I previously owned the original P3's, which I loved. These are definitely an upgrade in sound and comfort. I am blown away by these. They sound full and can dish out plenty of bass. They do a better job at reducing outside noise in comparison to the original (I use these when I'm commuting- Nyc subway), due to its leather ear pads. It's just incredible how a sleek low profile pair of headphones have so much power. I also have the P5's series 2- I prefer the sound and profile on these. FYI: I listen to all kinds of music- R&B, funk, disco, classic soul, hip-hop, pop/rock, salsa, merengue, bachata, house, electronic, jazz, world ...all of these genres sound great on these.

Great Premium Headphones for the Money

With many headphones in this price range feeling cheap, I was very surprised with how premium these felt. They are very well made and the sound is exceptional for cans under $200. I will admit that you can buy around ear headphones that will sound a little better at this price point, however these headphones look very professional, so you can wear them in public and still maintain your dignity. The low profile and hard carrying case are great for everyday travel. The headphones themselves seem a little on the fragile side with their thin metal attachments. I've now had these for about 3 years and have seen no durability issues, however I do use the carrying case when taking them anywhere. I've found these headphones to be very comfortable for around 2 hours, that seems to be my time limit with most on ear headphones. These B&W headphones were a great purchase and I'd recommend them all day long!
