Customers regard the Treadmill 7's build quality and incline features very positively, with many praising its sturdy construction and smooth incline operation. However, the software and interface received considerable criticism for being unreliable and slow, impacting the overall user experience. Some users also experienced issues with the console and tablet functionality. Despite these drawbacks, the treadmill's quiet operation and ease of assembly were frequently highlighted as positive aspects.

Its a great treadmill till the software starts acting up and you have to waste so much time trying to reboot the treadmill for it to work. The JRNY software keeps on trying to update and never does it successfully and just end up rebooting multiple times and hope for it to come up properly.

It is a very sturdy, well built treadmill, and it has a max speed of 12mph, when many cheaper ones max out at 10mph. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the software. It comes with a one year subscription to their software, and you can use the treadmill basic functions without it, which is what I want and I'm good with. But you can't just jump on and run, you have to go through multiple options on the touchscreen to start the manual run. Hopefully they build in a shortcut in a future OTA update. WIth that, I'd give it five stars.

I honestly hate this thing. Here is why.
When technology gets in the way of my workout there is a problem. Not only is this treadmill expensive but then you can't use any of the bloat features with out paying hundreds of dollars a year.
Jrny makes it so complicated to get a workout started. It makes it even more complicated if you have multiple people using it!
Here is the process you have to do just to start a manual workout and you are not the one signed in.
Tap user icon
Tap user

Choose your user profile
Enter your email address
Enter your password
Select Ok
Tap on Favorites (assuming you added "Manual workout to Favorites)
Select manual workout
Select OK to confirm manual workout
Select Skip for the media content
Select Start workout
This is the dumbest treadmill. Take all that garbage away and just allow me to hit the big green START button on the handles and just start the workout!
Not only that but sometimes the app will crash while you're mid sprint and reboot, then you lose all your workout tracking anyways!
It's a solid treadmill plagued by a weak interface. I'll never buy another of these again.

The running deck is incredibly comfortable and the treadmill works amazing - as long as the tablet that controls everything is working - it gave me a lot of errors that required the machine to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset. Eventually that stopped working all together and had to be replaced with a new treadmill. Love bowflex but this treadmill could use less technology.

Got a great deal on this and upgraded my old treadmill. However, had I not got a deal, I would NOT recommend this. If you pay more than $1,000 it is too much! It is sturdy, and stable. Software is good overall but, it's internet dependent if you want to use the JRNY features. The Wi-Fi connection is bad. Since purchased, I have lost connection about 10x. Therefore the workout isn't saved. That is my biggest grievance. Not to mention the occasional update. UGH!
It is a decent treadmill but NOT worth $2400 new.
Other thoughts: buttons could be bigger, fan could be adjustable. It is a little creaky but overall fairly quiet once using.
I will not continue using the JRNY program once my free trial is done.

This machine is a best and can go really fast. The one major flaw I would say is the software involved with it. That and the push for you to have a JRNY membership. Thankfully 1 year comes included with the purchase, and it isn't mandatory to have to use the Treadmill.

Don't buy this treadmill after the first year your going to need a new console it will give you a base connection error and the next year right after your warranty is expired it will give you the same message but without a warranty now your going to pay for any repair or the new console, no body wants to take responsibility in the customer department, for the amount of money your paying is not worth it paying every year for the same console this is the worst treadmill ever you can buy something cheaper that will last for many years, my treadmill is not damaged at all. I was very happy when I bought it and now I regret it, it's only to years to have to replace to consoles. It's a scam

Great machine easy assembling but time consuming. This is a solid attractive durable machine. Giant box to dispose of makes professional assembly worth it. Box will cost a lot to haul away.

Gone wrong... console didn't work upon assembly... but WORST of all: best buy's warranty. What a pain! Took a whole 3 months to solve this, had to order another treadmill (pro form) and guess what? Buttons below console have connection issues. To workout you need to keep the start button pressed. Imagine that!
I'm not sure if this is the brand, best buy, or the delivery service... we just know we learned our lesson with best buy...

