    If you need to connect your GoPro to a standard tripod head, this will do the job. There are metal versions of this product, but this plastic one is much more affordable.

    The threads are a little rough. Difficult to get the tightening bolt started, but once it engages, it tightens down properly. I would recommend it with that limitation.

    *This review is my experience for use with the GoPro Hero 7 Black* I bought this as a cheap alternative to buying a more expensive tripod mount. It gets the job done if you are looking for something to mount to a tripod and for still photos, but I noticed the GoPro frame is not a good fit with the adapter, and after tightening the screw, the GoPro's weight was enough to make the GoPro shift into a new position (basically not a firm grip when tilting). So if you are looking for a stationary mount for normal pictures, this will do the job. If you are looking for something to hold a firm grip at different angles, this is not in my opinion a good option. Summary: 4/5 for still pictures and just a tripod adapter 2/5 for any applications that require you to tilt the GoPro (and need a firm grip) Overall: 3/5
