This stop motion animated film is a wonder and needs rpet viewings jut to see all the work done by the artists that worked years in tiny room making beautiful mgic with their armitures and beautiful backgrounds. Nice story, great for all kids through adults. Stunning beuty, great creativity!

This movie is enjoyable for adults because it's so well done, and is very immersive in its fantasy world. It has a good balance of occasional adult jokes but without that odd undertone that makes you question whether you would ever let a kid watch it. Great for people of all ages!

My kids LOVED this movie and thought it was hilarious! That alone is reason enough to check it out! But even for adults, I found myself laughing throughout the movie. I would definitely recommend this movie for a great family movie night or even for an adult who's still a kid at heart.

The production design of the puppets and backgrounds was extremely well done. Also, the puppets were very well animated. My only criticism would be that the story needed more clarity and could have been tightened and the British accents tend to muddle some of the dialogue.

This movie was an okay stop motion film. Appeals more to boys. I also believe it's for older children as some scenes could bother younger ones. It contained some positive themes such as caring for others and dare to be different and accepting those that are different.

I bought this movie for my niece and after we both watched it, I realized that it was a movie worth having in our collection. My niece gave me the digital copy while she gets to enjoy the Blu Ray disc. It's worth having in a movie collection for kids to enjoy.

I bought this movie with the intentions of my twin grandsons watching it. They have...many times over, and the rest of the family has enjoyed watching it too! It is nice that there are some wholesome movies still being produced for a family to watch!!

A very good movie for children and adults. It's very entertaining and my grandson loves to watch it. I bought the Blu-ray set so when my grandson goes for a long ride or trip he can watch it on the dvd player in the car. But really a great movie.

I bought this to sit with the grandkids and have a movie night with popcorn. I'm not sure but I think I enjoyed it more than they did. Was amazed during the credits that it showed how it was filmed. You'll have to watch it yourself to find out.

This stop-motion animated feature is nominated for an Academy Award for a good reason. The story has a great moral base and is wonderful for the whole family. The "how they made it" special feature is well worth the extra bucks for the Blu-ray.

I consistently get great service every time I shop at Best Buys in Vallejo. The staff is very knowledgeable and if they don't have what I am looking for they are eager to locate it at another store or let me know when more product will be in.

My wife and I got this for our 5 year old and we all really enjoyed this movie. The story and voice acting were great. I'm a big fan of stop-motion films and this one didn't disappoint me at all. The characters and sets were very well done.

I really love stop motion animation so when a stop motion film is released I know instantly I am going to buy it no matter what the reviews or critics say. I never really heard anything negative about this film but I also never heard anything say anything amazing about it. There is no doubt that this movie is simply beautiful and full of some great images and details. The bad part is that the story lacked a far bit. I didn't really enjoy any of the characters or care what happened to them. I'd rather listen to the commentary track the next time so I can learn more about the making of the film since that is far more interesting to me than the story.

I wasn't really all that interested in seeing this movie, but it turned out to be much better than expected. It's interesting, has a great voice cast, and is surprisingly progressive. The gruesome ending sure caught me by surprise.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. The animation was very different but the story is so cute and the characters are very lovable. My 2 year old son absolutely loves this movie and watches it several times a week.

I brought my son to this when it was in theaters. He really wanted to watch it. It is from the people who did coraline, and paranorman. It is a little dark for kids like the previous two, and the movie is predictable, but good.

I was surprised how engrossed my daughter was in this movie. It passed the daughter test, and it was actually pretty entertaining. Shes a fan of all the movies from this studio (Coraline and Paranorman being the other two).

The movie is very entertaining. I really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars because there were moments when the language accent was so strong that I couldn't understand what the character was saying. Otherwise...Great Movie!

Good movie for the whole family. Good bonus features interview with voices behind Boxtrolls like Nick Frost and Tracy Morgan. Also, there is an interesting bonus feature about the making of the movie.

Entertaining but somewhat disappointing. Moments of absolute genius but overall lacked something. Maybe too many scenes about cheese. Maybe you have to be British to understand the value of the cheese scenes.
