It works well. I have a soft cover for my S6 and just put the magnet in the soft cover and it sticks to the vent mount. There's little plastic "feet" that also help it stay in place but haven't really needed to use them. It comes with an extra stick on magnet if you don't have a cover but I didn't need it.

Nice product and concept. Need to have more extra parts for different type of vents.

This works well for the iPhone 7... holding the phone up for using Maps (GPS) during trips. It makes it much easier than trying to prop up the iPhone in the vehicle. It comes w/ 3 magnets - wish it came with 4 (usually 2 drivers in a household).

Been looking for a device that can hold Iphone 6plus size without hassle attaching and removing phone. I found the holy grail. Supports Iphone 6 plus when in otter case with magnets. Just an ingenious design. I bought another one for my other vehicle. Works on large phones in carrying cases. Awesome.

Bought this because I was tired of looking for a solution that would work for my Wife's car without blocking windows. Wife's phone: Galaxy S5 Wife's case: Life proof. Slim plate easily fit under the life proof case, but had to be placed perfectly or it would cause the phone screen to go black rendering the phone completely unuseable. Got the placement right and happily proceeded with the unit install. First speed bump she hit, the phone fell off and became lost beneath the seat. After finding the phone, the plate inside the case had slipped causing the screen to go black again. Tried a couple more times/methods of mounting and placement of the plate with nearly identical results. Returned to store.

I was looking for a phone mount that I could attach to the vent on my dashboard and this product works perfectly. It is completely adjustable to almost any viewing angle with strong clips to latch onto the vent fins. It uses a magnet and metal plate system to keep the phone in place. If you use a phone case, simply slip one of different sized thin metal plates between the back of your phone and case. The magnet inside the mount will attract the metal plate and hold your phone securely in place. There are other metal plate / adhesive options included in the packaging for different phone (case or no case) applications.

A little loose, comes off fairly easily. But better than others I've tried.

Easy to set up and attach! Worked on my iPhone. The magnet was easier than having to snap it into a holder. This made it easy to pick up during a call. No hassle.

This cell phone holder works perfectly with magnets. It is extremely easy to put it on the mount and take it off. Not like others that you have to adjust the arms

I was skeptical of air vent mounts, but this is top notch. The magnet is strong enough that the phone never moves, and the mount doesn't slip off the vent blades.

Use it in my car (Kia Soul '12) and I must have have unusual vents. The vent mount clips hit another set of vents located just behind the first, preventing a good grip. Therefore, it won't stay put and repeatedly falls off. Tweaking & adjusting has no effect. Check your vents before you buy...

Magnets work great and hold phone in place with no issues. Only downside is that it is extremely difficult to ever remove magnet fromback of phone with how strong the glue/sticking holds. But overall great product

This gives my I-phone a strong support when using it as a GPS.

This helps me to concentrate more on my driving when on the road.

The device works well with the magnet. However it seems to have a hard time staying in the vent. Sometimes it accidentally slides out on its own. Wish it clipped in better.

If it fits with your car vents, it's great! The tabs at the bottom work well to hold you phone - for a larger phone the magnet isn't enough. Unfortunately, it only works for one of our cars. Otherwise it's perfect.

I wasn't sure if it would hold my phone in a place easy to see while driving. It has worked well and magnetically holds it in place while also providing short extensions at the bottom to keep it from sliding down.

I tried radio shack and other stores, but could find nothing to hold my GPS from my vent which prevents the sun from hitting it and is easier to see. The hook/clip on this can turn to accomidate any vent. This also allows me to move my GPS to another car if needed.

I have a new Nissan Altina and for whatever reason this kept slipping off the vents. My phone is the Galaxy 6edge, so its not too heavy in my opionon. I had to flip it upside down in order for it Not to slip off. I love the magnet feature but would loved it more if it gripped better.

Very hard to install. Spring clips can't be opened by hand. I had to pry open with a nail then slide over vent louvre. With an iPhone 6+ attached the entire assembly came off in a high speed left turn. Inn normal driving situations there was no problem.. Would recommend this item
