    I’m not an experience runner but was looking for something that is sturdy and have the latest technology in addition to both incline and decline. This treadmill has all the bells and whistles that I personally wanted. It is a bit costly but compared to other recommended brands as sole abs Nordic track. This bowflex model was at a decent price.

    First, I have had this tredmill for a just a week, the price has dropped *almost* $300 since purchasing. Second, my husband and I put this together; it will definitely test you. He had a lot of issues getting screw to thread properly with a lot of hole to thread hole mismatch where he ended up having to hold the piece while I threaded it to screw it in or it would stop/catch before it was tight. Third, from reading reviews now, I am assuming it keeps intermittently losing WiFi connection while using the machine where it abruptly STOPS you. You jerk forward and it actually is an extremely uncomfortable experience if you are at a full run and the machine just stops! Then restarts again, but not after stopping. It's like I am constantly worried it will stop, I will trip and fall (I keep the clip on) then it will start up again. If I keep it on and forward, then down, then it starts again, seems dangerous to have a tredmill do this! I can see the screen pausing, but the entire machine? Just from other reviews you'd think this problem would have been fixed by now! Fourth, I just wanna push the start button, it give me my favorites or suggestioned workouts as an option to choose from and go. I don't want to have to do a fitness test on set up, I don't want to have to look for "manual" (which took forever to find at the bottom of the list) then add it to my favorites. I wanted a "normal" treadmill. My husband wanted all of the other "fancy" options. Fifth, you HAVE to have a subscription to use the streaming that you already pay monthly for, yes, this is listed everywhere. I should have looked into the PRICE of the subscription of this service, especially since I knew I wouldn't need anything else. I don't need a coach or anything else the subscription comes with. However, my husband likes to watch movies while he runs, he hasn't used the coach, but he might one day. Now, if it was so I could use features like *Canvas Student* to watch letures or a screen mirroring so I didn't have to put my tablet on it, I would pay for the subscription after the free year is up without complaint! However, I guess this is a good way to sucker people into buying it. We could have gotten one without a screen and set up a TV infront of it in my opinion, but my husband INSISTED on this treadmill and the quality of Boflex products. Sixth, the heart rate band is like pulling teeth to get it to connect! You turn it on, it detects it, then just says it won't connect no matter how many times you try to connect it. Says it's loading, but stimply doesn't connect, THEN turn it off and on two or three more times to finally gain a connection. Plus, not even the same type as pictured on their website as "included HR armband". It doesn't have a screen like it looks like it does on the Boflex website, it has an on button and blinking light to say it's on. Seventh, only connects to apple watch?? I have a Samsung watch, I thought (wrongly) maybe since it didn't use the same iFit and used other options it might have more freedom with app usage, so I end up having two bands on (different wrists). Zwift "Compatible Smart Device Apps" is what I [assumed] allowed me to connect my watch; if there is a trick to this that I am missing, I did google it and look on the Zwift website, maybe my smart watch needs replaced, but it has worked for the almost two years I've had it without issue. Eighth, I wish it allowed for set up of added accounts without an email. My oldest son would like to use it, we could use guest, yes, but he really liked it would say someone's name if he picked a work out with a coach. That alone and seeing him want to exercise would also make me happily keep a subscription. Positives, it's a treadmill, with a start button, buttons for acceleration/incline on the main portion, sides rails, and hand grips. Bluetooth enabled for smart devices works for playing my lectures through the speakers. Easy enough to set up a secure account.

    This is a great treadmill for the money. It is very simple and doesn't have all the bells and whistles a 'gym' type treadmill would have but it works great for my needs. Assembly: It was very easy to put together - for one person, with an occasional second person to hold a piece in place for a few minutes. Workouts: the treadmill has 20 different workouts with set times of 20 or 30 minutes plus a manual setting for different speeds and inclines which is all I needed. Heartrate Monitor: The heartrate monitor work properly on this treadmill. Noise: The treadmill is very quiet, it does not squeak as I have seen in other reviews and the belt does not catch on the sides as I have seen in other reviews. Design: It's sturdy, seems to be well bolt. Many reviewers felt the cover on the motor itself is too far back which causes them to kick the plate while running or walking, this will happen if you walk too close to the plate or try to hold on to the treadmill while using it. It is my understanding that you should not hold on to a treadmill while using it, so I am far enough back on the belt that I don't kick the plate. Connectivity: I have connected my iPad to the console and the sound comes through the speakers (the speakers are good in my opinion). All in all I give this one 4.5 stars. I will come back and re-review should anything change.

    Overall, this is a good treadmill for the money. The issues are: 1) you have to subscribe to JRNY to use streaming services. Even if you subscribe to the services on your own. 2) you have to select a workout to stream anything. You cannot simply turn on the monitor stream a show and walk/run. 3) It is HUGE. look at the space you want to put it in carefully. It is much larger, wider, higher than what you imagine. Trust me. I had to pay to have it disassembled and moved into another room. Other than those three issues, it work as directed. The 10" monitor is very clear and clean. The belt movement seems good. The controls all react quick to the touch. The price compared to competitors was great.

    This has got to be one of the best treadmills I have every used at home or the gym. Its easy on my knees and so far it works really well. It would have gotten 5 starts, but its just so big. And I think they could have made it more compact when you fold it up. I don't think they designed it to fold far enough. Thus I took away a star. However if you have the room I highly recommend. It did take a couple hours to put together and its heavy so make sure you have a helper.

