This speaker has a great sound, even if you are in the 2nd floor of your house it sounds clearly and creates a good atmosphere at home. It looks really discrete and elegant at the same time,it is a great value for the price you pay. I just cannot stop playing music on it, and the air play isthe most friendly system I have used until now.

This has to be one of the best speakers I've owned (besides theatre speakers that are triple the size and having more power). It has a lot of bass and is extremely crisp while they do offer the A7, for a bedroom size application the A5 works perfectly. I have used this in a 3 car garage and it sounds crisp from all distances. If you like a lot of bass from a pretty far distance the A7 is for you but for times you will be near the speaker the A5 bass is fine.

Nice design for any place, very elegant. Sound is great, and friendly software to have access to the music. I just installed the app in one device and it automatically replicate the access in other devices. Great value for the price.

Excellent sound system. Compact structure, easily portable. It is high in price, but you get what you pay for in the sound quality.

I purchased Bose Soundlink first, and could not stand the hallow sound it produces. Very glad I got the B&W instead. Day and night difference in terms of sound quality.

This speaker is great - sounds wonderful and wireless is the way to go. The wireless network setup was more difficult than expected.

I am using this in my bedroom and the sound quality is amazing. It covers every single space with very clear and nice sound. I will recommend before spending less on something else invest a little bit of more money on this and you won't regret it because is worth every penny. I love it

Looks great and sounds better. Easy to link up to your wireless network with the B&W app that you can download for Apple products. A little pricey but no more than a Bose wave unit with the IPOD/IPHONE docking station needed to stream your music.

Speaker is top of the line and very clear. I would suggest this to anyone looking for quality.

As above, pretty good for a single speaker. Two speakers would probably sound great.

First of all the Bowers and Wilkins web site is beyond less than helpful in giving the full picture of exactly what this powered speaker is capable of and not capable. Thus how can BB be expected to explain it. I gave my brother my Bose soundlink mini which I loved. I wanted to replace it and thought this might be a good start. Well honestly the soundlink mini has just as good sound quality, won't turn up nearly as loud but the soundlink mini is rechargeable and bluetooth and so convenient. Next I think if you had two of these speakers in a room where you never moved them that would suit its capability much more, say like in your kitchen or den in my opinion. Had I known about this a year ago I would have purchased two of these and put them in my kitchen instead of running wire, buying an extra amp and studio speakers for over top my cabinets which sound spectacular. Overall the sound quality is good, is it worth $500 plus tax. No.
