I've tried a million earbuds, but because my ears are small they are either too big to fit, or fit but hurt after a short time making them useless in the long run. These are the first earbuds that I've been able to wear for hours at a time because they do not have to sit into my ear, rather around it. Sound is great. Definitely not noise cancelling but that wasn't a factor for me. And its my understanding that while they are not in my ear, the noise does not carry excessively for others around me to be burdened by it. Color choice was awesome -- as i hate the white/black options that most carry and this is a bit more seamless. Love them!

Loving my Bose noise cancelingLunar blue on ear earbuds! The sound is amazing, and I have tested many of which do not compare to BOSE sound! I wore them at the gym and could hear and be aware of things around me, but also switching to immerse mode helps to tune out the less pleasant playlist in the gym to my own music and made my work out much more enjoyable, and as a result, helped me work out longer than usual! I love that they are not in the ear, but on the outer part of the ear and the controls are super easy to navigate! Highly recommend these!

Really enjoy these headphones, however they did take some time to adjust, as I’ve always had over head headphones. Now that I’m used to them though, I find it convenient not having to adjust them. They have a long range, so leaving my phone at a workout machine while I grabbed some other stuff was a pro for me (I have accidentally left them in the building and walked to my car.) They are not as loud as my over head headphones but that was to be expected. Overall good sound, good for runs, and battery lasts.

I'm happier with these Buds the more I use them. Purchased them as Open Box as they are spendy and they arrived like-new. I purchased because they were presented as good for music listening. For me the highs, mids are solid and I rate the bass as quite good. For my ears the tips for in-ear buds never secured well so the Bose open ear set up works great. I find them comfortable over longer listening periods. Am using for podcasts also with great results.

Overall I like them for what they are. I have an Iphone so since these arent owned by apple they don't connect as smoothly as beats and airpods. They stay on really well and are very comfortable (issues I had with beats and airpods); so comfortable I accidentally wear them all day bc I forget they are on. Being open ear the volume isn't very loud but that is expected, I never listened to anything at max volume with other headphones anyways. This is my first pair of open ear style. I think the mic quality is pretty good in quiet places but on the phone I get complaints the other person can't hear me well, occasionally. I get asked about them a lot because they look like jewelry.

So, I love the way these earbuds fit, and sound, especially for an open ear, they sound great, but recently, the left one sounds blown with bass, and I can't figure out why ... Time to use that warranty I guess, but if you're active, these are hard to beat for fit.. they will not fall off unless removing a hoodie or something..

TL;DR too expensive for something that is barely mid-quality. This is my first pair of open earbuds and they’re not bad. I was using AirPod Pro 2 earbuds with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, but they kept falling out of my ear—even with all the options for tips and 3rd party tips. These seemed like the perfect thing: attach directly to the ear so they don’t fall out, open-concept so I can still hear my surroundings, and they’re multi-device capable. Sadly, that’s about where the benefits end. Pros: -They never fall out -The battery life is about 6-8 hours per charge -Open-ear design is neat -Sound quality is still decent Cons: -The design can hurt the ears after extended use -They absolutely suck for phone calls (when they actually do connect to the call, people can barely hear me) -Multi-device pairing mostly works, but randomly decides not to work more often than not. -The case doesn’t support wireless charging (as advertised) unless you buy a separate case cover. It is mostly just frustrating to pay this much money for headphones that don’t deliver. I’ve mostly gone back to using my old AirPods and just dealt with them falling out because call quality is better, multi-device connection is more reliable, and I don’t have to worry about them randomly disconnecting from my primary device.

Thanks for sharing your honest experience, it’s really helpful for others considering open earbuds for the first time. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the secure fit, battery life, and open-ear design. Those are definitely standout features for people who want situational awareness and comfort.
That said, your feedback on call quality, multi-device pairing reliability, and the lack of wireless charging without an extra accessory is important.
The microphone issues you're encountering can often be resolved with proper placement and adjustment of the earbuds. Since the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds use an open-ear design, positioning is key to ensuring optimal mic performance during calls. Here's a troubleshooting guide that might help: http://bose.life/4mO3Idl
For the connectivity issues, clearing the product memory of previously paired Bluetooth devices can often resolve the problem. This helps reset the connection and allows for a fresh pairing experience.
Here’s a detailed guide on how to do this: http://bose.life/46ErYdd
Regarding the wireless charging feature, it’s important to note that the charging case is not included by default. Instead, the wireless charging case cover is offered as an optional accessory for customers who prefer that convenience. You can find this information listed under the “What’s in the Box” section.
We hope this clears things up!

