Been a big fan of Bowers & Wilkins products from speakers to headphones! Excellent sound and quality! Can't go wrong!

I was trying to decide whether I should go with floor standing speakers or bookshelves like these, and after hearing these, the decision was clear. Would I have preferred some CM9's? Sure, but for half the price of a pair of CM9's, I couldn't say no to these. They just sound that good. I'm currently using these without a sub and I might end up getting one at some point, but honestly the bass response is good enough on these that I'm in no hurry to get a sub. I will point out that B&W refers to these as "stand mount" for a reason - they are not meant to go on a shelf! On a stand, they really do create a very full sound, as well as giving more versatility than a floor standing speaker- you can choose any stand you like, or as I did, build your own. I was also considering the ML Motion 20, but I personally think the sound is a bit more balanced on the B&W's. I love the brightness that the folded motion tweeters provide on the ML, but sometimes it was a bit too bright, and other songs seemed somewhat "dull" for lack of a better word. The CM5's just seemed to have a very balanced sound across different genres of music.

I was pretty well locked into purchasing a pair of Martin Logan bookshelf models when the Magnolia Rep suggested this pair at a fantastic discount. I couldn't resist the savings and have always liked B&W products. Once set up and calibrated at home, these speakers sound amazing. Very clear intelligibility and no distortion at any level. They will easily fill a medium sized room with accurate audio reproduction, although a sub is needed for a booming HT application. Very happy with my purchase.

Have had other b&w series in the past, these beat them out in sound quality. I will always be a fan of these.

These speakers are as perfect as you can get. The clarity and range is phenomenal. They can handle any power without distortion. I have waited so many years to buy B&W speakers and am so glad that Kendall suggested these from a lesser model. Linked with a subwoofer perfect audio

I love the accuracy and range of sound these little wonders produce. I have a small space and these speakers (with the added subwoofer) fill the place with amazing crisp sound.

I upgraded to the CM5 S2 from the DM610s. The DM610s still sound great for a speaker that is 20 years old. Needless to say the CM5s do not compare with the DM610s. The CM5s also integrated well with my existing B&W speakers thought my home.

Best front speakers I've ever tried. Smooth and crisp! Fill up the whole room with sound.

These speakers provide bright highs and midrange levels the exceed any expectations. Pair this with a quality subwoofer and your in heaven. For smaller rooms these speaker perform perfectly without the addition of a sub.

was not planning on buying these expensive speakers, but while in the store I heard them and the clarity blew me away. They were an open box special so I got them at really great price. These will last a lifetime.

Pleased at how crisp and clear the CM5 S2 is in my home. Playing in a large room with 12 foot ceilings and hardwood floors. Small size powers the entire room

I really like the natural balance of the BW CM5s. These speaker can handle all types of music and are great for home theater use. I use these are my rear speakers and my BW CM6 as my fronts. My other pair of CM5s I use in my home office. These speakers are warm and bright without the heavy bass.

Amazing sound for bookshelf speakers. Sound is much cleaner and wider than their size. Perfect speakers for room with space limitations. Highly recommend.

Don't waste your time with the lower end stuff they have on the floor. These are worth saving your money to buy

Purchased these at the recommendation of the Magnolia salesman. Amazing sound and clarity. Definitely worth the money.
