it is a simple flash with no complicated setup buttons like other Canon, Nikon or others. All you need to do is to attach it to your DSLR camera and shoot. You can turn the flash up/down and sideway to allow less or more light. It is small so you can drop in your bag and go. I like it.

Not impressed with this flash. It’s not consistent. But for the price I guess I should have expected that.

Battery case could be better designed. It doesn't stay closed very well during use.

Did not work properly with Canon EOS Rebel XTI

I bought this flash to be used with a Canon EOS Rebel XTI camera because it was supposedly compatible, but it would overexpose every single picture taken with it no matter what mode the camera was set to. I even tried to use the exposure compensation feature on the camera to see if that would make any difference, but it did not. I was very disappointed that this flash would not work with the camera. This is a textbook example of you get what you pay for.