I enjoy using these earbuds almost everyday. It’s nice bc they dont get gross the same way regular earbuds do. They also work well if u have a traigus piercing. But kinda hurts if u have a conch, not awful but if ur heavily pierced on the ears then maybe pass idk. Otherwise, really good, great for walks downtown/ shopping alone. Let’s in the perfect amount of noise to still feel aware and vibe at the same time.

These headphones are exactly what my wife needed. She is a runner and these are secure, loud enough for her run, but still allow her to hear her surroundings. She was skeptical for the clip on style but fit well and do not irritate her ears as others have. And it does not interfere with piercings. Highly recommend.

These new Bose open ear buds are pretty awesome. The only issue I've had is the first pair I bought had some static issues randomly. I meant to take them back for an exchange right away but thought maybe I'd wait for a firmware update. Once there was an available update, I installed it and it seemed to fix the issue. However, shortly after the update the right bud stopped charging and connecting. I exchanged for a new pair and have had zero issues thus far. The sound quality is absolutely incredible for being open-ear buds. They connect immediately and and are easy to pair. They charge to full fairly fast and seem to last for a few hours on a full charge. They take some time getting used to. At first they feel a little awkward to put them on but you get used to it pretty fast. I find that sometimes I forget they are even on. With that said, sometimes, after several hours of wearing them, they can feel like they are pinching your ears but a slight adjustment fixes it quickly. Overall I'm quite happy with them. On a side note, my wife bought a pair of the white/silver model and has had zero issues with hers. She uses hers with her Mac and iPhone and I use mine with an Android phone and an LG TV.

These headphones are perfect for anyone that has troubles with in ear headphones. I can wear them all day without any pain which I have never experienced before. The sound is great. I haven't made a call with them yet so I am not sure about the microphone. Sleek and undetected.

Purchased as a Best Buy open box in excellent condition, item came as described. I bought these for the convenience in an office setting. I can hear everything going on around me so im able to react and not continually repeat "what did you say". Soft on the ear but you still some discomfort you need to get used to. My only 2 issues with these are 1. Sometimes when talking on the phone people have a difficult time hearing me and you have to raise my voice. 2. Battery life is about 6hrs, you may want a backup option if you tend to use them during an 8hr work day. Also dont throw out box, you need the QR code. If you can get around these 2 issues id still recommend.

Hi Sandrac, thank you for sharing your experience with the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. We’re glad to hear they’ve been convenient in your office setting, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings while enjoying audio. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the areas where they could perform better.
The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have two microphones in each earbud, and properly wearing them can greatly improve call quality. Blocked microphones may cause poor sound quality for the listener on the other end of the call, so please ensure the microphones are not obstructed by headwear and that the earbuds are positioned correctly on each ear. You can check out this helpful guide for more information. (https://bose.life/4wU6bJJ)
As for battery life, the earbuds are designed to last up to 7 hours with Immersive Audio off, 4 hours with Immersive Audio on, and 3 hours when both Immersive Audio and Auto Volume are enabled. With a fully charged case, you can expect up to 19.5 hours of additional playtime. Charging takes about 1 hour for the earbuds and 3 hours for the case, while a quick 10‑minute charge provides up to 2 hours of use. If you’re experiencing shorter battery life than this, here’s another helpful battery troubleshooting guide. (https://bose.life/4dCvjNz)
Your input is valuable in helping us improve, and we’re grateful you took the time to share it.

these are better than the AirPods because they don't fall out of your ears to have a tantrum on the floor or fall into the sink while you're doing dirty dishes. The sound qualities still allows you to be aware of things going on around you for safety reasons.
