    This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Mickey Rooney is so superb! This also includes the sequel Men of Boys Town!

    I appreciate a good plot, acting and a black and white movie...this did not dissapoint. I simply adore Spencer Tracy, and Mickey Rooney younger was superb!

    I just saw this movie this year. It is a great movie that goes over the founding of Father Flannigans Home for Boys. If you have not seen this movie I strongly encourage it.

    A gift for my wife who pulls out oldies such as this once per year. Alas, it was time to replace worn VHS with DVD since the VCR is no longer convenient. Fortunately, the content of old movies such as this will last long beyond the technology used to view it. Not a disappointment by any means.
