The stands are super solid and very easy to assemble. I added dried sand to each column and caulked around the gasket on the inside of the column to prevent any sand leakage. The carpet spikes penetrate well enough so the stand and speaker do not wobble. I used 3M removable glue tabs to secure the speaker to the stand. The are sold in pairs and cost cost a bit more but match the B&W speakers and have a nice "Bowes & Wilkins" insignia on the stand base.

Superior quality. Some would consider it overbuilt. Excellent product as are the speakers that go with it!

I bought these stands to replace some cheap wood stands for my B and W speakers. They are a perfect fit for the speakers and are very sturdy metal stands. They couldn't better.

Solid and sturdy, these stands have great details I was surprised to see at this price point...spikes for carpet and rubber feet for hard flooring, foam cushioning on both ends of the pillars to reduce vibration and a large enough platform for even oversized "bookshelf" speakers. Can also be sand-filled for further dampening. A great value!

These are very high-quality very heavy and I like it that it has the spikes if you are going to put it on top of carpet. You may want to figure out a way to attach the speakers if you have children might have knocked the speakers off a few times.

Solid - love the cavity to fill with sand. A bit expensive for what they are but the finish is nice. Just wish there was a bit more adjustability in the feet to help level on the floor

These are really well constructed Bases. I plan on adding sand or some kind of filler to make them even more sturdier!!!

These are very nice speaker stands. Very sturdy & easy to assemble they look good. I used kitty litter to weigh them down.

I have B and W speakers, so I decided to go with the STAV 24 S2 stands. They were a bit more expensive than other brands, but in my opinion, these are perfect. The top plate that the speakers sit on are the exact size needed for the speakers. The top plates also have spikes for the speakers to sit on. If you have B and W speakers, buy these stands.

These are some of the best speaker stands I have seen. They are easy to put together and heavy. They allow you to fill the base with sand if more weight is desired and they match the B&W speakers they are designed to be used with.

These are solid stands that justify the price differential over less expensive options. When the columns are filled with sand they become a more vibration free and heavy base perfect for B&W bookshelf speakers.

I filled these with kitty litter instead of sand which is what a lot of pro's reccomend. How much this actually affects sound is debatable but I did notice that filling them 2/3's increased the bass ever so slightly on my B&W 605's. These stands look great and match the system perfectly. The box did have one of the floor stand spikes for use on carpet missing but B&W will replace it for me under warranty and this doesn't deserve a deduction of a whole point. Overall these things are as impressive as a pair of stands can be. Both are functional and great looking.

A quality product worth the price. Bowers and Wilkins is pricey but wont disappoint.
