This movie is stunning visually and the story is great for children and adults a like. This will be a favorite in our household forever. A timeless classic that has been on repeat already!

The Boxtrolls, loosely based on Alan Snow's 2005 story Here Be Monsters, introduces us to Eggs, a boy raised by subterranean trolls known for wearing boxes—hence their name, Boxtrolls.

I was a little scepticle about the story at first but when my granddaughter immediately after the movie wanted to make her own box costume, I knew it was a hit. I was worth the $$$ paid.

I am a fan of stop action animation and the craftmanship involved in making and manipulating the characters. The story line is not neccessarily original but the characters are endearing.

A great buy! The movie is a phenomenal one that all will love and enjoy, the price is unbeatable and Best Buy always has a special edition exclusive to Best Buy only! A+!

If you like ParaNorman and Coraline you will like this brilliant stop-motion animation. This move has some great positive messages. It has something for the whole family to enjoy.

The story line was good. It was easy for a 7 year old to understand. I was really in awe of the amount of time that must have been put into this movie just to shoot the scenes.

This movie was quite cute, we bought it as a gift and then funny enough received a different edition (blu-ray/DVD) combo) from a different family as a gift. Cute for kids.

My son loves movies like Coraline, Frankenweenie, Monster House, etc. This fit in perfect with his taste. We even had to make him his own box so he could be a Boxtroll too!

Wasnt sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised what a well done movie. Really enjoyed it along with the kids, they really got a kick out of it. would recommend it

While it's far from Laika's best offering, The Boxtrolls is still packed with enough offbeat wit and visual splendor to offer a healthy dose of all-ages entertainment.

My son an I saw this movie in the cinema and thought it would be great to have in our home movie collection. The 3D Blu-Ray was just as good as the cinema. Great Movie!

This is a great story and produced as a magically created animation. The quality is wonderful and the special features convey the skill and artistry used to create it.

Bought this for my grandkids so we could have a movie night. They really liked it and asked to watch it again! And we enjoyed it enough to sit through it twice also!

My grandson and I watched this movie, we laughed and laughed, it's so nice to be able to spend quality time with the family, having great entertainment is a bonus.

Good movie for the kids to teach them about kindnesses, and compassion even if nobody understands you.excellent graphics on the claymation and a decent storyline.

Had heard many great things about this movie and found it on sale cheap one day, so I decided to pick it up. Never been a huge fan of this animation style, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyhow. The story felt a little flat to me and I didn't seem to connect to any of the characters really, so this one was just kind of meh for me personally. Others may appreciate the style or humor they were going for better, though. I don't think this was a bad movie per se, just wasn't for me.

I bought this movie for my 5 yr old niece! We watched it together and it was a great movie. There were a couple of scenes that I had to explain but it was great!

I wasn't sure about the movie but it kept our attention the entire time. The characters were cute and really had the entire families attention the entire movie.