    The Treadmill itself is great but the main selling feature called explore the world freezes up. I'm trying to give them time to fix it because its such a hassle to have it replaced. I was so excited about this treadmill . I would give it a 1 star but I like the sturdiness of the product. The apps are the problem.

    Why does this treadmill suck so much!! Always when im trying to finish my workout it stops working and a "Console disconnected "pops up on the screen and I have to reset and start over!!!! Its an expensive treadmill for it to be doing this and I haven't even had it for a year and plus you have to pay for membership $20 a month if you want to use netflix on screen smh!!

    Great quality treadmill! First of all we were skeptical of investing $2k plus for a treadmill but honestly there are not many good options for a quality treadmill that has features like this one. We like 4CHP motor and power it brings in, ability to go from -5 to + 15 incline is great, especially having minus incline is super cool for cool down or just take an easy walk. The belt seems like very high quality that could last years. 10inch monitor is good enough for following explore the world app or other details. BestBuy did a great job with quick delivery. Been using this for more than 2 weeks and we are happy with the purchase. If you have any other Bowflex equipment that supports JRNY app then you are making best use of subscription costs.

    While the adaptive training program is very good, the treadmill has issues. I find the incline stops working at times and then corrects itself after rebooting the JRNY system. The biggest issue is the safety key. When the key is fully inserted, the treadmill doesn't recognize it. I needed to get the key partially inserted and tape it in place which totally nullifies the purpose of having a safety key. It can take up to an hour to get the key inserted and working, so we forgo the safety feature.

    Running longer is more fun

    I've used this treadmill about 6 times so far and am loving every run. The software took about one or two runs to get used to but I really appreciate all the stats given on the screen and the occasional praise from the trainers. The belt is comfortable and incline is nice. The speakers are garbage so don't expect anything great from that, but can easily be remedied with your own earbuds or external speakers. The heart rate tracker is also very helpful to stay in the right zone during long runs.

    I bought this treadmill last summer. It's mechanically great, but the software and subscription requirement business model make me regret my decision. A treadmill should be a treadmill. It should have a primary manual mode that doesn't require wifi or a monthly fee. Requiring $20/month for full functionality means I don't own the treadmill, I'm renting it, and it's impractical to keep for 10 years. The "Pay in full, but still make payments forever" model is infuriating. The software is also bad, it CONSTANTLY logs me out. There's nothing more frustration than trying to remember and type my full email and password for the first 5 minutes of my workout. The treadmill is in my bedroom, it should stay logged in indefinitely.

    Good Treadmill after 3 weeks of use. Would have received 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of doing what best buy said they would. The treadmill was to be delivered in house but the delivery persons said they would only put it in the garage.

    I bought this treadmill mill and after setting it up directly from the box it did not work. It gave a “system failure” notice and a number to call bowflex. I called bowflex and they sent new parts and had someone come out to service it. So for two weeks i had it and could not do anything. It was fixed two days ago and im excited to use it the technician got it to work. If you buy, I would recommend callinf bowflex immediately and setting up your warranty and even getting the extended one.

    Speed control doesn't work and it's apparently a software issue. In order to change speed you need to set incline to 9. And it's definitely not a wiring issue but software because speed changes on display. Customer support sent me a main unit replacement but it behaves exactly the same.

    The treadmill is really nice and fun to use. The software is horrible. I have the jrny subscription free for a year and it's fairly useless and I mainly just use manual mode (which takes 5-6 selections on the screen before you can even use the treadmill in manual mode). The only graphics available on the screen is the calories per minute burned. Can't change it to anything else and everything else is tiny numbers at the bottom. All of my issues are software related and Bowflex could fix them easily if they wanted to. Also, it seems that the jrny workouts don't control the speed or incline, they just show you a range of calories per minute you should be hitting and you have to adjust the treadmill speed and incline yourself.

    Poor Electronics, good mechanical build

    Within just two years of occasional use, my treadmill is already experiencing issues—specifically, the buttons are getting stuck. I’ve thoroughly troubleshot every possible cause, including checking for moisture and wire disconnections, but nothing has worked. When I reached out to Bowflex for a solution, their only response was to replace the Controller Display, which costs around $500! This is beyond frustrating. I have taken excellent care of the treadmill—no dirt, no moisture, just careful use—yet it’s failing way too soon. Currently, both the speed ergonomic arm buttons are unresponsive. I’ve checked continuity all the way to the adapter board that connects to the display console, and everything checks out fine. Using the factory utility app, I ran an individual test for external buttons, which confirmed that the speed ergonomic button is unresponsive. This suggests the issue lies either in the adapter board or the Android display console. If I don’t get a reasonable response from the Bowflex team, I’ll have no choice but to take troubleshooting to the next level. I may even document the entire teardown in a YouTube video to help others dealing with this frustrating issue. Customers shouldn’t have to go through this much trouble for a premium product!

    Solid Treadmill

    Super heavy box. Needed pros to get it in the basement. Then took about 2 hrs to fully install the machine on my own. Overall good treadmill. I am getting a good workout. However I wish there was a power button on the screen but you have to manually switch off. Also, it kinda takes a bit for it to boot up from power off. Moreover, you need subscription to access their programs on screen. Lastly, the speed and incline buttons are kinda slow adjusting. Overall, pretty satisfied, couldve been a little bit cheaper though.
