I loved my open earbuds! Very comfy! I prefer these over having to put an actual earbud in my ear.

I was disappointed with this product, especially at the price. If was awkward putting them on. They were painful to wear. They fell off whenever I put on my glasses and or face mask. They did not automatically connect with my phone.

The sound on these open earbuds is nothing short of incredible! I've used these on mountain bike rides because I like to be able to hear what's going on when I'm out on the trails. The sound is clear, the base is really good. I've read that the base is not as good as in earbuds but that is to be expected in my opinion. That being said, I have no complaints with the sound profile. Bose recently updated the headphones to allow volume control on the actual ear buds instead of limiting you to volume control on your phone. My one issue with the earbuds is the lack of adjustability around your ear. They are hard plastic so that does limit the fit. They fit mostly ok with me but I could see how they'd be a little uncomfortable after wearing them for a long period of time. Other than that, these are incredible headphones.

I love Bose. I have their Sound Wear (that goes around the neck) & love it! Beautiful sound & amazing bass. Since I can't stand anything inside my ears, I thot I'd give these buds a try for outdoors. Disappointingly, they're super uncomfortable, The plastic for around the ear is way too thick & hard as a rock, so if you wear glasses, don't bother. Horrible battery life, unless mine were indeed defective. For the short time I was able to get the battery working (& put in my contacts), the sound was pretty darn good. I HOPE BOSE PERFECTS THESE, to a soft, thin, & pliable plastic with some battery life, cuz I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Headphones are great, chargering is frustrating

Headphones feel awkward on the ear at first. It takes a little time to get used to the music experience form the headphones. Like the fact I'm able to hear my surrounding environment, while listening to the music. Experience head phones No charging case, charging is done with a sperate charger. So if out and about and headphone and need charging, there is placing them in the case for 10 minutes to a charge. Having difficult time charging headphones, let them sit on the charger for hour or more. When I go to use them within hour or two after removing them the chager. I get messages they are 20% charged. Also there should be light indicating they're being charged and their is no light blinking on the headphones. I like the fact they are not earbud style. Music quality it great for this type of headphone. Workmanship of headphones is week, issue with charging. Only had them over a month now. For the price, the headphone case should double as a charger.

Great sound quality, as always with Bose. Unfortunately, these will be my backup device, as the part that goes behind the ear causes me a lot of discomfort, due to its thickness. Also makes it difficult to wear my glasses.

Exceptional Sound... was quite impressed. Reason why I had to return them was due to privacy during calls...Everyone in the room can hear your phone conversations. seconds they were bulky and would feel heavy on the ear.

Great sound - typical rich Bose sound. Comfortable on the ear- keeps in place while exercising. Only negative is that it doesn’t hold a charge. In 2-3 days without use the battery drains up to 50%+.

They sounded great but they are not for everyone. The fit for me made my ears hurt because the over the ear part is hard plastic and it does not flex. I would have kept them if I could wear them longer then 10mins with it hurting.

Liked the sound, but the fit wasn't good for me personally. I h2avw small ears and they kept falling off. Didn't like the ability for eceryone to be able to hear your conversation. Otherwise they're a great product.

I was hesitant in purchasing this product, considering the 3-4 star reviews provided. I currently have AfterShokz, and have been using it for quite a while. What I was hoping with the Bose Sport Open Earbuds, was a better experience. The audio with the Bose is perfect, it stands up to its brand. What put me off was the design in keeping it stabilized on your ear. It will be a hit or miss, as we all have different ear shapes and sizes. As for me, it was a miss, and this was the only downside for me. I will be returning this item. I do hope that Bose comes out with a better design in the future that's open ear or bone conduction.

if the headphones had a little rubber grip to them also some flexibility n slightly thinner for the part that sits on the back of your ear ...it would of been nice if the case was the actual charger which would keep the earbuds in place... it is not necessary to have a charger and a case that is not magnetic to keep the earbuds in place ....instead of flying everywhere when I open it up...more simple and easier to carry with u Did NOT work well with my note 4 I was not able to adjust the sound louder it was on the quieter side and the app itself could never find the earbuds which was a super disappointment for a Bose product But it work just fine with my iPhone 8 and Mac Pro Fit well and light have to get used to it keep assuming I have to adjust it because it is a different fit...hard plastic n a bit on the thicker side will put too much pressure without knowing at some point it will become bothersome after a long wear

I specifically picked these up for work, as I usually like the "over-the-ear" / can style of headphones, but, I didn't want to completely close myself off from hearing sounds, or, not being able to answer someone if they talk to you! These are outstanding! GREAT sound and comfortable! Minor annoyance, as others have pointed out, is the lack of a case that also charges. I have a feeling I'll be keeping these!

Should be noted this is my first ever review of a product. Not one to complain. Not impressed with these headphones! Biggest complaint is the battery life. Have never gotten 8 hours of battery life per charge yet! Charged these headphones and was not able to use them for a few days and when I put them on the battery was at 70%. Just cannot believe that they don’t hold a better charge not being used. Battery percent when headphones tell me what the battery percent is never match what the app says the battery life should be. Buttons are small and hard to use. Wish you could charge headphones with case. Sounds quality is impressive and what we all have come to expect from Bose! Debating returning and going back to Beats.

      Hi Bryan,

It's great to hear you are impressed by the sound quality of your earbuds! The earbuds will provide up to 8 hours of playback from a full charge, so if you are getting much less than this then the troubleshooting here will help! https://bose.life/3kPEM7e

Not at all satisfied with this product. The lack of a charging case was a enormous oversight on Bose. I keep my headphones in my vehicle and will use them after work prior to going home. On 3 occasions the headphones are not charged as they quickly do not keep their charge when off of the charging base. This oversight could have been easily fixed by a charging case like every other wireless headphone on the market; however, they did not include a charging headphone. The few times that I did get to use the headphones I thought the audio quality was super.

    THE GOLD STANDARD

As a cyclist, I've been looking for the perfect headphones for a while now. I tried cheaper knock-offs, then JBL wireless, then Powerbeats Pro, which were the best of them all. However, the quality of the sound of the Powerbeats I thought was mediocre and the wind noise as I rode was distracting. More importantly, city riding with earbuds is a real danger, especially here in Los Angeles, where you need ALL of your senses to survive traffic. When I heard about these Open Earbuds, I thought, "Okay, it looks like I'm going to drop more cash and just cross my fingers." I received them today, popped them in (they were charged!), paired them with my Apple Watch, and went for a ride. I won't hyperventilate about them, but these are the BEST earbuds I've ever had. The bass is astonishing, as is the overall sound quality, they don't make my earholes itch, the fit is comfortable, and most importantly, I can still hear traffic. I never knew I needed these until I got them. I will only buy Bose earbuds from now on. The. Gold. Standard.
