This light has added great fill-in illumination for indoors and an overall boost for lowlight situations. I have used this light for family portraits and the orange slide filter has proven worthy as adding a warm tone to my images. It's also lite and easy to carry in your camera bag. The battery it comes with is also long lasting. I would definitely purchase this again.

The light produces a great light and comes with 2 filters, unfortunately the adjustable brightness isn't the best but I use max lighting anyway

I use it for photography. I accidentally dropped it in the creek during a photoshoot.... took it home, left it submerged in rice and placed it under heat for 5 min. works just fine again. It's really useful for events at night. Hurts the eyes if you stare directly at it, but they should be staring at the camera not the light... right?

I needed this light for photography portable, not very well lit locations. It worked very well for single subject and couple shooting. I plan to buy an additional light for larger groups.

So I have to be honest. I ended up returning this only because it didn't work for the application I had intended it for. Still a bright light that has great potential outside of a standard camera flash.

I am in love with this light. I have a sony action cam that I use this light with, and like the title said, it doubles the effectiveness of the lens. Especially in a low light situation. Never again will I miss a shot because of low light. It comes with a Lithium Ion battery, charger, and a battery like thing that has an input for a 9v dc power supply. Also comes with a clear diffuser and an amber color correction diffuser. I use the amber one.. its more like a natural light. Its very lightweight, but solid at the same time.. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase

Great product, very useful for any videographer doing live events in dark places (clubs, concerts, sporting events). Very Durable and portable, I bring it to every night shoot. It is a small light and will only light things that are close to you, so it's perfect front stage live action but not ideal for crowd shoots in large distances. I recommend this product but I wouldn't rely on it as my only light source.

Created our own photobooth for a graduation party. This light was the bomb. The party was at night and had no problems with the pics. Everyone came out clear and was sooo easy to use. Charged the battery and lasted over 4 hours.

I heard great things about this product, so i ordered it through bestbuy.com. I received it fairly quick. I tried it once i left the store and it did not work. Took it home because i thought the battery needed charging, but when it was fully charged, it still did not work. I needed this for taking photographs of wildlife in the everglades and now i wont have a reliable light for my nighttime shots. Extremely disappointed
