If you are thinking of a B&W CM series system, go for this center, not for the center 2 cm2, which cost double, and this one sounds perfect for movies

The CM Centre S2 is an excellent speaker for the money. Not quite as hard hitting as the next step in the Bowers & Wilkins line, but not as expensive either. I decided to go with this as it was more than efficient to provide nice crisp sound in my family room. Unless you live in a super sized mansion, this speaker should serve you well.

We selected B&W's CM Center S2 speaker to replace our old Polk center speaker and can now actually hear the actors speaking in movies and TV shows clearly and unmuffled. While this speaker was very pricy, we are quite happy with our choice as it is a solid perfomer and paired nicely with our B&W CM8 loudspeaker system. The piano black case is beautiful and well built - no speaker case vibration or crackling noises.

bigger than most, powerful sound-no muffle sounds!!

A great center channel is worth it's weight in gold for movies. It can mean all the difference. This is a great speaker when matched up to the right front speakers!! My CM8's work well. Great test is the latest Star Wars movie, very busy sound track which can show off your system. It is a great center that replace my Snell center channel.

I have had center speakers before, but they have always sounded like everything was recorded. You know that shifty, rotten, in a room recording. This center speaker sounds like you are actually in the same room hearing what they are saying. Outstanding, never imagined I could hear such quality at these prices.

This was purchased for a small TV room... works fabulous as a center unit....marvelous set up with the other 4 surround Bowers and Wilkins satellite speakers... and Sub....(also...you can really crank these things!) would work great in large rooms as well...

Just upgraded to the B&W CM Centre C2 and matched it up with my CCM 683 front and rear channel speakers, and it sounds great. And the get the extended warranty (9 years total coverage).

This is the perfect size for my cabinet. The CM series of speakers are very accurate, this center channel is excellent with voice and match it matches my bowers and wilkins 803s very well. Overall a great little speaker.

wanted clearer dialogue when watching TV and this speaker provides that. It is rather big but love the B & W sound!

I was headed to buy a Bose system and heard B&D and got it. I'm glad I did the sound is excellent and clear at all volumes. I eventually added more B&D to my system.

There were too many options, and after trying the central speaker I decided to go with the high end stand speakers, no regrets

I have not had it delivered yet, but it seems to be OK in home theater, but near useless in audio (stereo only) mode.

I matched this center to a pair of B&W CM6 S 's . Great response clean clear crisp. outstanding sound. Very happy