I had purchased on Amazon on Prime Day, and Best buy smoked their price ( almost half the price!) a week later, so I bought it from Best Buy and sent back Amazons. Great deal!
I have had terrible luck twice with both Adidas and Rebook treadmills, so this is my third in 5 years. ( both priced MSRP just below $1000)
I spent a lot of time researching this on Prime Day before buying. This model is a "retailer only" so it is pretty hard to find information across the internet, as well as it being a newer unit.
The BIGGEST concern for me, was durability followed by expense. I rather spend a bit more on this, than get a sub $1000 treadmill just to have issues down the road. (Best Buys Sale was FANTASTIC, just under 1k)
Positives:
1. Large Rollers, much larger than most residential treadmills, at 2.75". For runners it is recommended at least 2.25" rollers. Large rollers reduce wear on the bearings, require less tension on the belt, less or no belt hesitation, and longer belt life. Cheaper Treadmills can be as small as 1.5".
2. Triple Ply Belt - cheaper treadmills often have a 1 or 2 ply belt, which reduces its longevity and makes it prone to wear quicker.
3. Push button Drop - I keep my treadmill in mu living room, so it is folded when not in use. The Bowflex system is nice, as rather than having to "kick" the piston, it as a locking mechanism released by the giant red button. This provides a much easer way to lower the deck than a traditional treadmill where you must kick/push the piston inward while lifting to get the locking to release.
4. Heart Rate Monitor - this includes a arm worn heart rate monitor that matches my Apple Watch reading almost exactly. It allows for a readout of your heart rate on the screen, which is convenient.
5. Quiet Operation - This is set right again the wall of a bedroom, and they can't hear it in operation, even with a light jog, so that is great if you worry about disturbing others.
6. Warranty - The warranty is on par with what I expect for a treadmill with a MSRP over $1000
7. Fan - although it is weak, this is the FIRST out of 3 treadmills I can actually feel the fan. It isn't super powerful, but it is enough that you can feel it.
8. Assembly - SUPER easy. Took me less than 45 minutes from boxes to assembled
Negatives:
1. Plenty of storage / space, but awkward design - the places for water bottles was not though out, it seems like it was an afterthought. plenty of space, it just all has a weird design and layout
2. Plastic trim is garbage - All of the trim for the legs and arms, is poorly designed, feels cheap, and is awkward to install. I spent more time on the trim pieces during assembly than anything else.
3. JRNY - although I didn't have issues getting started without a membership ( many JRNY products seems to lock out users prompting for a subscription) it is overpriced and locks the streaming apps behind this paywall. Not huge for me, because I use a 12" iPad, but this would upset me a bit more had I bought one of the upper models with larger screens, and was unable to use half the functions without a subscription. *EDIT* If you do not sign up on the tablet, but use the included code on the website you get 6 months free. This allows you to import workouts to Apple Health seamlessly.
Overall, I have owned this for a month and am happy. Time will tell if it holds up. The Amazon delivery guy said this was the heaviest he had delivered ( which I can attest it is hefty, as I helped get it up stairs, as well as Picked up the one from Best Buy and moved it with 1 other person)
It is a shame that Bowflex / Nautilus has locked streaming apps behind a JRNY membership. This removed any temptation for me to buy one of the ones with a huge display, as it would be useless without a JRNY membership.
I will update this review after 6 months of ownership.

Great piece of equipment that was easy to get delivered and installed hassle free via the Geek Squad. It is very easy to use though you have to set up individual profiles for those that will be using the equipment. The other good thing about this treadmill is that you can fold up the deck to help with potential space constraints. Overall, the equipment is quite which is great if you plan on running and watching TV. Enjoy.

It is heavy (compared to my past treadmills). But once assembled, it is fairly easy to move with the wheels. It hasn't dented the hard wood either.
The parts feel robust and quality is good so not worried about breaking down.
When running, the width of the treadmill seems thinner. Incline works great and feels soft when running.
The user interface is a bit confusing (this could be improved significantly.

Overall I’m very satisfied with the Bowflex treadmill. The quality of the product is great. I have to say I do love the screen. It gives you different workout option. Personally I love watching Netflix and working out. My wife and I put the treadmill together ourselves. Honestly it was not that hard. Took about 45-1hr to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow. I’ve had for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it.

Very good machine. Would rate it a 5 star except the console power button on back restarts machine after selecting power off. Other than that everything works great. It was easy to install taking only an hour. Wifi is needed for initial setup. Very quite, sturdy and nice looking treadmill.

I love this treadmill. It has really nice cushioning so my joints don't hurt after running on it. The only reaper downside is how small the text is on the screen. No biggie if you have great eyesight but I struggle a little bit to see. Overall the nicest treadmill I've owned!

It's a little slow and clunky.... the response time isn't the best BUT once it is on and moving, it does what it is intended to do. it has a large enough space for your tablet or other personal device for movie/learning while walking or light jogging.... lots of space to store weights
