Customers are saying

Customers consistently note that the Treadmill 10 has a wonderful overall performance and a lower noise level than other treadmills. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding the functionality being limited by a paywall and the large size of the product packaging. Some customers have also mentioned the considerable weight of the treadmill and issues with the belt performance.

Very pleased with the sturdiness and size of this treadmill. As a larger man (weight 280) I was looking for something I could comfortably run and walk on without the belt sticking or feeling like I was going to break something. I am a little disappointed in the quality and responsiveness of the touchscreen. Some features of the functionality are locked behind a paywall so that you pay for a monthly JRNY membership. I'm not to interested in that as I plan to hang a TV on the wall across the treadmill. Perhaps I will try it out in the future but at the moment I'm not interested.

Overall, this is a good treadmill for the money. The issues are: 1) you have to subscribe to JRNY to use streaming services. Even if you subscribe to the services on your own. 2) you have to select a workout to stream anything. You cannot simply turn on the monitor stream a show and walk/run. 3) It is HUGE. look at the space you want to put it in carefully. It is much larger, wider, higher than what you imagine. Trust me. I had to pay to have it disassembled and moved into another room. Other than those three issues, it work as directed. The 10" monitor is very clear and clean. The belt movement seems good. The controls all react quick to the touch. The price compared to competitors was great.

    Tablet with treadmill attached

I'm a huge Bowflex fanboy, but this is the first item I have with their smart tablet. I regret the purchase. I thought I was buying a treadmill with a tablet attached, but what I got was a tablet with a treadmill attached. That is a considerable distinction. The treadmill is a five-star, great treadmill, but what lets it down is the tablet. The tablet has to be running for the treadmill to work; no tablet, no treadmill. And by working, I mean connecting to your Bowflex account on the net. In New England, it is not uncommon to have a power outage. We have a gas-powered generator for such occasions. Our local Wi-Fi might be working, but we can not connect to the internet because somewhere down the line, it doesn't have power. You can not use the treadmill, because it can not connect to the servers. WHY? I usually like to work out before I go to work; this gives me a small window before I have to jump in the shower. When I start the treadmill, 7 times out of 10, the tablet is updating, and I can use the treadmill. I pay the subscription, not worried about this at all, but I get the feeling that this whole tablet business is to force you into buying the subscription. I will never buy another Bowflex product with a tablet attached.

Likes.. I like that it is sturdy and there is plenty of space. The programs are excellent and you have many choices. The coaching is very helpful when you need some extra motivation. The noise level is lower than my previous treadmill. The fan and it's location are perferct for not overheating. Disllikes... The monitor could be a little bigger. The monitor is in a fixed position, ot would be better if itvwere easily adjusted for miltiple users. Occasionally I will get a shock from the handles and the sign in process should be shorter.

