I need to backpack to places to take some pictures. This tripod supports my large "point & shoot" camera. Center shaft is a little wobbly until you tighten the lock. The quick release is better than more expensive models because it has a rubber mat on it. Adjusts to uneven terrain to support camera easily. Worth the price all around. I would buy this again if needed.

This functions well and it's lightweight which makes it easy to carry around. The heaviest thing I used on it was a camcorder so not sure if it can support something heavier like a DSLR camera, though it probably can. I've used it several times and hasn't failed me. I get compliments from the nice shade of blue this comes in.

I unpacked my tripod expecting at least medium-grade plastic, but I found cheap plastic that was sticking together. The quick-release plate took some manhandling just to pull it out of the tripod because it was so stuck. I doubt this tripod will last me a full year. Pros: Great-ish for beginners. Cons: Cheap plastic, Quick-release plate didn't release before prying it out, legs didn't unfold without manhandling the first time.
