The Treadmill itself is great but the main selling feature called explore the world freezes up. I'm trying to give them time to fix it because its such a hassle to have it replaced. I was so excited about this treadmill . I would give it a 1 star but I like the sturdiness of the product. The apps are the problem.

While the adaptive training program is very good, the treadmill has issues. I find the incline stops working at times and then corrects itself after rebooting the JRNY system. The biggest issue is the safety key. When the key is fully inserted, the treadmill doesn't recognize it. I needed to get the key partially inserted and tape it in place which totally nullifies the purpose of having a safety key. It can take up to an hour to get the key inserted and working, so we forgo the safety feature.

I've used this treadmill about 6 times so far and am loving every run. The software took about one or two runs to get used to but I really appreciate all the stats given on the screen and the occasional praise from the trainers.
The belt is comfortable and incline is nice. The speakers are garbage so don't expect anything great from that, but can easily be remedied with your own earbuds or external speakers. The heart rate tracker is also very helpful to stay in the right zone during long runs.

Why does this treadmill suck so much!! Always when im trying to finish my workout it stops working and a "Console disconnected "pops up on the screen and I have to reset and start over!!!! Its an expensive treadmill for it to be doing this and I haven't even had it for a year and plus you have to pay for membership $20 a month if you want to use netflix on screen smh!!

Good Treadmill after 3 weeks of use. Would have received 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of doing what best buy said they would. The treadmill was to be delivered in house but the delivery persons said they would only put it in the garage.

I bought this treadmill last summer. It's mechanically great, but the software and subscription requirement business model make me regret my decision. A treadmill should be a treadmill. It should have a primary manual mode that doesn't require wifi or a monthly fee. Requiring $20/month for full functionality means I don't own the treadmill, I'm renting it, and it's impractical to keep for 10 years. The "Pay in full, but still make payments forever" model is infuriating. The software is also bad, it CONSTANTLY logs me out. There's nothing more frustration than trying to remember and type my full email and password for the first 5 minutes of my workout. The treadmill is in my bedroom, it should stay logged in indefinitely.

Only a week out of the box, the speed up on the handlebar stopped working. Woman bowflex customer service had me unplug the handlebar so it would be “useable”
(Not sure about most of you reading this… I don’t have an extra $2000 for a “useable” treadmill after having it a week)
The 2nd week I had it, the speed up on the sidebar went nuts. Regardless of what speed you were at, when you hit the speed up, it would go to 4.1
A couple days later the incline up would just go directly to 3.0. After a while… no matter what button you push on the panel, the incline would automatically go to 3.0.
The belt still running after the “Workout Complete” screen was the last thing to go wrong before I returned it to Best Buy.
I always thought that Bowflex was a quality product/brand… I was wrong.

Speed control doesn't work and it's apparently a software issue. In order to change speed you need to set incline to 9. And it's definitely not a wiring issue but software because speed changes on display.
Customer support sent me a main unit replacement but it behaves exactly the same.

The treadmill is really nice and fun to use. The software is horrible. I have the jrny subscription free for a year and it's fairly useless and I mainly just use manual mode (which takes 5-6 selections on the screen before you can even use the treadmill in manual mode). The only graphics available on the screen is the calories per minute burned. Can't change it to anything else and everything else is tiny numbers at the bottom. All of my issues are software related and Bowflex could fix them easily if they wanted to. Also, it seems that the jrny workouts don't control the speed or incline, they just show you a range of calories per minute you should be hitting and you have to adjust the treadmill speed and incline yourself.

Super heavy box. Needed pros to get it in the basement. Then took about 2 hrs to fully install the machine on my own. Overall good treadmill. I am getting a good workout. However I wish there was a power button on the screen but you have to manually switch off. Also, it kinda takes a bit for it to boot up from power off. Moreover, you need subscription to access their programs on screen. Lastly, the speed and incline buttons are kinda slow adjusting. Overall, pretty satisfied, couldve been a little bit cheaper though.

Seems to be a pretty good treadmill. I don't like that you arent able to use the screen for disney or netflix unless you have a subscription to the fitness program. Seems a little wobbly but our basement floor is also very uneven which may be more of the problem then the machine. It does pretty well with hard, fast running as far as stability.

Seems very well built, assembly was pretty easy with the exception of the last two screws you put in for the hands that have the heart rate built in, they were a little tricky but not to bad. We have not had time to get subscription going so I can't comment to that yet. Only reason I am not giving a 5 start is it is a little bit of a pain to have to log in every time. Most days not a big deal but there is times it would be nice to just be able to turn on and manually adjust speed and incline and get a 10 minute run in.

The software is super slow and buggy. After and update, the treadmill went from 2 speed to 7 speed during one of my workouts. You are not allowed to use Netflix without subscribing monthly to their plan. You cannot use the functions without the screen being on. Sometimes it does not record your results, or it just stops working when you're in the middle of a work-out. I got it because it was the only treadmill in my price range in the middle of the pandemic. Look elsewhere for a treadmill.

Within just two years of occasional use, my treadmill is already experiencing issues—specifically, the buttons are getting stuck. I’ve thoroughly troubleshot every possible cause, including checking for moisture and wire disconnections, but nothing has worked. When I reached out to Bowflex for a solution, their only response was to replace the Controller Display, which costs around $500!
This is beyond frustrating. I have taken excellent care of the treadmill—no dirt, no moisture, just careful use—yet it’s failing way too soon. Currently, both the speed ergonomic arm buttons are unresponsive. I’ve checked continuity all the way to the adapter board that connects to the display console, and everything checks out fine. Using the factory utility app, I ran an individual test for external buttons, which confirmed that the speed ergonomic button is unresponsive. This suggests the issue lies either in the adapter board or the Android display console.
If I don’t get a reasonable response from the Bowflex team, I’ll have no choice but to take troubleshooting to the next level. I may even document the entire teardown in a YouTube video to help others dealing with this frustrating issue. Customers shouldn’t have to go through this much trouble for a premium product!
