sound is true and all there but because it doesn't get loud you do have to focus on the music to really hear how good these earbuds sounds. The case is nice but wish it charged the earbuds, you have a separate charging cradle that's a little bulky and awkward. The battery life is just Ok and the app is pretty much useless. Has a control button on each earbud, which are small but easy to find, just Ok. This is one time where I think touch controls would function much better. Not sure I'm going to keep, may return and wait to see what changes are made to the second generation.

I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the battery. It doesn't last 8 hours as advertised. However, the sound including the bass is impressive. And they do stay on during vigorous workouts. I also like the ability to not be completely deaf to what's going on around me while working out.

I don't like how it fits around my ear. IT hurted where it sits on my ear. I had to back it up a little, and it became a little loose. So it=f your not too careful, you can easily lose them. But the over all quality is good. I like bose product.

Work well, a little bulky behind the ears, especially for wearing sunglasses while working out simultaneously. Battery life is pretty short for traveling. Have a nice case, but it doesn’t fit the charging cable, which is proprietary so if you lose or forget you are out of luck.
