These sound as good or better than the more expensive brands. I am running these off a 200W deck with no amp and they are louder than I need. I am a sound tech and can tell you these sound great.

I decided to replace my boat speakers but I did not want to pay a lot of money. After reading the reviews on these speakers I decided to give them a shot. I cannot believe how nice these speakers sound for the price. I don't think you can go wrong here unles you are looking for some really high end speakers.

I purchased 2 sets of speakers that come in pairs to replace speakers in an outside Island Barbeque. Previously, I had Sony speakers that blew out in less than three (3) years. These Boss speakers were priced very reasonably and after installation they perform better than I could have ever wished for. I would recommend them to my best friends and closest family. The sound separation, looks, and construction quality are impeccable.

I installed (4) of these speakers in my 20" boat this spring. They are powered by an inexpensive 200w (50w x 4) Pioneer DEH-3300UB which I also purchased from Best Buy. I ran 12g speaker wire in case I ever want to add an external amp. Many installers don't utilize marine speakers in boat applications but in my case, as we sometimes get caught in the rain, I wanted a water resistant speaker. I was somewhat skeptical at first, especially at the extremely low price but....... These speakers sound as good as many priced 4 times as much. Sound quality is excellent at low to very high levels. I had to try them fully cranked just to see how they would perform and even at levels much too loud for most they sound fantastic. I highly recommend these speakers for any boat or other outdoor application.

Sounds great, should last for a long time. This replaced another speaker which was marked marine but that unit fell apart.

For the price, there's nothing better on the market. Are they the best speakers I've heard?, no, are they the best speakers for under $30?, you better believe it! These sound as good as $100+ speakers. You can't go wrong with these. PLUS shipping faster than expected. Overall a home run.
