I love what this is suppose to do! It holds my phone on the magnetic part just fine, but the clasps that connect to the air vent are very cheap. There has been MULTIPLE times I have taken a small turn and the only contraption (phone included) has flown into the floor. If that was more sturdy, I would definitely rate this a 5!

I have had a couple other versions that have broken at the same location. This seems to be a much improved version and I really like the magnet versus the squeeze together sides. The magnet is strong and the plate fits nicely inside the case.

A Best Buy associate showed me all the models for vehicle phone mounts and the pros and cons plus his own experience with a few. It work well. I like how I can swivel the phone to any angle. As for a con, once in a while when moving the phone the clips pop off the vent and you must re-attach which isn't a big deal unless driving.

I had a windshield mount that kept falling off so I bought this while on a trip. I am impressed with how well it holds the phone. I use it to hold my iPhone whips using the GPS app. Works great!

I use this daily for my phone when I am driving. Comes in handy while using maps or talking on phone hands free. It is very convenient to have the magnet instead of fumbling with sizing like other ones.

I've tried several other mounting devices. This is by far the most effective design I've used. The strong magnet works great and only requires one hand to remove or engage the phone. The thin steel plate fits easily between my phone and phone case.

I purchased this phone mount because I'm driving for lyft and this makes it easy to set the phone on it with the magnetic feature. Easy to put on and take off. It's very sturdy and doesn't jiggle around when you drive unlike some suction cup mounts.

I really like it a lot. I use it daily and would recommend to anyone to buy one!

I needed a cell phone holder but I didn't want to get a really cheap one. I picked this one up and it was perfect. I have 2 12" subwoofers in my trunk and the bass doesn't make the cellphone release from the mount. Great product.

Perfect for my ford suv. Plus I can take it with me for my second vehicle
