Quite a bit of music I hadn’t heard before, and I own Everything by Jimi.

This is the latest in the Hendrix's releases Janie Hendrix still has a few things she wants to put out. This is a fantastic album I highly recommend.

Hendrix is a legend and it is unbelievable that his music continues to surface and impress from such a short time period.

Anyone who assumes that the music released after Jimi’s death must just be a cash grab is dead wrong! While Crash Landing and Midnight Sun were questionable as to the manipulation of some of the musicians who actually played on the tracks, they were still great records. But everything that has been released by his sister and Eddie Kramer has been a continued revelation into the genius of Jimi’s abilities to play and write music. Not getting a long career out of Jimi is truly rock’s greatest loss. This recording is another beautiful glimpse into what may have been. The Jimi Hendrix Experience lives on...

out of all the tracks on this album, about half of them are different, alternate recordings of songs that most Hendrix fans know and love. but as for the other half - some are songs that have only previously been heard on bootlegs, while the rest are songs that have never surfaced or been known to exist. all in all, for obsessive Hendrix fanatics, this is yet another superb release by the Hendrix estate.

thank goodness that the Jimi Hendrix estate have hours and hours and hours of endless alternate takes, jam sessions, and unreleased tracks in the vaults. Jimi has been gone 48 years, and there are still compilations of recorded material being put out. and for me, any Hendrix recordings, studio or live are welcome.

I have been a fan of Mr. Jimi Hendrix for most of my life. I look forward to these posthumous releases every year and this one does not disappoint! He was an amazing guitarist and this is a sample of what he would have done if he had lived a longer life! RIP Jimi!!!!

I have been looking for a compilation of Jimi Hendrix's music to introduce my daughter to his talents. It was a good price. I saw it later at another retailer for less but it is worth so much... I am truly satisfied with the purchase.

There are 2-3 songs that have been previously released on this album that are available on imported CD's. Most of the material however has not been released previously. The first track is a great track to start a Hendrix album with.

Since buying this. I've read some unflattering reviews of this CD. I think it must be appreciated for what it is. It's a collection of never before released songs that give some insight into the development of some of his works. The recording quality is not very good on some of these songs but there are some jewels here.

This album has 10 previously unreleased tracks from the studio.. it's fascinating hearing different versions that you have never heard for all these years. This is a great album I highly recommend.

Jimi ... truly a genius guitar player and innovator. This release was enjoyable but at this point I feel like we're just listening to different versions of material we already know. Let the man rest and let's celebrate the material he honestly completed and released in life.