My review was deleted, or went missing? First, I have had this tredmill for a week, the price has dropped *almost* $300 since purchasing. Second, my husband and I put this together; it will definitely test you. He had a lot of issues getting screw to thread properly with a lot of hole to thread hole mismatch where he ended up having to hold the piece while I threaded it to screw it in or it would stop/catch before it was tight. Third, from reading reviews now, I am assuming it keeps intermittently losing WiFi connection while using the machine where it abruptly STOPS you. You jerk forward and it actually is an extremely uncomfortable experience if you are at a full run and the machine just stops! Then restarts again, but not after stopping (obviously). It's like I am constantly worried it will stop, I will trip and fall (I keep the clip on) then it will start up again. If I keep it on and forward, then down, then it starts again, seems dangerous to have a tredmill do this! I can see the screen pausing, but the entire machine? Just from other reviews you'd think this problem would have been fixed by now! Fourth, I just wanna push the start button, it give me my favorites or suggestioned workouts as an option to choose from and go. I don't want to have to do a fitness test (should be optional), I don't want to have to look for "manual" (which took forever to find at the bottom of the list) then add it to my favorites. I wanted a "normal" treadmill. My husband wanted all of the other "fancy" options. Fifth, you HAVE to have a subscription to use the streaming that you already pay monthly for. I don't need a coach or anything else the subscription comes with. However, my husband likes to watch movies while he runs. Now, if it was so I could use features like *Canvas Student* to watch letures or at leasr screen mirroring so I didn't have to put my tablet on it, I would pay for the subscription after the free year is up without complaint! However, I guess this is a good way to sucker people into buying it. We could have gotten one without a screen and set up a TV infront of it in my opinion, but my husband INSISTED on this treadmill and the quality of Boflex products. Sixth, the heart rate band is like pulling teeth to get it to connect! You turn it on, it detects it, then just says it won't connect no matter how many times you try to connect it. Says it's loading, but stimply doesn't connect, THEN turn it off and on two or three more times to finally gain a connection. Plus, not even the same type as pictured on their website as "included HR band". Seventh, only connects to apple watch?? I have a Samsung watch, so I end up having two bands on (different wrists). For Zwift users I guess this is good, I tried to figure that out too, but it's a member too! Eighth, it was easy enough to set up an account, but you HAVE to have an email. So, you cannot set up an account for just an adolescent without an email, my son was excited to use it and it say his name. He can use guest, but it's not the same experience. Positives, it's a treadmill, with a start button, buttons for acceleration/incline on the main portion, sides rails, and hand grips.

I bought this treadmill mill and after setting it up directly from the box it did not work. It gave a “system failure” notice and a number to call bowflex. I called bowflex and they sent new parts and had someone come out to service it. So for two weeks i had it and could not do anything. It was fixed two days ago and im excited to use it the technician got it to work. If you buy, I would recommend callinf bowflex immediately and setting up your warranty and even getting the extended one.

Quiet! In a condo, you have limited space and if you’re like me, you are conscience of the noise you make. I could walk all night without disturbing my neighbors. Oh boy, this thing is HUGE. There is no way I could get it out the door assembled, if I were to move. At least a foot wider than the door. I bought it for it’s weight capacity, I’d rather not be at or near capacity which would stress the machine when I invested so much money into it. I love it :)

The treadmill is heavyduty and seems as if it will last a long time. Components seem to be made of quality materials. Unfortunately the operating system on the tablet is garbage. You can't use the treadmill without going through the touchscreen tablet. It crashes frequently. It will start an update mid workout without giving you the option to update later. I just want to get on and run but the aggravation of dealing with the clunky software is very disappointing.

The Bowflex Treadmill 10 is not working as planned. The belt sounds like a car going over a bridge. A screw is lose somehere. This is my 3rd Bowflex treadmill. The third party Best Buy used to deliver my treadmill the owner or manager doesn't know how to talk to customers. The third party just put it together and leave.

This was the exact treadmill I wanted but I wish I had been able to do a few workouts on it before I bought it. To use a lot of the features, you need the jrny app and subscription which is $20/month. It’s not a cushy I I hoped. The walking through different places wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be. I still need to try others out. So far it’s just ok. I like how quiet it is.

We were told that it would fold all the way up, but it doesn't it folds exactly like in the picture, slanted. The screen wires have been making a fuzzy sound. So far we have enjoyed the journey app because it came with a free trial for 1 year. Its not as easy to use if you just want to get on and walk. You have to sign in and go through all of it before you start walking.

First off, assembly is quite the process, and not all of the holes match. Used a drill to fix minor errors, otherwise assembly would not be possible. Second, once you have the machine ready to go, it requires a subscription and it wants you to sign up for other services. You can’t just hop on and use it. Kind of a bummer for such an expensive treadmill.

Solid treadmill. I like the ability to incline and decline. After a few weeks the left handle seems to have a short. I've taken it apart to make sure I have no bare wires but still doesn't work. Now if you push any button on the left side the panel freezes. You have to manually turn off the unit by the front switch. Plus your stuck at whatever speed the panel froze. Disappointing to say the least.
