Having recently finished a room in our basement, we wanted to refresh some of our older surround speakers. We visited the Magnolia demo room and we were blown away by the BW speakers. We started with new bookshelf speakers, then added subwoofer, center and these wonderful surround speakers. We could not be happier with the sound quality. The only caution I would offer is the monopole/dipole option is a bit misleading. There is a pretty good description of the different uses, but I did not realize that changing the switch would result in turning off the unused speakers - meaning when on dipole, the two 'center' speakers are off (no sound) and the two side speakers are used. Likewise, when going to monopole, the side speakers are disabled in favor of the two center speakers. What a difference is makes too, in a good way. I tend to switch them when I'm listening to vinyl, then back when we watch a movie. I cannot say enough good things about Bowers-Wilkins speakers. They are not inexpensive, but are very much worth the investment.

These speakers are great for rear surround but the price is a major downfall.

I was skeptical about these speakers having an option of monopole or di pole for sound. But after installing them I was amazed at the versatility it gives you. Great speakers for the rear surround. Mate perfectly when used with the cm10s.

If you are looking for great sound in all aspects from a surround speaker you have found it.

Works great in bipolar mood for surroundsound but moved it in the basement to replace ceiling speakers They are great by themselves in a small room

Great product love the quality of the sound can not beat BW speakers.

These are to be used for front speakers on a 5.2 surround system. I made the mistake of not buying a subwoofer with these speakers. They need to have a sub. Or just buy the floor or desktop speakers that will do an all around better job for music and movie watching.

II bought these epeakers on a recommendation from a friend. I used them to expand my speaker system from 5.1 to 7.1. They sound as good as my existing M&K speakers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build out or to add to their speaker system.

In my opinion, B&W speakers are the only speakers that truly deliver authentic sound reproduction.

A better cabinet like their book shelf speakers would make this a five star rating. Otherwise these are perfect for surround 7.1.

Bought these speakers as my rears on my 5.1 system with the B&W CM8 fronts, B&W Center... and Dynamo 500 Sub. Highly recommend them....

At first I mixed and matched the speakers and the quality of the sound was effected. These speakers match manufacture of the rest of the system. What a huge difference.

You can never go wrong with Bowers & Wilkins Quality and performance.

This is a great pair of wall mount speakers and I am very pleased with sound and quality.

Just replaced my rear Def tech book shelf speakers with these beautiful B&W's. Difference was pretty evident the moment i switched them on. Iam glad i made a right choice.
